Abstract

The container (10) includes a first base member (12) having a transparent area (18) located so that an object to be placed within the container is visible through the transparent area when the container is in a closed position. The container also includes a second base member (14) and a hinge (16) interconnecting the first and second base members. - The first base member is movable w.r.t. the second base member between a closed position in which the peripheral edges (20, 22) are releasably latchable, and an open position in which the base members are at least partially spaced from each other. Description

【発明の詳細な説明】透明部を有するヒンジ容器発明の技術分野本発明は、物を保管する容器に関する。特に、本発明は薬の容器に関する。発明の背景一般に、家庭や定常的な場所で使用される固形薬を保管又は収容するために便利な容器に、厚紙容器やプラスチックボトルが含まれる。しかしながら、利便性を考慮すると、いくつかの薬（特に、風邪薬、鎮痛剤、ビタミンなどの店頭販売される薬）は、利用者のポケットやハンドバッグに入れて簡単に持ち運びできる容器に保管するのが好ましい。ところが、そのような薬の利用者が容器をポケットやハンドバッグに入れて持ち運ぶ場合、容器は衝撃によって損傷する危険が高いし、頻繁に使用し操作することにより大きなストレスを受ける。なお、容器を頻繁に使用し操作すると、容器が壊れたり、容器が簡単に開いて容器内容物が汚れたり無くなったりする恐れがある。喉用ドロップに利用される金属箱のような携帯容器が従来知られている。しかし、多くの従来の容器は、それを構成している材料が弱いことにより、また閉鎖機構が十分機能しないことにより、携帯中にストレスを受けると簡単に開いてしまう。その他の従来の携帯容器は反対の問題を有している。すなわち、特に年配の人や手先の操作性に支障を有する人にとっては、それらは開けるのが難しかった。安全なキャップ形状を採用することによって従来容器の閉鎖部を改良しようとする試みがなされているが、店頭で販売される薬や処方箋で処方された薬の利用者にとって、これは携帯容器を開けるのを非常に難しくするものであった。また、多くの携帯容器は、容器を開けなければ、薬の使用者が容器の内容物を見ることができなかった。そのために、従来より、ポケットやハンドバッグに簡単に入れることができる大きさで、不用意に開くことがなく且つ携帯使用する場合に生じる損傷やストレスの高危険性に十分耐えることができ、しかも利用者が手で力を加えると容易に開けることができる携帯用薬容器が必要とされている。また、利用者が容器を開けなくても容器の一部を介して容易に容器の内容物を目視できる特徴を備えた容器が必要とされていた。本発明は、携帯使用の場合に受けるストレスに十分耐えるだけ強く且つ利用者によって簡単に開けることができる実用的な閉鎖部を有する携帯型の薬容器を提供するものである。また、本発明は、容器を開けなくても容器内容物の一部を利用者が目視できる透明部を含む携帯型の容器を提供するものである。発明の概要本発明は、物を保管し表示する容器を含む。容器は、第１のベース部材と、第２のベース部材と、ヒンジ部とを有する。第１のベース部材は、外面と、内面と、周縁部と、透明領域とを有する。透明領域は、容器が閉鎖された位置で、容器内に収容される物が該透明領域を介して見えるように配置される。第２のベース部材は、外面と、内面と、周縁部とを有する。ヒンジ部は、第１と第２のベース部材を連結しており、これにより閉鎖位置と開放位置との間で、第１のベース部材は第２のベース部材に対して移動できる。