Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminating oxygen sensing agent having a wide practical application range, an excellent discoloring performance corresponding to an oxygen concentration and a low cost. SOLUTION: The laminating oxygen sensing agent comprises a tape-like oxygen sensing agent 1 obtained by attaching an oxygen sensing composition by coating, printing or impregnating to a non-gas permeable and non-moisture permeable tape-like base materials, and a plastic single-side adhesive tape 2 having a partly transparent adhesive layer with a wider width than the agent 1 in such a manner that the overall oxygen sensing composition attaching surface of the agent 1 is adhered via the tape 2 substantially without air gap. Thus, the sensor is rapidly discolored corresponding to a change of the oxygen concentration in a package container. A reduction in the oxygen concentration can be easily visually sensed without time delay. Further, even under much moisture or oil environment, without a fault of a color tone. The sensor can be utilized for a quality control of a deoxidizing package food with safety. Even in the case of stocking under the condition that it is laminated on the deoxidizer package or in the package container, the sensor performs an excellent performance without deteriorating the color tone and discoloring speed.

Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 8-282740 proposes an oxygen-absorbing agent-integrated oxygen detector obtained by laminating an oxygen-absorbing agent packaging bag / double-sided tape / detection agent sheet / transparent film in this order. ing. However, since this method uses a double-sided tape, it has problems such as being expensive, release paper being generated as waste, poor cuttability, and large thickness and poor flexibility. Further, when the oxygen detecting agent sheet and the transparent film are cut, there is a practical problem such that moisture or oil may penetrate the entire detecting agent sheet from the ends thereof to cause abnormal color tone.

The oxygen detecting agent for tape-like sticking of the present invention comprises a tape-like oxygen detecting agent and a single-sided adhesive tape made of plastic (hereinafter sometimes referred to as a single-sided adhesive tape). Since the cost can be reduced and the operability at the time of use is high, the total cost as an oxygen detector can be reduced. Furthermore, since the single-sided adhesive tape seals the oxygen-sensing composition surface of the tape-shaped oxygen sensing agent at the substantially central portion thereof, and adopts a simplified layer configuration in which the adhesive is stuck at portions near both ends, In addition to being thin and flexible, it has excellent discoloration performance as an oxygen detecting agent and excellent water and oil resistance, and exhibits its original oxygen detecting performance without deterioration in performance even under severe conditions of high humidity. In addition, since it is excellent in flexibility, good sticking properties can be exhibited on a surface having irregularities or a surface having low rigidity such as an oxygen scavenger packaging bag or a food packaging container. In addition, no waste such as release paper is generated at the time of use, and it is easy to use.

In use, the oxygen detecting agent of the present invention is covered with a single-sided adhesive tape on its surface, and the opposite surface is sealed with a tape-like base material and isolated from the outside atmosphere. The color change response speed to the decrease in the oxygen concentration in the atmosphere is faster than that of the conventional oxygen detector in which the composition is in direct contact with the atmosphere. Although the mechanism is not clear, the single-sided adhesive tape prevents excessive moisture absorption, which causes deterioration of oxygen detection performance, and has the function of appropriately transmitting atmospheric gas. It is presumed to be related to preventing the detection agent component from migrating outside.

In addition, leave one part transparent so that the color change of the oxygen detector can be seen, display information such as hidden characters and pictograms on the other part, and use an appropriate color tone for the purpose of making it easier to distinguish the oxygen detector color tone. May be printed. The width of the tape-shaped oxygen detector is preferably 2 to 20 mm. If it is too narrow, it becomes difficult to see, and if it is too wide, the cost increases and handling becomes inconvenient. The thickness is preferably 1 mm or less, particularly preferably 0.5 mm or less, in terms of flexibility and aesthetics.

When the tape-shaped oxygen detecting agent is combined with a single-sided adhesive tape, the color changing portion may be continuous in the tape length direction. However, in order to make it easy to distinguish the color change, the color changing portion is colored in the tape length direction. It is preferable that the changed part and the part that does not change are alternately present. Preferred patterns are illustrated in FIGS. FIG. 2 shows a combination of a single-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape which is entirely transparent, and a tape-shaped oxygen detecting agent in which an oxygen detecting composition is continuously arranged in a dot shape. FIG. 3 shows a combination of a single-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape having a transparent portion continuous in the length direction and a tape-shaped oxygen detecting agent in which the oxygen detecting composition is arranged in stripes. FIG. 4 shows a combination of a single-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape having a transparent portion intermittently in the length direction and a tape-shaped oxygen detecting agent having an oxygen detecting composition disposed on the entire surface. Note that the present invention is not limited to these examples.

