A ballpoint pen containing ink provided with a shear-thinning viscosity that provides a clear handwriting with a smooth writing feel keeps the ink at a high viscosity in a static state. When the ball rotates, the ink that is in contact with the ball surface has a shearing action, which instantaneously lowers the viscosity and changes to fluid ink.Assuming that a shock has been applied to the refill or ballpoint pen, In the form of a refill or a ballpoint pen such as the type shown in FIG. A shift occurs on the contact surface between the ink and the ink, causing the entire ink to oscillate. It will be pressurized become the impact force to the ball. In the case of an ink follower, its viscosity and physical properties such as wettability with the inner wall of the ink container can be compensated for, but those that support the impact load on the ball can be held by swaging the tip edge that holds the ball. Because it is only power
If the impact force exceeds the ball holding force, the ball will ride over the leading edge and fall out.

Therefore, the above-mentioned refill and ball-point pen have no problem when used as a cap-type ball-point pen which is carried in a state in which the chip is directed upward, but this is used as a refill. When it is used in the barrel of a knock-type ballpoint pen whose writing part appears and disappears from the tip of the open barrel that is carried in the state of the above, the ball falls off due to the impact at the time of the indentation operation and the impact applied during carrying, Unless you notice it, your clothes will be stained with ink, so it has never been used as a refill for knock-on ballpoint pens.

[0006] However, the present invention uses a knock-type ballpoint pen which is carried by inserting a chip in a pocket or the like of a garment with the chip facing downward using an ink provided with a shear thinning property capable of obtaining a smooth writing feel and clear handwriting. It is intended to appear as a refill that can be used as a refill and that matches a luxury exterior design. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the ball from falling off due to the impact force applied when the chip is facing downward, and to completely prevent the ink from leaking (dropping) from the tip of the chip, and to prevent the ink from flowing out from the tip of the chip even if the ball drops. It is an object of the present invention to build a ballpoint pen refill mechanism that can be used.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and an ink container having a small-diameter portion opening at the front end and a large-diameter portion opening at the rear end is provided. An ink having a high viscosity in a static state, but having a reduced viscosity due to rotation of the ball during writing, and an ink follower at the rear of the ink that follows ink consumption and prevents ink backflow. The ball-point pen tip is fitted in the tip hole of the small-diameter portion, and a coil spring for constantly pressing the ball is provided directly or via a movable member on the inner wall surface of the caulking portion at the tip edge for holding the ball. In a ball-point pen refill in which a tail plug provided with a ventilation means at the rear end of the large-diameter portion is fitted, the ink container is formed of a metal material, and an ink flow passage penetrating in the axial direction is formed. A partition member having a front end surface serving as a spring receiving portion for supporting a rear end of a coil spring for pressing a ball, and having an opening portion of an ink flow passage for regulating an ink flow amount formed as a rear end surface; By disposing the ink in the connecting portion between the small-diameter portion where the ball-point pen tip is fitted and the large-diameter portion for storing the ink, it is possible to prevent the ink from oscillating due to the impact and to prevent the ball from falling off. More preferably, the ink flow path of the partition member is opened at the front end face and does not reach the rear end face, an ink flow hole, and a lateral groove drilled toward the axis in the radial direction communicating with the ink flow hole, The partition member is formed by a vertical groove extending in the axial direction communicating with the lateral groove and the rear end face, and the ink containing cylinder containing the plastic groove is plastically deformed in a point or linear manner from the outside toward the axial center. A means for integrally fixing to the storage cylinder is added.

In the ball-point pen refill having such a structure, even if an impact is applied when the tip is in the downward state and the ink swings, the rear end face of the partition member receives most of the impact pressure due to the ink's own weight. The ink load from the opening that regulated the impact load was further reduced by the bent ink flow path formed by the vertical groove and the horizontal groove, and the impact pressure applied to the ball could be made very small. The fear of the ball dropping due to the impact has been resolved.

In the present invention, when manufacturing a ball-point pen tip of a ball-point pen refill having such a configuration, a crimping jig is pressed against a leading edge of the ball-point refill in a state where the ball is positioned in a ball house, and the ball-pressed portion is pressed against the ball. Perform caulking to form the inner wall surface of the caulking part into a spherical surface of the same shape as the ball, then hammer ring the upper surface of the ball exposed from the leading edge with a hammer rod, and plastically deform the ball seat by a predetermined amount toward the rear end to obtain the ball house. A manufacturing means for securing a clearance with the ball in the inside is used. Thereby, as a refill used for a knock-type ball-point pen in which the chip is carried in a downward state and left for a long time, it completely prevents ink leakage (dripping) from the tip of the chip, that is, holds the ball. The function of the valve mechanism is perfected by the close contact between the inner wall surface formed into a spherical surface having the same shape as the ball at the tip edge caulking portion and the ball pressed by the coil spring with the movable member interposed therebetween. Further, the rolled and crimped leading edge produces an effect of strengthening the holding force of the ball by work hardening as compared with the leading edge formed by ordinary caulking.

