的にシール板の軸方向寸法の増加につながるため、軸受
によってはリップを固定する外輪のシール嵌合溝の形状
を特殊形状にしなければならないことがあり、加工が面
倒となる。

8aと内周リップ8bを有するゴムからなるシール本体
8と、シール本体8に埋設され外周円筒部9aと半径方
向フランジ9bからなる炭素鋼板(例えば、SPCC)
の断面略L形の金属製芯金9とから構成されている。上
記シール板7の外周突部8aは外輪2の周溝5に圧入嵌
合されてシール板7が外輪2に嵌合固定される。また、
