Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.生物の身体内の固体の質量を間質加熱する医療装置にして、 尖った末端を有する細長い、剛性な器具であって、前記尖った末端により形成 された前記固体の質量体の穿刺部を通じて前記固体の質量体内に挿入可能な構造 とされた前記器具と、 前記細長い、剛性な器具に係合可能な構造とされた細長いスリーブであって、 前記固体の質量体の穿刺部を通じて前記固体の質量体内に挿入可能であり且つ前 記固体の質量体内に伸長し得る構造とされた前記細長いスリーブと、 前記細長いスリーブの末端の付近に配置された膨張可能なチャンバと、 前記細長いスリーブ内に配置された少なくとも一つの通路であって、前記チャ ンバが前記固体の質量体内で間質内に配置されている間に、前記チャンバを膨張 させる流体を前記膨張可能なチャンバに供給する前記少なくとも一つの通路と、 前記チャンバに前記流体が充填されている間に、前記チャンバ内の流体を加熱 すべく、前記膨張可能なチャンバ内に配置された加熱装置と、 前記細長いスリーブ内に配置された少なくとも一つの細長い導体であって、前 記チャンバが前記固体の質量内に間質的に配置され且つ前記流体で充填されてい る間に、前記加熱装置を駆動し得るように、前記加熱装置に接続された前記細長 い導体とを備えることを特徴とする医療装置。 2.請求項1に記載の医療装置にして、前記細長い剛性な器具が針を備えるこ とを特徴とする医療装置。 3.請求項1に記載の医療装置にして、前記細長い剛性な器具がトロカールを 備えることを特徴とする医療装置。 4.請求項1に記載の医療装置にして、前記細長い剛性な器具及び前記細長い スリーブが、分離して且つ独立的な要素であることを特徴とする医療装置。 5.請求項1に記載の医療装置にして、前記細長いスリーブが前記細長い剛性 な器具の上に直接、取り付けられることを特徴とする医療器具。 6.請求項1に記載の医療装置にして、前記細長いスリーブが、前記細長い剛 性な器具に摺動可能に係合し得る構造とされることを特徴とする医療器具。 7.請求項6に記載の医療装置にして、前記細長いスリーブが、前記細長い器 具を貫通して長手方向に伸長する通路を有し、該通路が、前記細長い剛性な器具 に摺動可能に係合するのに適した寸法を有することを特徴とする医療器具。 8.請求項1に記載の医療器具にして、前記膨張可能なチャンバがバルーンを 備えることを特徴とする医療装置。 9.請求項1に記載の医療装置にして、前記膨張可能なチャンバが前記細長い スリーブの上に直接、取り付けられることを特徴とする医療装置。 10.請求項1に記載の医療装置にして、前記加熱装置が、前記チャンバ内の抵 抗性通路内に電流を流すことにより、前記膨張可能なチャンバ内の前記流体を加 熱することを特徴とする医療装置。 11.請求項10に記載の医療装置にして、前記加熱装置が、複数の電極を有し 、前記細長いスリーブを貫通して伸長する複数の細長い導体が設けられ、前記チ ャンバに導電性の流体が充填されている間に、前記導体が、前記複数の導体のそ れぞれの一つに接続されて、前記電極間に高周波の電力を提供し得るようにされ 、これにより、前記流体が、該流体を流れる電流の抵抗損失により加熱されるよ うにしたことを特徴とする医療装置。 12.生物の身体内の固体の質量を間質加熱する方法にして、 尖った末端により形成された前記固体の質量体の穿刺部を通じて該尖った末端 を有する細長い、剛性な器具を前記固体の質量体内に挿入するステップと、 前記固体の質量体の前記穿剌部を通じて前記細長い、剛性な器具に係合する細 長いスリーブを前記固体の質量体内に挿入するステップと、 前記細長いスリーブの末端付近に配置された膨張可能なチャンバに対して前記 細長いスリーブ内に配置された少なくとも一つの通路を通じて流体を提供して、 前記チャンバが前記固体の質量体内に配置されている間に、該チャンバを膨張さ せるステップと、 前記チャンバが前記流体で充填され且つ前記固体の質量体内に間質的に配置さ れている間に、前記細長いスリーブ内に配置された少なくとも一つの細長い導体 を通じて、前記膨張可能なチャンバ内に配置され且つ前記少なくとも一つの細長 い導体に接続された加熱装置を駆動して、前記チャンバ内の流体を加熱するステ ップとを備えることを特徴とする方法。 13.請求項12に記載の方法にして、前記チャンバが前記固体の質量体内に配 置されている間に、前記チャンバを膨張させるために前記膨張可能なチャンバに 流体を提供する前記ステップにより、前記チャンバを取り巻く組織が変位される ようにしたことを特徴とする方法。 14.請求項13に記載の方法にして、前記組織が変位する結果、前記組織が圧 縮して虚血状態とされるようにしたことを特徴とする方法。 15.請求項13に記載の方法にして、前記細長いスリーブを固体の質量体内に 挿入する前記ステップが、壊死させるべき組織に栄養供給する栄養供給血管の付 近の位置に前記チャンバを配置することを含み、 前記流体を前記膨張可能なチャンバに提供して、前記チャンバを膨張させる前 記ステップ、及び前記加熱装置を駆動する前記ステップの結果、前記栄養供給血 管が閉塞されて、前記栄養供給血管の該閉塞により、前記組織が壊死するように したことを特徴とする方法。 16.請求項12に記載の方法にして、前記チャンバが前記固体の質量体内に間 質的に配置されている間に、固体の質量体内の組織を改質させるべく前記チャン バが冷却するのを許容するステップを更に備えることを特徴とする方法。 17.請求項12に記載の方法にして、非侵襲型の超音波により、前記固体の質 量体の間質加熱を監視するステップを更に備えることを特徴とする方法。 18.請求項12に記載の方法にして、前記固体の質量体の間質加熱の処方量パ ラメータとして、前記膨張可能なチャンバに供給される前記流体の量を監視する ステップを更に備えることを特徴とする方法。 19.請求項12に記載の方法にして、カラー流れドップラー画像法により前記 固体の質量体内の虚血状態を監視するステップを更に備えることを特徴とする方 法。 20.生物の身体内の固体の質量を間質加熱する方法にして、 尖った末端により形成された前記固体の質量体穿刺部を通じて該尖った末端を 有する細長い、剛性な器具を前記固体の質量体内に挿入するステップと、 前記固体の質量体の穿剌部を通じて前記細長い、剛性な器具に係合する細長い スリーブを前記固体の質量体内に挿入するステップと、 前記チャンバが前記固体の質量体内に間質的に配置されている間に、前記細長 いスリーブ内の末端付近の位置に配置された膨張可能なチャンバに対して前記細 長いスリーブ内に配置された少なくとも一つの通路を通じて流体を提供して、前 記チャンバを膨張させて、前記チャンバを取り巻く組織を圧縮して虚血状態にす るステップと、 前記チャンバが前記流体で充填され且つ前記固体の質量体内に間質的に配置さ れている間に、前記細長いスリーブ内に配置された少なくとも一つの細長い導体 を通じて、前記膨張可能なチャンバ内に配置され且つ前記少なくとも一つの細長 い導体に接続された加熱装置を駆動して、前記チャンバ内の流体を加熱するステ ップとを備え、前記加熱装置が駆動される間に、前記チャンバを取り巻く前記組 織の圧縮虚血状態により、前記組織の吸熱効果が軽減されるようにしたことを特 徴とする方法。