閉鎖位置では、内部に収容される物を受ける中空の内部空間が形成される。閉鎖位置では、第１と第２のベース部材の周縁部が連結される。開放位置では、第１と第２のベース部材はヒンジ部を除いて連結が外れ、少なくとも一部において両者は離れる。第１と第２のベース部材は、閉鎖位置で解除自在に掛けがねが掛けられる。別の実施形態では、本発明は、物を保管する容器を含む。この容器は、第１のベース部材と、第２のベース部材と、ヒンジ部とを有する。第１のベース部材は、外面と、内面と、周縁部とを有する。第１のベース部材の周縁部は外側フランジを有し、これは第１のベース部材の外面に沿って広がり、第１のベース部材の周縁部から伸びている。第２のベース部材は、外面と、内面と、周縁部とを有する。第２のベース部材の周縁部は内側フランジを有し、これは第２のベース部材の内面に沿って広がり、第２のベース部材の周縁部から伸びている。ヒンジ部は第１と第２のベース部材を連結しており、閉鎖位置と開放位置との間で、第１のベース部材は第２のベース部材に対して移動できる。閉鎖位置では、内部に収容される物を受ける中空の内部空間が形成される。閉鎖位置では、外側フランジと内側フランジが重なる。開放位置では、第１と第２のベース部材はヒンジ部を除いて連結が外れ、少なくとも一部において両者は離れる。第１と第２のベース部材は、閉鎖位置で解除自在に掛けがねが掛けられる。図面の簡単な説明本発明の好適な実施形態の詳細な説明だけでなく、上述の概要は、添付図面を参照しながら読むことで、一層理解が深まるであろう。本発明を説明するために、好適な実施形態が図面に表してある。しかし、本発明は、図示するものとまったく同一の配置や手段に限定されるものでないと理解すべきである。図面では、同一の符号が複数の図面で同一の要素を示すために用いてある。図１は、閉鎖位置にある本発明にかかる容器の部分切断斜視図である。図２は、開放位置にある本発明にかかる容器の斜視図である。図３は、図１の３−３線に沿った部分拡大断面図である。図４は、図２の４−４線に沿った部分拡大断面図である。図５は、図２の５−５線に沿った一部正面及び一部断面を示す図である。図６は、図５の６−６線に沿った断面図である。図７は、図２に７−７線に沿った、開放位置にある容器の正面図である。図８は、図７の８−８線に沿った部分断面図である。図９は、図１の９−９線に沿った部分断面図である。好適な実施形態の詳細な説明以下の説明では、限定するためではなく、簡潔にするために、特定の語句が使用されている。「右」、「左」、「下」、及び「上」の語句は、参照符号を設けた図面の図１及び図２における方向を示すものである。「内方」及び「外方」は、容器及びその部分の幾何学的中心に向かう方向及びそれから離れる方向をそれぞれ示すものである。上記語句は、上述の用語、その派生語、及び類似の意味を含む用語を含むものである。図面を参照して詳細に説明すると、図１から９には、全体を符号１０で示す、本発明にかかる容器の好適な実施形態が示してある。容器１０は、第１のベース部材１２と、第２のベース部材１４と、ヒンジ部１６とを備えている。第１のベース部材は透明領域１８を有する。図面では、第１のベース部材１２を容器１０の上蓋、第２のベース部材１４を容器１０の底蓋として示してあるが、本説明に基づき、本発明の範囲から逸脱することなく、第１と第２のベース部材１２、１４は逆にしてもよいと理解すべきである。図１に示すように、閉鎖位置において、容器１０は、正方形、長方形、円形、六角形、三角形、楕円形などの種々の幾何学形状の任意の形状を採り得る。容器１０は、これがほぼ直角に隣り合う６つの面（但し、表面同士が隣り合う角部とコーナー部は丸みを付けるのが好ましい。）を含むように、全体がほぼ正方形又はほぼ長方形の平行形状とするのが好ましい。容器１０は各表面が長方形であるのがさらに好ましい。第１のベース部材１２と、第２のベース部材１４と、ヒンジ部１６は、任意の適当なパッケージ材料（金属、プラスチック、厚紙、及び類似の材料）で作られる。しかし、第１のベース部材１２と、第２のベース部材１４と、ヒンジ部１６は、例えば、ポリオレフィン、ポリスチレン、塩化ポリビニール、ポリアクリレート、ポリアセテート、及びそれらの共重合物、合成物、混合物を含む、成型可能な熱可塑性プラスチック又は熱硬化性高分子材料で作るのが好ましい。