Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an oxygen detector that displays the presence or absence of oxygen by a change in color tone. More specifically, the present invention relates to an oxygen detecting agent for sticking which is a small piece having an adhesive surface on one side and is used by sticking the adhesive surface to the inside of an oxygen scavenger package or a packaging container.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The oxygen detector (oxygen indicator) detects changes in oxygen concentration in food and other packaging containers, and in particular indicates that the oxygen in the deoxygenated package has been sufficiently removed by changing the color tone. To do. As an oxygen detector, a product molded into a tablet, a porous material such as paper, thread, absorbent cotton, or a resin molded body impregnated with an oxygen detection composition solution, or an oxygen detection composition is applied or printed on the surface of paper or film. Proposed items have been proposed. This oxygen detection agent is widely put into practical use in the field of maintaining quality of foods and the like mainly using oxygen scavengers in the form as it is or packaged in a plastic laminated film. Also, because of the advantage of eliminating the risk of accidental eating, a method and configuration for fixing the oxygen detector inside the oxygen scavenger package or packaging container with an adhesive or double-sided adhesive tape has been proposed and put to practical use. Has been.
[0003]
For example, in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 64-66561, an oxygen indicator layer is provided on at least one surface of a synthetic paper, a transparent layer is provided on the oxygen indicator layer, and an adhesive is applied to all or part of the front surface and / or back surface. An oxygen indicator with a layer is disclosed. Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 4-3980 proposes a method in which a sheet-like oxygen detector is attached to an oxygen scavenger packaging material with an adhesive or a double-sided adhesive tape to be integrated. However, in these attached oxygen indicators, water and oil contained in a stored object such as food may permeate into the oxygen detector and the color changing function may be impaired.
JP-A-8-282740 discloses an integrated oxygen detector in which an oxygen scavenger packaging bag / double-sided adhesive tape / oxygen detector sheet / transparent film are laminated in order. However, this integrated oxygen detector is expensive due to the use of a double-sided adhesive tape, and there are problems such as an increase in thickness, a poor flexibility and an uncomfortable feeling, and a low productivity for integration.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention solves all the problems such as low water resistance and oil resistance of conventional oxygen detectors for sticking, thick and uncomfortable feeling, high manufacturing cost, low productivity, and reduced function of oxygen scavenger. It is another object of the present invention to provide a sticking detection agent having a wide practical range and excellent color change performance.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention relates to a label-like oxygen detection agent for sticking having a pressure-sensitive adhesive surface on the back surface, the surface to which the oxygen detection composition is attached is covered with a non-breathable and moisture-permeable transparent single-sided adhesive tape, or The present invention also relates to a continuous body in which the label-like oxygen detector for sticking is stuck on a release paper at regular intervals.
The oxygen detector for sticking of the present invention comprises a label-like oxygen detector having an oxygen detection composition attached to the surface and an adhesive surface on the back surface, and a non-breathable and moisture-permeable transparent single-sided adhesive tape.
[0006]
The label-like oxygen detector constituting the present invention is obtained by attaching an oxygen detection composition to a label base material, and the presence or absence of oxygen is displayed by changing the color of the oxygen detection composition according to the oxygen concentration in the ambient atmosphere. . Oxygen detection compositions include anthraquinone, indigo, thiazine, dyes that change color with a reducing agent such as sulfur dyes, alkaline substances such as alkali metal or alkaline earth metal hydroxides and salts, and reduction A composition containing a reducing agent such as sugar as an essential component is preferably used. If necessary, these essential components are added in combination with a solvent, a dye or pigment that does not change color with a reducing agent, a water-soluble polymer, a binder resin, and the like, and are attached to a tape-like substrate. Examples of the attaching method include each method such as coating, printing or impregnation.
In order to exhibit high oxygen detection performance even under severe conditions of high humidity, as the label-like oxygen detection agent, the oxygen detection composition is applied or printed on one side of a non-breathable and non-breathable synthetic paper or film. Those are preferably used.
[0007]
As the label substrate, non-breathable and moisture-impermeable synthetic paper or film is used. For example, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester, polyamide, polycarbonate, cellulose acetate, cellophane, and the like can be mentioned. From the viewpoint of transparency, flexibility, strength, and the like, stretched polypropylene or polyester is preferable. The thickness of the label substrate is not particularly limited as long as it has practical strength and flexibility, but it is preferably 10 to 100 microns. The oxygen permeability of the label substrate is preferably 50 to 3000 ml / m 2 · atm · 24 h, and the moisture permeability is preferably 50 g / m 2 · 24 h or less.
The label substrate is preferably opaque or appropriately colored in order to make the color change of the oxygen detector easy to see. Furthermore, leave the part transparent so that the color change of the oxygen detector can be seen, display information such as concealed characters and pictograms in other parts, and make it easy to distinguish the oxygen detector color tone. May be printed.
