Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate positioning at the time of assembly, and also prevent displacement after assembly in a door weather strip formed by embedding an insert panel in a thickness part along a door sash, by forming a part of the insert panel in a manner that it is brought in contact with the door sash. SOLUTION: In a door weather strip formed by embedding an insert panel 5 in a thickness part 2a along a door sash 4, a part 5a of the insert panel 5 formed of a hard resin is so formed that it is exposed from the thickness part 2a so as to be brought in contact with the door sash 4. An L-shaped insert panel 5 formed of a hard resin is also embedded in a corner part where the door weather strip is molded into an L shape. Hereby, when the door weather strip is assembled, a part 5a of the insert panel 5 is brought in contact with the door sash 4, thereby positioning is facilitated and ensured, and also frictional force between the part 5a and the door sash 4 after assembling is increased, thereby displacement can be effectively prevented.

2. Description of the Related Art In a corner portion 2 of a door weather strip 1 shown in FIG. 3, an insert panel 6 is formed in a thick portion 2a along a door sash 4 as shown in FIG. It is buried to prevent misalignment of the strip.

In the door weather strip 1, a part 5a of the insert panel 5 made of hard resin is formed so as to be exposed from the thick portion 2a and contact the door sash 4. Further, the door weather strip 1 in which the insert panel 5 is embedded in the thick portion 2a is formed by embedding the L-shaped hard resin insert panel 5 in the L-shaped molded corner portion 2.

Embodiments of the present invention will now be described in detail with reference to the drawings. As shown in FIG. 3, reference numeral 1 is a door weather strip which connects the extruded molding portions 3 and 3 to the corner portion 2 formed by molding. The door weather strip 1 is attached by fitting the attachment base portion 1a to a door sash 4 as shown in FIG. Further, in the L-shaped corner portion 2, an L-shaped hard resin insert panel 5 as shown in FIG. 5 is provided with a thick portion 2a along the door sash 4 as shown in FIGS.

In a door weather strip formed by embedding an insert panel in a thick portion along the door sash, a part of the hard resin insert panel is exposed from the thick portion and abuts on the door sash. A door weather strip in which an insert panel is embedded in a thick portion is formed by embedding an L-shaped hard resin insert panel in an L-shaped molded corner portion.
