Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mat for preventing bedsores which suppresses and relieves sweatiness by adequately dispersing the heat of the parts in contact with the body, has excellent air permeability and flexibility and has a good touch to the skin, and a process for producing the same. SOLUTION: Fine cords 40 formed by coating core yarn formed by intertwining fibers with a compsn. consisting of a chlorine-contg. vinyl resin and ester compd. are double woven between the outer material 20 consisting of cotton chenille yarn and yarn of cotton stock and the lining material 30 consisting of yarn of cotton stock so as to be held therebetween, by which a fabric 10 is formed. The fabric is heated in a heating furnace kept at an atmosphere tap. of 120 to 150 deg.C and is then subjected to a strain relieving treatment, following which the fabric is cut to a specified size. The cut fabric is processed to a flat shape by pressing rolls after the heat treatment and is then cut to a specified size. The cut fabrics are subjected to hem stitching.

In the past, bath towels have been used simply to prevent pressure ulcers and to reduce or alleviate body swelling, but the method is inferior in air permeability and is not always satisfactory. is not. For these reasons, there has been a demand for the development of mats and mats that are suitable for the sick person and the care of the sick person. In view of this, the present inventor has previously disclosed a yarn coated with a composition comprising a chlorine-containing vinyl resin and an ester compound in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 8-218243, and the flexibility, flame resistance, and heat resistance of the yarn have been disclosed. The present invention has been completed by focusing on excellent physical properties such as conductivity and antistatic effect.