第１のベース部材１２と、第２のベース部材１４と、ヒンジ部１６は、ポリオレフィンのような、例えばポリプロピレン又はポリエチレンのような、再利用可能な熱可塑性材料で作るのがさらに好ましい。目下の所、好ましい材料としては、ポリプロピレンである。第１と第２のベース部材１２、１４は、透明領域１８を除いて不透明とするのが好ましい。不透明材料を使用したり、容器を形成するプラスチック材料に適当な染料や顔料を入れるなどの任意の適当な方法により、不透明とすることができる。目下のところ、プラスチック材料に酸化チタニウム白色顔料を混ぜるのが好ましい。もちろん、その他の顔料や染料や、染料や顔料及び他の色のキャリアを使用してもよい。透明領域１８は透明部材１８’であるのが好ましく、これは第１と第２のベース部材１２、１４から分離しており、第１のベース部材１２の領域１８（例えば、開口透明領域１８）に固定されている。透明領域１８は、容器内に収容される図１に示す物１９のような対象物が、容器を閉鎖した状態で、透明領域１８を介して見えるように配置する。物１９にほぼ近似した形状の大きさと形を有する透明部材１８’を通じては一つの物１９しか見えないのが好ましい。ただし、透明部材１８’は、必要ならば一以上の物が該透明部材を介して見える大きさや形としてもよい。透明部材１８’すなわち窓は、成型可能な透明熱可塑性プラスチック材料で作るのが好ましい。ここでいう「透明」とは、「半透明」の用語も含むものである。しかし、その材料は十分に光を伝達し、これにより透明部材１８’ を介して物を見る人が物１９の性質を識別できるものが好ましい。透明部材１８ ’は無色であるのが好ましいが、任意の適当な方法によって、透明部材１８’を形成する材料に、染料及び／又は顔料をコーティング、混合、調製することで、色を付けてもよい。例えば、ポリプロピレンやポリエチレンのホモポリマーやコポリマーなどの成型可能で再生可能なポリオレフィンにより窓１８’を作るのがさらに好ましい。現在のところ好適な窓１８’の材料は清澄ポリプロピレンである。透明部材１８’は開口した透明領域１８に任意の適当な方法で固定できる。透明部材１８’は第１のベース部材１２にスピン溶接するのが好ましい。これに代えて、透明部材１８’は第１のベース部材１２にインサート成型するのも好ましい。透明部材１８’はまた、一体成型技術のようなもので、第１のベース部材１２に一体的に形成してもよい。本説明から、透明部材１８’を第１のベース部材１２に固定するために、例えば、感熱接着剤又は感圧接着剤を含むその他の好適な方法を用いてもよいことが判るであろう。透明部材１８’と開口領域１８は、透明部材１８’が透明領域１８内に装着できるように、第１のベース部材に形成するのが好ましい。図３に示すように、透明領域１８は、透明部材１８’の対応する縁部１８ａ’に係合するように形造られた縁部１８ａを有するように成型してもよい。後に、縁部１８と１８ａは上述のようにして固定される。図１及び２に示すように、第１のベース部材１２と第２のベース部材１４は、容器１０が閉鎖位置にあるとき、第１のベース部材１２の周縁部２２と第２のベース部材１４の周縁部２０が連結するように形成されている。また、閉鎖位置では、図１に示す物１９のような一つの物、好ましくは多数の物を収容する中空の内部空間２１が形成される。ヒンジ部１６は第１のベース部材１２の周縁部２２と第２のベース部材１４の周縁部２０を連結し、これにより、図１に示す閉鎖位置と図２に示す開放位置との間で、第１のベース部材１２に対して第２のベース部材１４が移動可能としてある。開放位置では、第１と第２のベース部材１２、１４は、ヒンジ部１６を除いて連結が外れ、少なくとも一部が互いに離れている。ヒンジ部１６は任意の適当な形式のものでよく、周縁部２２、２０に沿った任意の位置で第１と第２のベース部材１２、１４が連結される。図１、２示すような、好適なほぼ長方形の容器では、ヒンジ１８は、以下に説明する任意の好適な掛けがね機構を有する容器１０の側面２４と反対側の容器１０の側面２３に設けるのが好ましい。容器１０は、第１と第２のベース部材１２、１４及びヒンジ部１６を含む単一の一体片として成型するのが好ましく、その場合、ヒンジ部１６と第１及び第２のベース部材１２、１４はすべて一体的に同一材料で形成される。本説明に基づいて、本発明の範囲から逸脱することなく、第１のベース部材１２又は第２のベース部材１４と同一又は異なる材料で別々に形成してもよいと理解すべきである。