PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit space saving in both of the inside and outside of a room and reduce the cost of applying work by a method wherein constituting parts of an air conditioner such as a compressor, heat exchangers, ventilating fan unit and the like are arranged on a base while an air outlet chamber, sending air after heat exchange, is attached to the lower surface of the base. SOLUTION: The constituting components of this water-cooled air conditioner or a compressor 1, a water side heat exchanger 3, an air side heat exchanger 2, a fan 4, a motor for the fan 14 and the like are arranged on a base 5 while an air outlet chamber 6, sending air, whose heat exchange is finished by an air side heat exchanger 2, is attached to the lower surface of the base 5. On the other hand, hanging fittings 9 are attached to the base 5 so as to be capable of being used as a ceiling hanging type air conditioner. According to the hanging fittings 9, the water-cooled air conditioner can be hung from the ceiling. Accordingly, the floor surface of an installation place can be utilized effectively while direct air sending type can be developed and duct applying works become unnecessary. の重量に耐えうる構造となっているベースの上に配置さ

本ユニットを据付場所の天井あるいは梁より吊り下げる
為の吊り金具が取り付けられる。ベースの上に構成部品
を配し、ベースを構成部品の重量に耐えうる強度とし、
吊り金具をベースに取り付ける。そのため、水冷式空気
調和機を天井より吊り下げることが可能となり、吊り金
具は構成部品より下面のベースに取付けられているので
構成部品のまわりのカバーや枠の構造は重量の負担がか
からないので簡素化することができ、ユニットの軽量化
にもつながる。また、天井へユニットを持っていくこと
で従来の床置タイプのように、床面がユニットの設置ス
ペースで占有されず、スペースが有効利用できる。ま
た、水冷式のため、空冷式の室外機に比べ接続するクー
リングタワーの配管長さに裕度があり設置スペースも少
ないので設置場所の選択に苦慮せずにすむ。また価格も
割安であるので設備の省コストにつながる。吹出チャン
バには4方向に空気を吹き分けられるよう吹出口が設け
てあるので熱交換された空気を直接吹き出すことができ
るのでダクト施工の必要がなくなり省工事となる。ま
た、吹出チャンバは、ベースに取り付けられているが、
着脱可能な構造となっているため、ユニットの据付工事
時や輸送時は取外しておくことができ、省工事となる。
また、必要時には吹出口からのダクト施工が可能であ