As described above, the risk of the ball dropping off due to the impact is eliminated by using the partition member. However, as the ball diameter becomes smaller, the thickness of the tip edge holding the ball becomes thinner and the tip becomes smaller. Since the amount of exposure of the ball from the rim is also small,
The fear that the leading edge wears and the ball falls at the time of paper contact at the time of writing is not completely wiped out even if these measures are taken. Therefore, the present invention is intended for perfection by taking measures to prevent ink from flowing out from the tip of the chip even if the ball falls. That is, the ink penetrating hole penetrating through the rear hole of the above-described ball-point pen tip is provided at a predetermined length in the axial direction so that the opening with the rear hole is kept in a perfect circle, and the ball is pressed. A movable member is interposed between the coil spring and the movable member, the ball pressing portion including the tip portion having a diameter smaller than the diameter of the ink conducting hole of the tip abutting the tip surface on the ball surface, and the ink passage on the outer periphery. The rear end face is formed with an ink rectifying portion that contacts the coil spring.Furthermore, the connecting portion that connects the ball pressing portion to the core portion whose front end portion is larger than the ink conducting hole diameter toward the ink rectifying portion is formed on a tapered surface. By forming the ball, ink is prevented from flowing out from the tip of the tip when the ball falls off. That is, when the ball falls, the movable member moves forward toward the tip of the tip, and the ink conduction hole opening provided in the above-described perfect circle of the ballpoint pen tip comes into contact with the tapered surface of the connecting portion provided in the movable member. The mechanism prevents the ink from flowing out of the tip of the tip.

The means for preventing the ink from flowing out from the tip of the chip due to the falling off of the ball is not limited to the above-mentioned means which is simply required. A similar effect can be obtained if a valve mechanism is formed in which the periphery of the opening where the hole opens at the rear hole and the contact portion provided on the ball pressing portion of the movable member resiliently urged by the coil spring abut against each other and come into close contact with the circumference. It is obtained.

The ink container 1 is made of a metallic material, for example, formed by drawing stainless steel or brass material by drawing, or by drawing a pipe material of the same material only at the tip, and is opened at the tip. It has a small-diameter portion 11 and a large-diameter portion 12 opening at the rear end, has a volume capable of accommodating a considerable amount of the ink 2 and the ink follower 3, and can be formed into a small-diameter outer diameter. 1a is formed with an inner diameter to be fitted with the ballpoint pen tip 4, and a large diameter portion is formed with an inner diameter with which the tail plug 5 is fitted. Although the ink container in FIG. 1 is formed from a small diameter portion to a large diameter portion, a medium diameter portion may be formed between the small diameter portion and the large diameter portion (not shown). This is a refill used for a ballpoint pen that has a structure in which a refill that is resiliently spring-repelled and stored in a rear end direction within a shaft cylinder can be drawn easily in a shaft cylinder, and is connected from a small diameter part to a medium diameter part. The stepped portion is used as the spring receiving portion (not shown).

The partition member 9 employs the ink 2 imparted with shear-thinning, and is used in the present invention as a refill of a knock-type ball-point pen which carries the chip in a downward state. As a result, the viscosity of the ink that is in contact with the inner wall of the ink container 1 is instantaneously reduced, and the weight of the ink becomes an impact force. When the tip is in the downward state, the ball 6 hits directly and the ball jumps out. The partition member is a member provided in order to prevent the accident. Therefore, the position of the small diameter portion 11 and the large diameter portion in the embodiment are preferably disposed in the ink containing cylinder behind the mounting position of the ball-point pen tip 4 and as close to the front end as possible. It is set in the connecting portion 1b where the diameter portion 12 is connected.

As shown in FIG. 2, the partition member 9 has a tip portion 9b located inside the small-diameter portion 11 of the ink container 1 and a large-diameter portion 1
2, the front end 9b has a front end surface serving as a spring receiving portion 9a for supporting the rear end of the coil spring 7, and is opened at the front end surface and does not penetrate to the rear end surface 9d. 9e communicates with the rear end 9c, and at the rear end, as shown in the sectional view of FIG. 3, a lateral groove 9f formed in the radial direction communicating with the ink circulation hole 9e toward the axis, and the lateral groove 9f. A vertical groove 9g is provided to regulate the amount of ink flow that opens at the rear end face in communication with the ink. As a result, the ink 2 oscillated by the impact is buffered by the rear end face 9d of the partition member 9 , and the pressure from the opening of the ink flow passage is further buffered by the wall of the bent lateral groove 9f connected to the ink flow hole 9e. Therefore, the impact force exerted on the ball 6 was extremely weak, and the fear of the ball falling off due to the impact was eliminated.