[0008]
The non-breathable and moisture-permeable transparent single-sided adhesive tape constituting the present invention is preferably one in which an adhesive is applied or laminated on one side of a plastic film. Examples of the material of the plastic film include polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester, polyamide, polycarbonate, cellulose acetate, cellophane, and the like. From the viewpoint of transparency, flexibility, strength, and the like, stretched polypropylene and polyester are preferable. The thickness of the plastic film is not particularly limited as long as it has practical strength and flexibility, but is preferably 10 to 100 microns. The plastic film may be colorless and transparent, or a transparent film appropriately colored to make the color change of the oxygen detector easy to see. Furthermore, leave the part transparent so that the color change of the oxygen detector can be seen, display information such as concealed characters and pictograms in other parts, and make it easy to distinguish the oxygen detector color tone. May be printed. The oxygen permeability of the plastic film is preferably 50 to 3000 ml / m 2 · atm · 24h. The moisture permeability is preferably 50 g / m 2 · 24 h or less.
[0009]
As the pressure-sensitive adhesive applied or laminated on the single-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape of the present invention, existing ones such as a synthetic rubber type, a natural rubber type, an acrylic type, and a silicon type can be used. Preferably, the pressure-sensitive adhesive is applied or laminated on the entire surface of the plastic film. At this time, the type and thickness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive are such that the dye used for the oxygen detector does not stain or inhibit discoloration of the dye, is excellent in transparency, is excellent in safety and hygiene, and is appropriate for the adherend. May be selected as appropriate in consideration of obtaining good adhesiveness.
In the present invention, water and oil resistance is imparted by covering the oxygen-sensing composition with a non-breathable and moisture-permeable transparent single-sided adhesive tape. Therefore, the attached oxygen detection composition is adhered to the entire oxygen detection composition substantially without voids, or substantially all of the oxygen detection agent attachment surface is blocked by the adhesive tape. It is preferable.
[0010]
Since the oxygen detector for sticking of the present invention can be made into a small strip-like label, it hardly affects the ability of the oxygen scavenger and feels strange even when integrated with the oxygen scavenger. There is no. Moreover, since it has an adhesive surface on the back surface, it is difficult to peel off, and since it is covered with a non-breathable and moisture-permeable transparent single-sided adhesive tape, it has water resistance and oil resistance.
The oxygen detection agent for sticking of this invention can be made into the continuous body stuck on the release paper with the adhesive surface of the back surface multiple pieces. In particular, a continuous body in which the oxygen detectors for sticking according to the present invention are arranged at regular intervals can be attached immediately after being peeled off from the release paper, so that the manufacturing cost is low and high-speed sticking using an automatic sticking machine is possible. Productivity.
[0011]

[0012]
【Example】
Next, the present invention will be described more specifically with reference to examples.
Example 1
(Preparation of oxygen detector)
Contains magnesium hydroxide fine powder as an alkaline substance, fructose as a reducing agent, methylene blue (CI Basic Blue 9) as a colorant that changes with a reducing agent, ethyl cellulose as a binder resin, and Phloxine (CIAcid Red 92 as a colorant that does not change with a reducing agent) ), Ink containing water and methanol as solvent was prepared.
[Preparation of labeled oxygen detector]
The ink was applied by gravure printing on a surface of polypropylene synthetic paper (manufactured by Oji Paper Co., Ltd., trade name: YUPO, thickness 70 μm) in a square of 4 mm in length and 4 mm in width at regular intervals, and dried. Next, a synthetic rubber elastomer-based adhesive was applied to the surface of the synthetic paper not coated with ink to form an adhesive layer, and a release paper was attached. Next, a transparent single-sided adhesive tape with a thickness of 20 μm, made of a stretched polypropylene film and coated with an acrylic adhesive on the entire surface of the synthetic paper ink (Lintech Co., Ltd., trade name) PL thin / 7HL), and then half-punch, leaving the release paper in a square of 10mm in length and 16mm in width, centering on the location where ink was applied with a punching die, and releasing the paper except the half-cut outer periphery A label-like oxygen detector for sticking, which was attached to the film, was obtained. Finally, the release paper was cut and wound around a paper tube to obtain a continuous body of oxygen detection agents for sticking in which label-like oxygen detection agents for sticking were arranged in a line on the release paper at regular intervals.