[Preparation of Tape-like Oxygen Detecting Agent] The tape-shaped oxygen detecting agent and the single-sided adhesive tape are applied to an apparatus composed of two sets of upper and lower unwinding rolls, a guide and a take-up roll. At approximately the center in the width direction of the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, the tape-shaped oxygen detector is wound 100 m onto a 3-inch paper tube of a take-up roll with the positions aligned so that the oxygen-sensitive composition and the pressure-sensitive adhesive surface are in contact and overlap with each other, as shown in FIG. Thus, a tape-shaped oxygen detector for sticking was obtained. The color change of the oxygen detector for attachment was CS21-04 (dark blue) in air, and CS26-04 (red) in an atmosphere in which the oxygen concentration was reduced to 0.1% or less by an oxygen scavenger.

From the results of measurement 1 (Table 2), in Example 1, the oxygen detector reached the color tone CS26-04 immediately after the oxygen concentration in the bag reached 0.1% both before and after storage, and the color tone became faint. From this, it can be seen that the oxygen detector for application of the present invention has an excellent oxygen concentration indicating function and also has excellent storage stability. On the other hand, in Comparative Examples 1 and 2, there was a delay in the color change rate of the oxygen detector even before storage, and after storage, the color change rate became remarkable and the color tone became faint, making it difficult to determine. . This was considered to be because the oxygen sensing composition was deteriorated by the humidity (97% RH / 25 ° C.) of the oxygen absorber package. In particular, those using a non-moisture-permeable tape-shaped oxygen detector showed better performance than the moisture-permeable ones, and it is presumed that the dye movement in the thickness direction due to moisture permeation is a factor in the performance change. Was.

Also, from the results of Measurement 2 (Table 3), in the comparative example in which the single-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape was not used, the oil content or moisture of the donut caused an abnormal color tone of the oxygen detecting agent. It can be seen that while the color reversion to blue is insufficient and the color density is low, the embodiment of the present invention maintains the color tone well and maintains the discoloration performance even after opening.

Further, one pinhole is opened in the bag with a sewing needle,
The next day, when the oxygen concentration in the bag was measured, it was found to have risen to 0.4%. At this time, the color of the detecting agent changed to CS24-04, and abnormality of the bag could be detected. Two days later, the oxygen concentration in the bag had increased to 12%, and the color tone of the detection agent had changed to CS22-04 in response. In measuring the oxygen concentration in the bag, a small amount of gas in the bag was sampled and analyzed using a gas chromatograph. It has been found that the oxygen detector for application of the present invention faithfully reflects the change in color tone when an abnormality occurs in the food packaging container to which the oxygen scavenger is applied and the oxygen scavenging state is impaired.

According to the oxygen detecting agent for application of the present invention, the oxygen detecting agent rapidly changes its color in response to the change in the oxygen concentration in the packaging container due to the oxygen scavenger, and the oxygen concentration decreases with a time delay. This achieves the effect that detection can be easily performed visually without accompanying. Further, in the oxygen absorber to which the oxygen detector for application of the present invention is applied, the oxygen detector rapidly discolors in response to a change in the oxygen concentration in the packaging container, and the change in the oxygen concentration is not accompanied by a time delay. It is suitably used for preservation of foods and the like as an oxygen scavenger having a function of being easily detectable visually.

The oxygen sensing agent for application of the present invention can be manufactured at low cost because of its simple structure, and can be formed into a thin and flexible tape like a general single-sided adhesive tape. In addition to being able to be cut to any length for use, it can also be automatically and continuously manufactured, cut and pasted mechanically, and is extremely easy to use. In addition, since it is excellent in flexibility, good sticking properties can be exhibited on a surface having irregularities or a surface having low rigidity such as an oxygen scavenger packaging bag or a food packaging container. In addition, no waste such as release paper is generated during use, and the usability is good.