ヒンジ部１６を第１と第２のベース部材１２、１４に一体に成型する場合、ヒンジ部１６の長手方向平面に垂直な平面上で測定したヒンジ部１６の厚みが、第１と第２のベース部材１２、１４の周縁部２２、２０の横断方向に沿って測定したベース部材１２、１４の厚みよりも薄くするのが好ましい。ヒンジ部１６は、ヒンジ部１６の全長に亙って柔軟性を持たせるように薄くするのが好ましい。ヒンジ部１６が物に引っ掛ったり損傷しないように、ヒンジ部１６の一部が容器１０からはみ出るのを防止するために、図２に示すように、ヒンジ部１６はその長手方向の軸に沿って測った長さを同一方向に測った容器１０の長さよりも短くするのが好ましい。開放位置では、ヒンジ部１６は折れ曲がり、図４に示すように、第１と第２のベース部材の間には空間１７ができる。第１のベース部材１２の周縁部２０と第２のベース部材１４の周縁部２２は閉鎖位置で解放自在に掛けがねが掛けられる。掛けがね機構１７は、第１と第２のベース部材１２、１４の周縁部２０、２２を開放自在に留め、容器１０に物１９が保管されているとき、この物１９は容器１０の中で安全に保管される。本説明を考慮して、例えば第１と第２のベース部材１２、１４に連結部、スナップフィット装置、ラッチ、フック、及び類似の掛けがね又はロック装置を設けるなど、その他の好適な掛けがね機構を使用してもよい。以下に説明する連結フランジやスナップフィット構造を設けることで、周縁部２０、２４を開放自在に留めるようにしてもよく、そのような構造等は第１と第２のベース部材１２、１４の成型構造中に組み入れてもよい。第２のベース部材１４の周縁部２０は、第２のベース部材１４の周縁部２０から伸びる内側フランジ２５を設けるのが好ましい。内側フランジ２５の内面が第２のベース部材１４の内面２８に沿って広がるように、内側フランジ２５は第２のベース部材１４の一部として成型するのが好ましい。内側フランジ２５の外面３０は、第２のベース部材１４の周縁部２０に垂直な平面上に存在するのが好ましい。また、図２に示すように、内側フランジ２５は第２のベース部材１４の全周に延在するのが好ましい。第２のベース部材１４の周縁部２０が内側フランジ２５を含む場合、容器１０が閉鎖位置にあるとき、図９に示すように、内側フランジ２５が外側フランジ３２にしっかりと係合して重なるように形作られた外側フランジ３２を、第１のベース部材１２の周縁部２２に設けるのが好ましい。外側フランジ３２の外面３４が第１のベース部材１２の外面３６に沿って広がるように、外側フランジ３２は第１のベース部材１２の一部として成型するのが好ましい。外側フランジ３２の内面３８は、第１のベース部材１２の周縁部２２に垂直な平面に存在するのが好ましい。内側フランジ２５と同様に、外側フランジ３２は、図２に示すように、第１のベース部材１２の全周に延在するのが好ましい。内側フランジ２５と外側フランジ３２は互いに作用して、閉鎖位置で容器１０が確実に開放自在に掛け留めできるのを促進する。外側と内側のフランジ２５、３２は、容器１０が閉鎖位置にあるとき、これらフランジ２５と３２が重なるように形成するのが好ましい。容器１０が閉鎖位置にあるとき、外側フランジ３２と内側フランジ２５が確実に重なるように、第２のベース部材１４の周縁部２０から内側フランジ２５の縁４０に向かって測った内側フランジ２５の高さを、第１のベース部材１２の周縁部２２から外側フランジ３２の縁４２に向かって測った外側フランジ３２の高さと同一とするのが好ましい。第１のベース部材１２に設けた外側フランジ３２と第２のベース部材１４に設けた内側フランジ２５が図面に示してあるが、本発明の範囲から逸脱することなく、ベース部材１２、１４のいずれかにそれぞれ内側フランジ２５と外側フランジ３２が有ればよい。内側フランジ２５と外側フランジ３２は、内側と外側のフランジ２５、３２にそれぞれ設けた突起４４とノッチ４６を含むことで、互いにスナップフィットするように作るのが好ましい。図面では、突起４４を第１のベース部材上の外側フランジ３２の内面３２に設け、ノッチを第２のベース部材上の内側フランジ２５の外面３０に設けてあるが、逆にしても同様に効果的である。ノッチ４６は、容器１０が閉鎖位置にあるとき、突起４４を受けるように形成するのが好ましい。このように、ノッチ４６と突起４４は、それらが互いに一列に並ぶようにフランジ２５、３２上に配置すべきである。