Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a fire hazard from occurring when a combustible matter draws near to the front part of a heating element by providing an electric circuit which turns off the heating element by a signal emitted from a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature rise of an object being heated by the heating element and further providing the temperature sensor at the upper part of a reflection plate. CONSTITUTION:A thermistor 5 is fixed as a temperature sensor on the surface of a stove casing 1 at the upper part of a reflection plate 2. When an obstacle 11 such as a combustible matter or the like approaches the front of a guard 4, the temperature of the obstacle 11 rises up by the heat of the heating element 3. The ambient temperature of the thermistor 5 rises up by the heat, and the resistance value varies, and the power supply to the heating unit is stopped by a control circuit 6. For this reason, the heating of the obstacle 11 is stopped and hence the generation of fire hazard can be prevented.
