Abstract

The footing part 11 and the barrier part 12 are molded in a form wherein they are lined up with the center lines CL aligned vertically so that the sectional shape as a whole be a projecting one substantially and in a form wherein the lateral faces thereof on one side are lined up on the same plane so that the sectional shape be an L-shaped one substantially as a whole. Moreover, bolt holes 15 are bored from the top face of the barrier part 12 through the footing part 11 and made means for fixation to a road surface with bolts 15a used.

させて整列させ、全体の断面形状を略凸形に形成したも
のが使用される。さらに、前記基礎部と障壁部の上側の
稜部には外側へ凸の丸面取りが施される。また、前記障
壁部の上面には基礎部を貫いて下方へ伸びるボルト孔が
形成されることもある。

る。図2は直線状の車止め用の縁堰10が駐車場に設置
された例を示す。こゝで、車止め用の縁堰10は路面G
の上に接着あるいはボルト止めされ、これに車輪Wが当
接するようになっている。いずれの場合に於いてもその
長さ(弧状の場合は弧長)は60cm程度に設定され、
その高さと底面における幅は12〜18cm程度に設定
されている。
