Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display(LCD) device packaging method capable of preventing the occurrence of misconnection in connecting a signal driving circuit substrate to a control circuit substrate through a flexible wiring board without increasing cost and the sorts of parts to be used. SOLUTION: Connectors of different types (a male type and a female type) are used for a signal driving circuit substrate side connector 6 and a control circuit substrate side connector 7 to be built in a flexible wiring board 3 for electrically connecting a signal driving circuit substrate 1 to a control circuit substrate 2. Since both the connectors 6, 7 built in the wiring board 3 for electrically connecting the substrate 1 to the substrate 2 are constituted as mutually engaged and electrically connected pair structure (e.g. a male type and a female type), the occurrence of misconnection between both the substrates 1, 2 through the wiring board 3 can easily be prevented without increasing cost and the sorts of parts to be used, the assembling work of the wiring board 3 can easily be executed and the cost of a liquid crystal display device can be reduced.

Embodiment 3 In the second embodiment, the upper flexible wiring board 3a can be slid downward as it is to be used as the lower flexible wiring board 3b. However, the signal driving circuit board, the control circuit board, and the like can be used. For convenience in designing the wiring pattern of the flexible wiring board, as shown in FIG. 3, one of the upper flexible wiring board 3a and the lower flexible wiring board 3b may be provided in an inverted form. . In this case, the upper flexible wiring board 3a can be used as the lower flexible wiring board 3b by rotating the upper flexible wiring board 3a by 180 degrees and sliding it downward, and the same effect as in the first embodiment can be obtained.

Embodiment 4 Embodiments 1, 2, and 3
In this embodiment, the signal drive circuit boards 1 are arranged on one side or both sides of the liquid crystal panel, and each signal drive circuit board 1 is electrically connected to the control circuit board 2 via an independent flexible wiring board 3. Although the liquid crystal display device having the configuration has been described, the circuit board on which the control circuit and the scanning drive circuit are both formed is electrically connected to the signal drive circuit board via an independent flexible wiring board. In the liquid crystal display device having the same configuration, the signal drive circuit board side connector and the circuit board side connector provided on the flexible wiring board are of a male type and a female type, respectively. The effect is obtained.

As described above, according to the present invention, a signal drive circuit board side connector provided on a flexible wiring board for electrically connecting a signal drive circuit board and a control circuit board is provided. By forming a pair of structures (for example, a male type and a female type) in which the circuit board side connectors are fitted and electrically connected to each other, between the signal drive circuit board and the control circuit board via the flexible wiring board. It is possible to easily prevent erroneous connection of the liquid crystal display device without increasing the cost or increasing the types of components to be used, thereby facilitating the assembling work of the flexible wiring board and reducing the cost of the liquid crystal display device.
