Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thick-coatable cement-based composition having high durability even after set by formulating cement with each specified amount of an aggregate and a water-soluble polymeric compound which has thickening and water-holding effect and adhesion-enhancing effect. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by formulating 100 pts.wt. of conventional cement such as Portland cement with 10-500 pts.wt. of an aggregate, 0.05-200 pts.wt. of a water-soluble polymeric compound having thickening and water-holding effect and adhesion-enhancing effect, and, if needed, 1-43 pts.wt. of calcium carbonate and/or calcium hydroxide, and each small amount of a defoaming agent, water-reducing agent and high-performance water-reducing agent. A mortar is prepared by adding 20-300 pts.wt. of water to 100 pts.wt. of this composition followed by kneading. In place of the water-soluble polymeric compound, 0.05-2 pts.wt. of a thickening and water-holding agent such as methyl cellulose and 200 pts.wt. of an adhesion-enhancing agent such as an ethylene-vinyl acetate-based polymer may be used. The water-soluble polymeric material is e.g. a cellulose-, acrylic acid- or plant-based thickening agent, an emulsion latex-based compound.

2. Description of the Related Art At present, various functional powders are widely known. For example, titanium oxide powder that has been used as a white pigment for a long time has been known to have an antibacterial action, a catalytic action, and the like, and silver powder has also been used as an antibacterial agent. When a functional powder such as a metal powder or a metal oxide powder is supported on a target article, (a) a method of producing an article by directly mixing the functional powder in a raw material stage, or (b) an article After the production, a method in which the functional powder is carried on the surface of the article using a fixing medium, and (c) a method in which the functional powder is directly baked on the surface of the article.

However, the method of directly mixing the functional powder at the raw material stage is suitable for relatively small movable articles, but is difficult to apply to large fixed objects such as constructions. The method of baking the functional powder requires an apparatus for high-temperature treatment, so that the cost is high, the working environment is easily restricted, and it is difficult to apply the method to a large object as in the above method. The method using the fixing medium is free from such restrictions and has an advantage that it can be easily applied to a large object. However, there is a problem that the durability is reduced depending on the type of the organic adhesive.

On the other hand, although inorganic hydraulic substances such as cement are excellent in durability as a fixing medium, a good fixing state cannot be obtained unless the amount ratio of materials mixed with cement is proper. For example, when adding water to a mixture of cement and functional powder and kneading, the setting may progress rapidly due to the effect of the functional powder, and if the amount of water injected is small, the fluidity is poor and the application to the target substrate is performed. Becomes extremely difficult. Here, if the amount of water is excessively increased to enhance the fluidity, or if a large amount of a dispersant is added, the durability after curing is reduced, and the properties of the functional powder may be affected by the dispersant. .

[0005] In order to improve this, an inorganic compound having a function of accelerating hardening and improving strength is added, and the kneading operation is physically improved to maintain a relatively high fluidity from the time of kneading to the time of construction. A supporting method or a supporting material that does not inhibit the properties of the functional powder has been developed. However, such a cement-based carrier having a high fluidity is suitable for thin coating by a spraying method or the like on a target substrate, but has a problem in thick coating with a trowel coating or a roller, and the inclination of the substrate is large. At the time of construction and for a while after construction, the construction tends to run off or fall off, and it is difficult to obtain a firm fixed state. Also,
After the application, cracking and peeling are likely to occur as the curing proceeds.

Species, C type are preferred. An appropriate amount of aggregate is 10 to 500 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of cement. If the amount of the aggregate is less than 10 parts by weight, the effect of blending the aggregate is hardly obtained. In addition, when the amount of the aggregate exceeds 500 parts by weight, the amount of cement is relatively insufficient, so that the curing is poor and the material strength is reduced, and further, the aggregate is protruded to the surface, and the coating failure and the surface finish are poor. In place of the above water-soluble polymer compound, a thickening water retention agent and an adhesion enhancer may be used in combination. The thickening water retention agent is an additive that gives viscosity or water retention, for example, methylcellulose, hydroxyethylcellulose, hydroxypropylcellulose, methylhydroxyethylcellulose, cellulose compounds such as hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, acrylic compounds such as acrylamide, polyvinyl compounds Vinyl compounds such as alcohols can be used. The addition amount of the thickening water retention agent is suitably 0.05 to 2 parts by weight. If the amount of the thickening water retention agent is less than this, the water retention becomes insufficient, and cracks are likely to occur after curing. On the other hand, if the thickening and water-retaining agent is more than this range, the fluidity will be reduced, making it difficult to handle.

The adhesion enhancer is an additive which prevents cracking and peeling after curing and enhances the adhesion strength. For example, polymer emulsions such as ethylene vinyl acetate, acrylic, and styrene butadiene rubber can be used. The addition amount of the adhesion enhancer is suitably from 1 to 200 parts by weight. If the added amount is less than 1 part by weight, cracking or peeling is likely to occur after curing, and the adhesive strength is not improved. If the addition amount exceeds 200 parts by weight, the viscosity becomes high, so that the fluidity is reduced, and the dripping is liable to be solidified, thereby deteriorating the workability.

The functional powder-carrying composition of the present invention, which contains calcium carbonate or calcium hydroxide in addition to the above-mentioned components, can maintain flowability for a long time and improve workability. That is, the calcium ion of calcium carbonate or calcium hydroxide is taken into the aluminate phase in the cement together with water. As a result, it is possible to avoid a situation in which the entire amount of used water is immediately consumed for the hydration reaction of the cement, suppress rapid hydration of the aluminate phase, and gradually flow due to the presence of unreacted water used for the reaction. Is maintained for a relatively long time. Therefore, even if the amount of the functional powder added to the cement composition is increased,
The fluidity can be kept high for a long time without increasing the water content. Calcium oxide (quick lime) is not suitable because such an effect is small and rather causes other effects.

Calcium carbonate or calcium hydroxide may be used alone or as a mixture. Regardless of whether it is used alone or in combination, the amount is suitably 1 to 43 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of cement. If the amount used is less than 1 part by weight, there is almost no effect of increasing the fluidity, and if the amount used exceeds 43 parts by weight, the fluidity will level off.

Further, when the cement composition of the present invention is applied, the composition may be used with respect to 100 parts by weight of cement.
20-300 parts by weight of water are added. If the amount of water injected is less than 20 parts by weight, the amount of water is insufficient relative to the amount of cement, so that the water is not cured. If the amount of water injected exceeds 300 parts by weight, the fluidity becomes excessive, resulting in poor construction.

(C) Preparation of cement-based composition: The cement-based composition for supporting a functional powder of the present invention is poured into water, kneaded and prepared into a paste. At this time, it is advisable to first disperse the adhesion enhancer in water, disperse the mixture, and gradually add and knead other materials such as cement and aggregate (primary kneading). The kneading time may be about 2 to 3 minutes. Preferably, after the above-described primary kneading, the mixture is allowed to stand for 2 to 3 minutes, and then the secondary kneading is further performed. That is, after the primary kneading is allowed to stand, kneading is performed for about 30 seconds, and then a water reducing agent is added and kneaded for about 1 to 2 minutes (secondary kneading). During the secondary kneading, the flow rate is adjusted to 120 mm or more, preferably 120 to 150 mm, by adjusting the amount of the water reducing agent. (D) Coating / Coating A roller or the like is made to contain the prepared cementitious composition, and the excess is scraped off and applied to the construction surface.
It is preferable that the surface is leveled after application so that the application surface is uniform.
