Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.液体から種を捕獲する方法において、 磁気的に誘引可能であり、かつ、前記種に対して親和性を有する粒子を磁力に より固体支持部材に誘引する工程と、 前記固体支持部材上の前記粒子を前記液体に接触させ、前記種を前記固体支持 部材上の前記粒子上に捕獲する工程と、を有する方法。 2.前記粒子に接触する前記液体の容量が、前記固体支持部材により占められる 容量の少なくとも5倍以上の倍率で大きい請求項1記載の方法。 3.前記倍率は少なくとも50倍である請求項2記載の方法。 4.前記液体を、前記固体支持部材上の前記粒子上を通り越えるように繰り返し 再循環させ、前記種を前記固体支持部材上の前記粒子上に捕獲する請求項1乃至 3のいずれかに記載の方法。 5.前記固体支持部材は、超常磁性物質又は強磁性物質により構成され、前記磁 界の印加により前記物質内に磁力が発生する請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の 方法。 6.前記磁界は電磁石により発生し、前記電磁石を弱めることにより前記磁力を 減じる請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の方法。 7.前記電磁石は、前記固体支持部材を収納する極間隙を有する磁石鉄心と、前 記極間隙から離間した位置で前記磁石鉄心の周りに巻 かれた電磁コイルと、を備える請求項6記載の方法。 8.前記粒子は、強磁性粒子又は超常磁性粒子である請求項1乃至7のいずれか に記載の方法。 9.前記粒子は、抗体、抗体と特異的に反応可能なエピトープを有する物質、核 酸又は核酸の類似体配列、ビオチン、アビジン、又は、ストレプトアビジンを運 ぶ請求項1乃至8のいずれかに記載の方法。 10.捕獲されるべき前記種は、水により運ばれる生物である請求項1乃至9の いずれかに記載の方法。 11.前記磁力を減じて、前記粒子を前記固体支持部材から遊離させる工程を有 する請求項1乃至10のいずれかに記載の方法。 12.請求項1乃至11のいずれかに記載の方法により、分析の対象とすべき、 又は、分析に使用すべき種を捕獲する工程と、 捕獲された種について、又は、種を使用して分析を行う工程と、を備える分析 方法。 13.前記分析は、電気回転分析である請求項12記載の方法。 14.液体からの種の捕獲において使用される装置において、 前記液体のリザーバと、 磁界源と、 液体の循環のためのポンプと、 前記リザーバから前記ポンプを通って前記リザーバに戻る液体流 路を規定する手段と、を備え、 前記磁界源は前記流路の外部に位置し、前記流路は、前記磁界源により印加さ れる磁界によって磁化可能な固体支持部材を有する装置。 15.液体からの種の捕獲において使用される装置において、 内部に前記液体を流す導管と、 前記導管内に配置され、磁界が誘導される固体支持部材と、 前記導管の外部に配置され、前記固体支持部材に磁界を誘導する磁界源と、 前記固体支持部材上に配置され、磁気的に誘引可能であり、前記種と親和性を 有する粒子と、を備える装置。
