Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fish reef capable of artificially raising a tidal current in the vicinity of the bottom of the sea, inducing the upwelling of nutritious materials, plankton, etc., in the bottom of the sea and improving the effect of a fish gathering and of a fry growing rate. SOLUTION: This fish reef having a characteristic of an upwelling flow is obtained e.g. by taking a tidal current into a bank having a taking in port for the tidal current and constructed as a double structure, for changing the direction of the current to upward and discharging from an upper part thereof, and next, installing a joining wall to make a bank having a cross shape or a three arrows shape for taking in the tidal current from all directions. Further, a cave of the bank produces an effect as a fish reef, and also, the fish reef is preferably made from a steel or a concrete.

【発明の詳細な説明】 海底近くの潮流を上昇させると、海底の豊富な栄養物、
プランクトン等の湧昇を誘引し、集魚効果、稚魚の育成
率を高める。湧昇流を誘引するため、潮流が何れの方位
へ流れている場合でもこれを受け止めて上昇させる事が
できる様に全方位から潮流を取り込み、湧昇流を可能に
する魚礁を発明した。まず、潮流の取り込み口を設けた
二重構造に構築された堤に潮流を取り込み、流れを上向
きに変えて上部より放流させるようにした。次に、潮流
の方位が全方位から取り込みを可能とするため堤を十字
型あるいは三矢型に継ぎ壁を設けて組み合わせる等、多
様な組み合わせを可能とした。堤の空洞及び組み合わせ
でできる中心部の空洞等はこれ自体魚礁としての効果を
生じさせる。本発明は、人口的に湧昇流を誘引させるた
め、潮流を全方位から取り込みを可能とし潮流を利用し
た湧昇流を特長とした魚礁を鋼製あるいはコンクリート
製で製作する。
