BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a semiconductor device such as an integrated circuit, a memory circuit or various irregularly shaped parts (for example, a connector, a switch, a transmitter), various electronic equipments or a relatively small precision machine assembly for precision machine assembly. The present invention relates to a chain type container for transporting precision parts, which is suitable for holding individual parts (collectively referred to as “IC chips”) individually and carrying them into an automatic assembly machine or the like.

2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, most of the main circuit components have tended to be formed into chips in order to improve the operational reliability and assembling efficiency of electronic equipment. Therefore, in order to supply IC chips to various intermediate processing lines, final assembly lines, and the like, a relatively large transport container having chip receiving recesses arranged in a plurality of rows and columns is used. In such a large container, individual transfer of chips to the processing or assembly line is performed by a robot hand or the like which is juxtaposed near one side edge of the transfer line, but the other side edge of the transfer line is used. When removing the IC chip at a location close to the robot from the container, the robot hand must reciprocate a long distance. This not only has a negative effect on efficiency because it increases the waiting time on the processing line side, but also requires the gripping position to be changed every time, and if there is not enough gripping, chip breakage or confusion in the processing line may occur. There is. In order to avoid such adverse effects, the position of the robot hand must be controlled with high precision, and the cost for control increases.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. 1 to 6 show an embodiment of a container (A) according to the present invention, which is used for housing a rectangular IC chip (B). This container (A) is mainly a container provided with an article storage concave portion (1) for accommodating an IC chip (B) and having a substantially rectangular shape in plan view.
Including (2), it is integrally molded with a synthetic resin material.
As the resin material, for example, polyacetal (POM) is preferable. The article storage recess (1) is one size larger so that when the IC chip (B) is stored, there is a gap between the inner surface of the storage recess and the IC chip (B) into which the claw of the robot hand can fit. It is formed with dimensions. In this embodiment, the front and rear width of the article storage recess (1) is 20 mm, and the left and right width is 3.
It is formed with 0 mm.

[0008] Thus, the one connecting piece (5) is provided with a substantially U-shaped concave groove (5a) having an opening edge portion slightly narrowed and opening upward, and the other connecting piece (6) has the concave portion. A lateral fitting pin (6a) having a diameter larger than the width of the narrowed opening edge of the groove (5a) and having a diameter capable of being pressed and fitted into the concave groove (5a) is provided. Therefore, push the fitting pin (6a) of the connecting piece (6) of one container into the concave groove (5a) of the connecting piece (5) of the other container by pushing the narrowed opening edge. Thus, the containers can be easily connected in a chain. In the connected state, the fitting pin (6a) has the groove (5a).
Since it is formed with a diameter larger than the width of the narrowed opening edge portion, it does not easily separate during traveling of the container. Further, the container can be easily separated by pulling the fitting pin (6a) upward from the concave groove (5a) against the elastic engaging force.

Therefore, the upper plate (7b) forming the claws (7c) of the engaging claw pieces (7) ... Stands parallel to the bottom plate (8) of the container main body (2) and has two front and rear leg plates ( 7a) and (7a) hold the two claws (7c) in parallel with each other, so that the parallel movements of the claws (7a) and (7a) allow the two claws (7a) to retreat. , (7a), it is possible to retain the required elastic clamping force, and thereby the usable effective size of the retained IC chip can be made wider. Further, since the engaging claw pieces for holding the IC chip are formed in the diagonal portions of the article storage recess, the IC in the automatic machine line is
When the chip is taken out, it does not interfere with the insertion of the robot arm, and it can be sandwiched from any of the front, rear, left and right sides of the IC chip, which facilitates the operability of the robot arm.

As described above, the chain type container of the present invention is formed by integrally molding the unit containers which are compact and can be connected to each other in a chain shape, and connect a desired number of the unit containers in a chain shape. As a result, the operation area of the robot hand on the line can be reduced and the operation can be facilitated. In particular, the connection between the unit containers in the present invention can be easily performed by pressing the fitting pin of the connecting piece of one container into the concave groove of the connecting piece of the other container, and in the connected state. Since the fitting pin is formed with a diameter larger than the width of the opening edge portion where the concave groove is narrowed, the fitting pin does not easily separate during traveling of the container. There are various remarkable effects such that the dowel pin can be easily separated by pulling it upward from the groove against the engaging force.
