Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cooling effect for an electric parts without degrading the performance of an air conditioner by regulating the air passage resistance in an electric equipment unit by an outside air guide plate to branch a suction flow passage to unify the flow of the sucked outside air. SOLUTION: The outside air is sucked from a suction port of an enclosure provided on the outer contour of the enclosure by driving a fan of an outdoor unit enclosure of an air conditioner, and the air is sucked from a suction port 13 into an electric equipment box 6 in which the electric equipment 6a is stored. A horizontal division wall 16 to shield the heat generated from an electronic parts 15 is provided between an electronic control substrate 14 and the electronic parts 15. The sucked outside air is led to the position where electric equipment 6a is closely arranged in a branched manner by an outside air guide plate 17 provided on the horizontal division wall 16, and the air after cooling each electric parts 6a, is discharged from a discharge port 18 to a fan chamber. 従来の一般的な手段として、送風機2の回転数を上げ風
量を増加させる、若しくはインバータによって駆動して
いる圧縮機4の運転周波数を低下させて、発熱量を抑制
する手段を用いるため、空気調和機としての空気調和能
力の低下、若しくは、空気調和機の運転時の騒音を、増
大させていた。

れている。14は上記室外機の送風機2等の動作を制御
する上記電装品6aを実装した電子制御基板で、上記電
気品箱体6の上部に配置されている。15は上記電子制
御基板14に実装されない発熱する電子部品で、上記電
気品箱体6の下部に配置されている。16は上記電子制
御基板14と上記電子部品15との間に設け、電子部品
の発熱を遮断する区画水平壁で、上記電気品箱体6の中
間に配置されている。17はこの区画水平壁に設け上記
電気品箱体8内の風路抵抗を調整するための外気案内板
で、通常通風による冷却が行われにくい空気抵抗の大き
な箇所、例えば各電装品6aの密集位置に分岐誘導する
よう断面コの字状に形成している。18は上記電気品箱
体8内に取り込んで外気案内板17により分岐誘導され
た外気を排出するための排気口で、上記電気品箱体6の
吸気口13とは対向する一側に開口してもうけている。
