2. Description of the Related Art First, a background of utilizing rainwater will be described. Japan is one of the rainiest countries in the world, with an annual rainfall of about 1750 mm / m 2, which is the world average of 970.
It is almost twice as large as mm / m 2 . However, the population density is high, and the per capita population is about 5460 m 3, which is the world average of 2687.
It is about ⅕ of 0 m 3 , and because of the steep topography, much rainwater immediately flows out into the sea through the river,
The amount of water available is even more limited, with only about 870 m 3 actually available. Under these circumstances, the amount of water supply has increased with the increase in urban areas these days.
Water shortages are becoming more serious. On the other hand, in urban areas, rainwater is drained directly into the sewer through the gutter and eventually flows into the sea, so groundwater cannot be secured, which increases the impervious area of groundwater. The rise in surface temperature is a factor that causes urban heat islands.

Under these circumstances, it is sufficient to use rainwater effectively for car washing and irrigation of gardens without using clean water, and the amount of clean water used can be saved accordingly. In addition, if rainwater is effectively used for irrigation and the like, it is possible to recharge groundwater. From the above, it has been attempted to adopt a structure for storing rainwater in the house so that rainwater can be effectively used. Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 5-

However, providing a water tank that requires a certain amount of capacity limits the design of the house due to its installation, complicates the construction process, and costs it. If possible, it is possible to easily install in a conventionally constructed house without considering the installation space of such an aquarium, and to save the installation space, and to effectively use the stored water for car washing, etc. A rainwater storage method is preferable. In addition, along with this, we would like to make the tank structure for water storage that requires piping work simple in structure and easy to carry out piping work, and further to take up no space for installation.

Around the house, soil is laid, planting P is provided, and a home garden F is provided, and the water in the vertical rainwater storage tank VT is used for watering these. To do. A horizontal rainwater storage tank LT is arranged next to the parking lot PK, and this storage water is used not only for toilet wash water and car wash, but also for watering the planting P and the home garden F. . In this way, the water for toilet wash water, car wash, water sprinkling, and planting cultivation is usually stored by rainwater, so it is possible to sprinkle water even when the water is short, and since tap water is not used, tap water is not used. You can save usage. Further, for planting and growing, the pavement H leading to the parking lot PK is made water-permeable, and the surrounding block BL is also made water-permeable so that rainwater can sufficiently penetrate into the soil in rainy weather. I have to. Conventionally, these are not water permeable, but when it rains, rainwater flows over the surface and flows out to the gutters, so the water retention capacity of the soil is weak, and the planting P etc. will be in a drought state soon after a little fine weather continues. It became.

In this way, if rainwater can be effectively used for water sprinkling, on the contrary, the area of planting P can be increased without increasing the amount of water supply used. If the planting P is effectively used and the vine plants are grown so as to cover the upper part and the lateral part of the terrace, as in the house shown in FIG. 1, for example, in the summer, the sunshine is blocked and the temperature rise in the room is suppressed. In the winter, by dropping more leaves, it takes in much sunlight and raises the indoor temperature, so it exerts a natural indoor temperature control function and saves heating and cooling costs.
Above all, it gives a pleasing appearance, and can also give a refreshing blessing to people passing outside the house.

Each socket portion 2a, 2b, 2c of the bottom lid 2
A connecting pipe is inserted into each of them according to the intended use. The socket portion 2a is formed with a certain length in the vertical direction because the overflow pipe 5 of the type that is inserted into the main body tank 1 for a long time is inserted therein. The upper end of the overflow pipe 6 is arranged directly below the light-shielding cover plate 5a at the lower end of the filter 5, and when rainwater accumulates at this position, the rainwater flows into the overflow pipe 6 and moves downward. It prevents the rainwater from flowing out and overflowing from the opening (filter 5) at the upper end. The water flowing into the overflow pipe 6 may be drained to an appropriate position, or may be connected to another water storage tank and stored in this tank.

Water can be distributed to various places by using the water pipe 8 fitted in the socket 2c, or by providing an opening / closing plug on the side surface of the main body tank 1 for water intake. The socket portion 2c
The water pipe 8 to be inserted into the main body tank 1 is made to project slightly above the bottom portion of the bottom lid 2 so that muddy water at the bottom portion does not flow in. Further, as described above, water is taken from the opening / closing plug on the side surface of the main body tank 1, and the water pipe 8 is used as a bypass pipe for freeze prevention,
Water may be discharged from the water pipe 8 in winter to prevent the opening / closing plug from freezing.

Since the vertical rainwater storage tank VT constructed as described above is arranged vertically, that is, in a vertically long shape, the space under the eaves is effectively used and the horizontal installation space is not required. Further, since the water pressure is largely applied to the bottom portion of the stored water due to the weight of the water itself, if the water is distributed from the bottom portion, the water can be distributed without requiring the power of a pump or the like. That is, if the water pipe 8 is used, it is possible to distribute water with a high water pressure due to its weight, and even if the water is taken from the side surface of the main body tank 1, if the water pressure is sufficiently higher than the bottom portion, the water pressure is sufficiently high. As a result, it is possible to take water with high water pressure.

Since the present invention is configured as described above, it has the following effects. That is, since the vertical rainwater storage tank arranged as in claim 1 is configured, first, since it is a vertical tank, it does not take up space for installation, and the stored water in the tank is subjected to gravity of the water itself. The water pressure at the bottom is high, and this water pressure can be used to distribute water without using power such as a pump. Further, conventionally, because of the tank arrangement, the structure of the building itself had to be considered from the construction stage, but since the tank of the present invention is arranged vertically in the space under the eaves, almost no tank is provided in the building itself. There is no need to make installation work. For these reasons, first, in the tank arrangement and the water distribution structure, space saving and low cost can be realized.
