2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, most of the main circuit components have tended to be formed into chips in order to improve the operational reliability and assembling efficiency of electronic equipment. Therefore, in order to supply IC chips to various intermediate processing lines, final assembly lines, and the like, a relatively large transport container having chip receiving recesses arranged in a plurality of rows and columns is used. In such a large container, individual chips are transferred to the processing or assembly line by a robot hand or the like which is juxtaposed near one side edge of the transfer line, but the other side edge of the transfer line is used. When removing the IC chip at a location close to the robot from the container, the robot hand must reciprocate a long distance. This not only has a negative effect on efficiency because it increases the waiting time on the processing line side, but also requires the gripping position to be changed every time. There is. In order to avoid such adverse effects, the position of the robot hand must be controlled with high precision, and the cost for control increases.

The chain-type container (A) formed as described above is
As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the connecting pieces (5) and (6) are connected in a chain as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, and the IC chips (B) are stored in the article storing recesses (1). It is carried into the assembly line. The connection between the containers can be easily performed by pushing the fitting pin (6a) of the connection piece (6) of one container into the concave groove (5a) of the connection piece (5) of the other container. . In the connected state, the fitting pin (6a) is formed with a diameter larger than the width of the narrowed opening edge of the concave groove (5a).
Since the side portion (5b) is formed to have an end , even if an unexpected external force acts during traveling of the container, the connection between the containers does not easily separate. Further, the container can be easily separated by pulling the fitting pin (6a) upward from the concave groove (5a) against the elastic force.

As described above, the chain type container of the present invention is formed by integrally forming a compact unit container which can be connected to each other in a chain shape, and connecting a desired number of unit containers in a chain shape. Thereby, the operation area by the robot hand on the line can be reduced, and the operation can be facilitated. In particular, the connection of the unit containers in the present invention is performed by applying the fitting pin of the connection piece of one container to the concave groove of the connection piece of the other container from above and utilizing the elastic force of the synthetic resin material. It can be done simply by simply pushing it in, so it can be connected very easily and efficiently artificially, and also very efficiently and continuously using a very simple machine that only moves up and down in a short time. It has the effect of being able to be connected, and in the connected state, the fitting pin is formed with a diameter larger than the width of the narrowed opening edge of the concave groove, and moreover, it has
Since Ru Thea form the side portions in a closed-end shape, volume during running of the vessel
The container is subjected to abnormal pulling force or frictional force
The groove does not open even if unexpected external force such as
Therefore, the connection between the containers is not easily separated, and when the containers are separated, the fitting pins can be easily separated by pulling out the fitting pins upward from the concave grooves against the engaging force. There are various remarkable effects.
