【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 一側のテーブルに載置した石材の表面に
対して、機台に取り付けた支持体に支承されて横および
縦方向へ任意に移動され、駆動手段により回転される砥
石体により所定の研削・研磨を施す石材研削・研磨装置
にあって、 前記支持体に取り付けた砥石本体と、この砥石本体内へ
挿嵌させて外框体に支持され前記石材面に対して進退自
在となる回転軸と、この回転軸の一端部へ砥石保持体を
介して取り付けた砥石体と、前記外框体へその中間部を
支軸により回動自在に取り付けたレバー体と、このレバ
ー体の一端部に軸支させて該レバー体を回動させ、砥石
体の最後退限から石材面までの進退ストロークおよび進
退方向へのクッション性と進退方向に対しての固定手段
とを有するエアシリンダ等の第一操作手段と、前記レバ
ー体の他端部に軸支させて該レバー体を回動させ、砥石
体の石材への所定研削・研磨量のストロークを有する数
値制御可能な第二操作手段と、この第二操作手段に連係
させた制御手段とを備えさせたことを特徴とする石材研
削・研磨装置。

石体を切り込ませて切削・研磨する荒加工と、 第一操作手段により砥石体を繰り出して石材面へそのク
ッション性によって当接させて、石材面へ砥石体を切り
込ませ研磨する仕上げ加工とを選択的に行なうことを特
徴とする石材研削・研磨方法。
