Abstract

Claims (3)
- 近位部及び遠位部を有するとともに、前記近位部及び遠位部で細長い構造体の外部と連通する少なくとも1つの第一ルーメンと、前記近位部及び遠位部で細長い構造体の外部と連通する少なくとも1つの第二ルーメンと、を画定して、前記第一ルーメン及び第二ルーメンがスルールーメンであり且つ前記遠位部で第一の注入ポート及び第二の注入ポートを終端する、少なくとも1つの細長い構造体と、
患者との身体との熱交換を生じさせるために少なくとも前記遠位部に沿って延在する少なくとも1つの熱交換要素と、を備えるカテーテルであって、
当該カテーテルは、動作時において血管を閉塞することなく、血管内に配置されることを特徴とするカテーテル。 - 中心静脈ラインアクセスを確立するように構成されて、近位部及び遠位部を有するとともに、前記近位部で細長い構造体の外部と連通する少なくとも1つの第一ルーメンを画定する少なくとも1つの細長い構造体と、
中心静脈システムとの熱交換を生じさせるために少なくとも前記遠位部に沿って延在して、前記第一ルーメンを通じて熱交換流体を受け取る少なくとも1つの熱交換要素と、
熱交換流体を運ぶことがない第二ルーメンと、を備えるカテーテルであって、
1つ以上の中心静脈コンポーネントと流体連通可能である第二ルーメンを通じて、薬剤が注入されるか血液が採取されることを特徴とするカテーテル。 - 中心静脈ラインアクセスを確立するように構成されて、近位部及び遠位部を有するとともに、前記近位部で細長い構造体の外部と連通する少なくとも1つの第一ルーメンと、前記近位部で細長い構造体の外部と連通する少なくとも1つの第二ルーメンと、を画定する少なくとも1つの細長い構造体と、
前記細長い構造体と係合して、前記第一ルーメンから熱交換流体を受け取り、患者との熱交換を生じさせるために少なくとも前記遠位部に沿って延在し、前記第二ルーメンを通じて熱交換流体を戻させる複数の中空の細長い熱交換要素と、を備えることを特徴とするカテーテル。