ノッチ４６と突起４４は、横から見たときに、円形、正方形、長方形、三角形などの任意の形を採り得る。図２及び図５から９に示すように、突起４４は隆起したほぼ長方形とするのが好ましい。図２及び図５から９に示すように、ノッチ４６は窪んだ長方形とするのが好ましい。ノッチ４６と突起４４はそれらが設けてある対応する第１又は第２のベース部材１２、１４の一部として成型するのが好ましいが、これらは接着剤又はその他の類似の方法によって取り付けられた別部材であってもよい。フランジ２５、３２の掛具合は、第１のベース部材の内面５２の少なくとも一部５０から内側に配置された少なくとも一つの平坦部材４８を設けることで高められる。平坦部材４８の長手方向の平面はまた、図６に示すように、ヒンジ部１６の反対側に対向する容器１０の側部２４の一部である第１のベース部材１２の内面５２の少なくとも一部５０にほぼ平行であるのが好ましい。本実施形態において、ほぼ平行とは、平坦部材４８と第１のベース部材１２の内面５２の一部５０との間の傾斜角度が約１０°である場合も含まれる。平坦部材４８は任意の好適な形状としてもよい。図２と５に示すように、平坦部材は、外側フランジ３２の形状を補充する形状であるのが好ましい。図２と５に示すように、平坦部材４８は曲がった外形を有し、それは掛けがね機構１７のごく近傍にある外側フランジ３２の曲がった外形にほぼ対応している。図２と５に示すように、一以上の同じ広がりを有する平坦部材４８が存在するのが好ましく、平坦部材４８は第１のベース部材１２の一体化された一部として成型するのが好ましい。図６に示すように、容器１０が閉鎖位置にあるとき、平坦部材４８と外側フランジ３２の内面３８との間に内側フランジ２５を受ける溝５４を形成するように、容器１０の内側の内方に平坦部材４８が配置される。外側フランジ３２の内面３８と平坦部材４８の外面５６との間の溝５４は、内側フランジ２５の縁４０を横切る内側フランジの厚みにほぼ相当する幅とするのが好ましい。溝５４はまた、内側フランジ２５の高さに相当する深さを有するのが好ましい。平坦部材４８は、容器１０を閉鎖したときに、重なり合うフランジ２５、３２を確実に支持し、ベース部材１２、１４を互いにしっかりと留める機能を果たす。平坦部材４８はまた、容器１０を閉鎖したときに、外側フランジ３２に対して内側フランジ２５を所定の場所に保持する。また、突起４４とノッチ４６を平坦部材４８と一緒に使用すると、平坦部材４８はスムーズにかつ正確に内側フランジ２５を溝５４に案内し、これにより容器１０を閉じると突起４４とノッチ４６が容易に係合する。一度閉鎖すると、平坦部材は突起４４とノッチ４６をそれらの係合位置に支持して、容器１０が不容易に開くのを防止する。突起４４とノッチ４６は、平坦部材４８が両側からノッチ４６と突起４４を安定して支持するように、２つの平坦部材４８の間の空間５８に設けるのが好ましい。図６に示すように、ノッチ４６と突起４４を平坦部材４８と一緒に使用すると、内側フランジ２５の縁４０が突起４４を通って溝５４に容易に案内されるように、平坦部材４８の外面５６はわずかに傾斜させるのが好ましい。閉鎖位置にある容器１０は、図１、２、及び７に示すように、第１のベース部材１２の外面３６に触感部６０を設けると共に、第２のベース部材１４の外面６４に触感部６２を設けることで、簡単に開けることができるようになる。本説明に基づいて、ベース部材１２、１４の外面の任意の部分に触感部を設けることで、容器１０を容易に開けることができる。これに代えて、又はベース部材の一方又は両方に触感外面部分を設けることに加えて、第１又は第２のベース部材１２、１４の一方の外面３６、６４の一部６６を内側に窪ませ、他方のベース部材の窪んでいない外面の周縁部６８を、張り出し部６８を有する窪み部分６６よりも外側に伸ばしてもよい。この張り出し部により容器が容易に開けられる。図１、２、７、及び９に示すように、第２のベース部材１４の触感部６２は、第２のベース部材１４の外面６４に窪んだ部分又は窪み６６を形成するようにへこませてある。第１のベース部材１２の外面３６の対応する触感部６０は窪んでいない。第１のベース部材１２の周縁部２２の一部６８は、窪み６６の領域で、第２のベース部材１４の外面６４の窪んだ触感部６２の周縁部２０を越えて外側に伸びている。伸ばされた周縁部６８により、容器１０を開けるために手の力を加える場
