Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.溶融した鉱質材をスピンナ(1)に供給することにより、鉱質ウールを製造 する方法であって、前記スピンナ(1)の周囲壁(2)は小さい直径を有する複 数のオリフィスを含み、前記溶融鉱質材は前記オリフィスを通って遠心されてフ ィラメントを形成し、前記フィラメントは、前記スピンナ(1)の前記周囲壁に 沿って流れこれを加熱し、かつスピンナ(1)と同軸に配置された同軸環状バー ナー(8)によって発生されたガス流の補足的細長化効果に供される、鉱質ウー ルを製造する方法において、 前記バーナー(8)の出口領域は、径方向の内側に位置する環状の高温領域と 、径方向の外側に位置し、高温領域よりも実施的に温度が低い環状の冷却領域と にさらに分割されていることを特徴とする鉱質ウールを製造する方法。 2.内部遠心によって鉱質材を繊維化する装置であって、周囲壁(2)が小さい 直径を有する複数のオリフィスを含むスピンナ(1)を備え、 溶融鉱質材は、前記オリフィスを通って遠心されてフィラメントを形成し、前記 フィラメントは、前記スピンナ(1)の前記周囲壁に沿って流れこれを加熱し、 かつスピンナ(1)と同軸に配置された同軸環状バーナー(8)によって発生さ れたガス流の補足的細長化効果に供される、鉱質材を繊維化する装置において、 バーナーの出口において外周壁(9)の中に、空気などの冷却ガスを注入する 注入手段(17、18)が設置され、かつ、注入領域においては、ガスの注入方 向がバーナーガスが流れる方向と本質的に交差していることを特徴とする鉱質材 を繊維化する装置。 3.貫通孔の形をなす各オリフィスの直径は、1ないし3mmであり、特に、2 mm付近であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の装置。 4.貫通孔の形をなし、一様に分布するオリフィスは、その連続する2つのオリ フィスの距離が、2ないし15mmであり、特に、5ないし12mmであること を特徴とする請求項2または3に記載の装置。 5.前記貫通孔は少なくとも2つの列からなる複数列に配列され、隣接する列の 間の距離は2ないし10mm、より好ましくは5mmであることを特徴とする請 求項4に記載の装置。 6.注入手段は、少なくとも1つの連続的な外周上のスリット(18)の形をな す注入口を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項2ないし5のいずれか1項に記載 の鉱質材を繊維化する装置。 7.前記スリット(18)の幅は、0.3ないし1mmであることを特徴とする 請求項6に記載の装置。 8.前記スリット(18)の幅は、可変であることを特徴とする請求項6または 7に記載の装置。
