SOLUTION: A pair of left and right roll cooling water header 1 is provided with the height covering the whole length of the roll drum, and the inner part of the roll cooling water header is subdivided into plural headers with diaphragms. Also, a hose 2 feeding the cooling water and a switching valve 3 are provided in every chamber of the subdivided header, the valve of the roll cooling water header used in the used caliber is closed and at the same time the valve of the roll cooling water header being used in the next caliber to be used is opened in order to change the caliber, whereby the cooling caliber is allowed to change by only the valve operation.

り、バルブ操作のみによって冷却カリバーの変更が可能
となる。

のロール冷却水ヘッダー使用時に比べオンラインでのカ
リバー交換時間の短縮が図られ、圧延ライン全体の生産
性が向上する。さらにオフラインにけるロール交換作業
能率の向上と、作業負荷軽減にも効果が得られる等極め
て優れた効果を奏するものである。
