Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.子宮鏡子宮内膜除去を行うときに使用する流体送出装置であって、 複数の流体レベルを示す目盛表示を有する既知の容積のチャンバと、 このチャンバと流体連通する生理的適合性溶液の容器と、 この容器から前記チャンバ内への、生理的適合性溶液の流れを制御するため の第1の弁と、 前記チャンバの下流側に配置され、内部を通る流体流を加熱するヒータと、 前記チャンバとヒータとの間に配置された第1の導管と、 加熱された生理的適合性溶液を患者の子宮腔内に導入可能で入口ポートと出 口ポートとを備えた子宮鏡シースと、 前記ヒータと前記シースの入口ポートとを接続する充填チューブと、 前記シースの出口ポートからの排出のチューブと、 前記シースから排出された流体を内部に収集するように排出チューブに接続 された収集手段と、 この収集手段と流体連通する流体ポンプ手段と、 前記ポンプと前記チャンバとの間で、閉ループ循環システムを形成する第2 の導管と、 この第2の導管と流体連通して配置され、多量の生理的適合性溶液を収容す る収集ボトルと、 この第2の導管内で、収集ボトルと前記チャンバとの間に配置され、前記チ ャンバ内への流体流を制御する第2の弁と、 この収集ボトルから前記第2の導管内への流体流を制御する第3の弁とを、 備える装置。 2.前記子宮鏡シース内に流れ込む流体の温度をモニタするために、前記ヒータ と関連して作動可能に配置された温度モニタを更に備える請求の範囲第1項に記 載のシステム。 3.前記流体ポンプ手段は、ぜん動ポンプである請求の範囲第1項に記載のシス テム。 4.前記収集手段は、前記排出チューブに近接して配置された上端からポンプ手 段に近接して配置された下端に向けて下方に角度を付けられた第2のチャンバで ある請求の範囲第1項に記載のシステム。 5.前記チャンバは、患者よりも3乃至4フィート(約90から122センチメ ートル)高い位置に配置されている請求の範囲第4項に記載のシステム。 6.前記チャンバはエアベント弁を備えている請求の範囲第1項に記載のシステ ム。 7.前記エアベント弁と、第1の弁、第2の弁及び第3の弁は、同期作動するた めに単一のロータリ弁からなる請求の範囲第6項に記載のシステム。 8.前記第1及び第2の導管と、前記充填および排出チューブと、前記収集手段 とは、絶縁されたチューブで形成されている請求の範囲第1項に記載のシステム 。 9.前記チャンバ内に配置され、内部の流体のレベルを検出し、所定の最小値よ りも流体レベルが低下したときに信号を形成するセンサを更に含む請求の範囲第 1項に記載のシステム。 10.前記センサに接続され、前記信号を受取り、このシステムの作動を停止する スイッチを更に備える請求の範囲第9項に記載のシステム。 11.内視鏡子宮内膜除去を行うときに使用する流体の再循環および加熱方法であ って、 複数の流体レベルを示す目盛表示を有し、エア弁を設けられた既知の容積の チャンバと、 このチャンバと流体連通する生理的適合性溶液の容器と、 この容器から前記チャンバ内への、生理的適合性溶液の流れを制御するため の第1の弁と、 前記チャンバの下流側に配置され、内部を通る流体流を加熱するヒータと、 前記上側チャンバとヒータとの間に配置された第1の導管と、 加熱された生理的適合性溶液を患者の子宮腔内に導入可能で入口ポートと出 口ポートとを設けた子宮鏡シースと、 前記ヒータと前記シースの入口ポートとを接続する充填チューブと、 前記シースの出口ポートから排出する排出チューブと、 前記シースから排出された流体を内部に収集するようにこの排出チューブに接 続された収集手段と、 この収集手段と流体連通する流体ポンプ手段と、 前記ポンプと前記チャンバとの間で、閉ループ循環システムを形成する第2 の導管と、 この第2の導管と流体連通して配置され、多量の生理的適合性溶液を収容す る収集ボトルと、 この第2の導管内で、収集ボトルと前記チャンバとの間に配置され、前記チ ャンバ内への流体流を制御する第2の弁と、 この収集ボトルから前記第2の導管内への流体流を制御する第3の弁と、を 含む再循環システムを準備し、 前記チャンバ内のエア弁と前記第2の弁とを閉じ、かつ、前記第1及び第3 の弁を開き、 生理的適合性溶液を前記容器から前記チャンバと前記第1の導管と前記ヒー タとに流通可能とし、 前記ヒータを作動して内部を流れる溶液を加熱し、 この加熱された溶液が前記子宮鏡シースを充填し、前記子宮腔内に循環し、 前記出口ポートを通して排出可能とし、 この排出された溶液を、内部に収集されるように、前記収集手段内に排出可 能とし、 前記ポンプ手段を作動して、前記収集手段から収集された流体を吸引して前 記第2の導管内に圧送し、 この圧送された液体を、このシステムおよび子宮腔が全体的に前記生理的適 合性溶液で充填されるまで、前記収集ボトル内に流入可能とし、 前記第1及び第3の弁を閉じかつ前記第2弁と前記チャンバのエア弁とを開 き、圧送された溶液を前記チャンバ内に流入させ、続いてこのシステムを通して 再循環させる方法。 12.更に、前記チャンバ内の液体のレベルをモニタし、このレベルが比較的一定 に維持されることを確保する工程を備える請求の範囲第11項に記載の方法。 13.更に、前記上部チャンバ内の溶液レベルが減少し始めたときに、このシステ ムを介する溶液の循環を停止し、患者がこの溶液を吸収するのを防止する請求の 範囲第12項に記載の方法。 14.経子宮鏡的子宮内膜切除に用いる生理的適合性溶液を再循環するためのシス テムであって、 第1の端部と第2の端部とを有し、この第1端部が子宮鏡シースの入口ポー トに取り付けられ、第2端部が子宮鏡シースの出口ポートに取り付けられ閉ルー プ流体システムを形成する第1の流体導管と、 生理的適合性溶液源と、 この溶液源と、前記子宮鏡シースの上流側位置における前記導管とに流体連 通し、生理的適合性溶液の一部を収容するチャンバと、 前記導管中で前記チャンバとシースとの間に配置されたヒータと、 前記シースの下流側で前記導管中に配置されたポンプ手段と、 このポンプ手段と前記チャンバとの間の位置で前記導管と流体連通する収集 ボトルと、 それぞれ前記溶液源とチャンバとの間、前記ポンプと前記チャンバとの間、 および、前記収集ボトルと導管との間の流体流を制御する第1、第2および第3 弁の手段とを備えるシステム。 15.前記流体導管は、絶縁されたチューブで形成される請求の範囲第14項に記 載のシステム。 16.患者の子宮腔に流体送出を必要とする子宮鏡処置に用いる流体送出システム であって、 患者の子宮腔内に大きさが既知の生理的適合性流体の第1の流れを導く第1 導管と、 子宮腔から前記流体の第2の流れを導出する第2導管と、 この流体の第2の流れの大きさを測定し、この第2の流れの大きさと前記第 1の流れの既知の大きさとの間の差を定める手段と、 この差がプリセット値を越えたときに前記流れの流れを停止する手段と、を 備えるシステム。 17.更に、液体の第1流れを加熱する手段を備える請求の範囲第16項に記載の システム。