[0013]
[Discoloration performance of labeled oxygen detector]
One oxygen detector is peeled off from the release paper and affixed to an oxygen scavenger package (product name Ageless SA-100, manufactured by Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Co., Ltd.) for air conditioning with 500 ml air and 80% atmospheric humidity It was sealed in a gas barrier bag together with absorbent cotton impregnated with an aqueous solution and stored in a room at 25 ° C. Table 1 shows the results of observing the color tone of the oxygen detector while measuring the oxygen concentration with a zirconia oxygen meter by sampling a small amount of gas in the bag at regular intervals. The oxygen concentration in the bag reached 0.1% in 12 hours, but the attached oxygen detection agent turned pink as soon as the oxygen concentration in the bag reached 0.1%. This oxygen detector showed a blue color under open air.

Transparent single-sided adhesive tape with a thickness of 16μm that is made of polyethylene terephthalate and coated with acrylic adhesive on the entire surface, instead of stretched polypropylene film adhesive tape. Table 1 shows the results of producing a label-like oxygen detector in the same manner as in Example 1 except that Lintec Co., Ltd. (trade name: PL Thin / 7LK) was used, and evaluating the discoloration performance. The oxygen concentration in the bag reached 0.1% in 12 hours, but the attached oxygen detection agent turned pink as soon as the oxygen concentration in the bag reached 0.1%. This oxygen detector showed a blue color under open air.
[0015]
Example 3
In the same manner as in Example 1 except that the gas barrier bag was sealed with absorbent cotton impregnated with water so that the humidity was 100% instead of the absorbent cotton impregnated with the humidity adjusting agent to make the humidity 80%. The results of evaluating the storage performance are shown in Table 2. The oxygen concentration in the bag reached 0.1% in 12 hours, but the attached oxygen detection agent turned pink as soon as the oxygen concentration in the bag reached 0.1%, and remained pink after 90 days.
[0016]
Example 4
The label-like sticking oxygen detection agent obtained in Example 1 is loaded in a row into a super-high-speed automatic labeling machine (product name: AL-type) manufactured by SATO Co., Ltd. In combination with an automatic filling and packaging machine for producing oxygen scavengers, it was possible to produce oxygen scavengers with labeled oxygen detectors at a high speed of 500 pieces per minute without any problems.
[0017]
Comparative Example 1
Table 1 shows the results of producing a label-like oxygen detector in the same manner as in Example 1 except that no single-sided adhesive tape was attached to the surface on which the oxygen detector was printed, and evaluating the discoloration performance. The oxygen concentration in the bag reached 0.1% in 12 hours, but this label-like oxygen detector that showed blue under air was then a neutral purple color and turned pink after one day. That is, there was a time delay for the label-like oxygen detector to color with respect to the decrease in oxygen concentration in the bag.
[0018]
Comparative Example 2
Use a single-sided adhesive tape to be applied to the surface on which the oxygen detector is printed, instead of a stretched polypropylene film adhesive tape, and use high-quality breathable and moisture-permeable paper. Table 1 shows the results of producing a labeled oxygen detector in the same manner as in Example 1 and evaluating the color change performance. The oxygen concentration in the bag reached 0.1% in 12 hours, but this label-like oxygen detector that showed blue under air was still blue and turned pink one day later. That is, there was a time delay for the label-like oxygen detector to color with respect to the decrease in oxygen concentration in the bag.
[0019]
Comparative Example 3
The result of evaluating the storage performance in the same manner as in Comparative Example 1 except that the gas barrier bag was sealed together with the absorbent cotton impregnated with the humidity-controlling agent that made the humidity 100% instead of the absorbent cotton impregnated with the humidity-controlling agent that made the humidity of 80%. Are shown in Table 2. This labeled oxygen detector remained pink until 30 days, but turned purple after 60 days.
[0020]
Comparative Example 4
Preservation performance was evaluated in the same manner as in Comparative Example 2 except that the gas barrier bag was sealed with absorbent cotton impregnated with a humidity-controlling agent that adjusted the humidity to 100% instead of the absorbent cotton impregnated with the humidity-controlling agent that adjusted the humidity to 80%. The results are shown in Table 2. This labeled oxygen detector remained pink until 10 days, but turned purple after 15 days and blue after 30 days.

【The invention's effect】
The oxygen detector for sticking of the present invention has a label shape in which the surface to which the oxygen detection composition is attached is covered with a non-breathable and moisture-impermeable transparent single-sided adhesive tape, and the back surface has an adhesive surface. Because it has water and oil resistance, the manufacturing cost is low, and when it is integrated with the oxygen scavenger package, there is no sense of incongruity and it does not affect the capacity of the oxygen scavenger. It can be applied to the field of quality maintenance.
Since a continuous body obtained by sticking a plurality of oxygen detectors for sticking of the present invention onto a release paper with an adhesive surface on the back surface can be immediately attached to an oxygen scavenger package etc. if it is peeled off from the release paper, the production cost , And high-speed sticking using an automatic sticking machine is possible, improving productivity.