In the ball-point pen refill of the present invention, the first role played by the above-mentioned ball-point pen tip 4 is that ink leakage (dripping) from the tip of the tip is carried even when the tip is carried downward or left for a long time. It can be completely prevented. In other words, the inner wall surface 4
Since f is formed on the same spherical surface as the ball 6, the ball pressed by the coil spring 7 with the movable member interposed therebetween comes into close contact with the inner wall surface of the caulked portion, thereby preventing the ink from leaking from the tip of the chip. Complete. The means for forming the inner wall surface of the tip edge caulking portion into a spherical surface of the same shape as the ball is not limited to the aforementioned manufacturing means,
The chip is suitable for medium- and low-viscosity inks having a relatively small clearance Q with the ball in the ball house 4a, and can be recommended as the simplest and most reliable manufacturing method.

This is provided by the engagement with the movable member 8 that presses the ball 6 by being interposed between the coil spring 7. In other words, as shown in FIG. 5, in a state where the ball jumps out of the ball house 4a, the ink conducting hole 4e of the ballpoint pen tip is repelled by the periphery of the opening 4h opening at the rear hole 4d and the coil spring. The contact portion 8h provided on the ball pressing portion 8a of the movable member 8 , which will be described later in detail, forms a valve mechanism that abuts each other and is closely in contact with the circumference, thereby preventing ink from flowing out from the tip of the tip. It is.

The use of the partition member 9 to prevent the ball from falling off due to the impact applied to the refill has been described in detail in paragraphs "0016" and "0017". However, there are other causes for the ball falling off, such as abrasion of the tip edge holding the ball, and the refill can be applied to a knock-type ballpoint pen that carries the chip downward using ink with low viscosity. As described above, in the connection between the ballpoint pen tip 4 and the movable member 8 as described above, a valve mechanism that does not allow ink to flow out from the tip of the tip is required. The means can be variously configured under the above conditions. One embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below.

As shown in FIG. 5, the movable member 8 in the embodiment has an ink passage hole 4 whose tip surface abuts the ball surface.
a ball pressing portion 8a including a tip portion 8c having a diameter smaller than the diameter e;
An ink passage 8f is provided on the outer periphery thereof, and a rear end face 8e is formed by an ink rectifying portion 8b which is in contact with the coil spring 7. Further, the ball pressing portion 8a has a tip 8c having an ink rectifying portion 8b.
The connecting portion (contact portion) 8h connecting to the core 8d having a diameter larger than the diameter of the ink conducting hole is tapered, and the circumcircle of the ink rectifying portion on the outer periphery of the core is smaller than the diameter of the tip rear hole 4d. The plurality of rib-shaped blade portions 8g are formed so as to divide the circumference at equal intervals and form an ink passage 8f. In the embodiment, the ink passage is defined by the rib-shaped blades.
The present invention is not limited to this, and it is important to consider that the ink passing through the position where the coil spring is disposed smoothly flows to the tip of the tip without causing turbulence.

In the case where the ballpoint pen refill of the present invention having the above-described various means is accommodated in the barrel of a knock-type ballpoint pen and the ballpoint pen tip 4 is carried in a downward direction in a pocket of clothes, the ball pen refill has the same shape as the ball 6. By the action of the valve mechanism in which the ball pressed by the coil spring 7 with the movable member 8 interposed between the tip end caulking portion inner wall surface 4f formed on the spherical surface of the tip and the movable member 8 , ink leakage (dripping) from the tip end can be prevented. Further, even in the case where vibration or impact force is applied during the transportation of the product, the rear end face 9 that regulates the ink flow amount of the partition member 9 by the impact pressure caused by the swing of the ink 2.
By forming an ink flow path consisting of d, horizontal groove 9f and vertical groove 9g, the pressure applied to the ball is kept to a very small pressure to eliminate the possibility of the ball falling off. Furthermore, the ball is held in contact with the paper surface by writing. In the case where the leading edge 4b of the ball is worn out and the ball falls out while the ink remains, the ink passage hole opening 4h of the ballpoint pen tip and the ball pressing portion 8 of the movable member pressed by the coil spring.
The valve mechanism which abuts on the connecting portion (contact portion) 8h provided at the point (a) acts to prevent the ink from flowing out from the tip of the tip.
Of course, the refill becomes unusable due to the ball falling off, but it avoids the worst case of soiling clothes with ink, thereby confirming that it is a ballpoint pen refill that can be used safely with knock type ballpoint pens Is obtained.
