Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.血液構成物による光吸収に対応する検出器信号を生成するためのセンサと、 動脈パルスに対応する検出された信号でパルスを適格するための制御手段と、適 格パルスがタイムアウト期間中に全く検出されないときに警報を生成するための 警報生成手段とを有するパルス酸素計において、その改良物が、 前記タイムアウト期間の間に動きアーチファクトがあるか否かを決定するため の動きアーチファクト手段と、 前記動きアーチファクト手段に応答し、前記警報の生成のタイミングを修正す るための修正手段とから成る、パルス酸素計。 2.請求項1記載のパルス酸素計であって、 前記修正手段が、状態機械を含み、 前記状態機械が、 適格パルスを検出し、分析するための適格信号状態と、 非適格パルスがノイズによるものか又は動きアーチファクトによるものかを決 定し、適格パルスを探し出すための試験状態と、 適格パルスが第1の時間の間に全く検出されないときに前記適格信号状態から 前記試験状態へと遷移させるための手段と、 所定の数の適格信号が前記試験状態で検出されると、前記試験状態から前記適 格信号状態へと遷移させる手段とを有する、 ところのパルス酸素計。 3.請求項2記載のパルス酸素計であって、 前記機械が、ソフトウエア・プログラムである、 ところのパルス酸素計。 4.請求項2記載のパルス酸素計であって、 前記試験状態が、 動きアーチファクトが検出され、前記タイムアウト期間が延長される、ところ の動きアーチファクト状態と、 動きアーチファクトが全く検出されず、前記タイムアウト期間が延長されない 、ところのノイズ状態とを含む、 ところのパルス酸素計。 5.請求項2記載のパルス酸素計であって、 前記試験状態が最大の試験時間の間以上の間延長する場合に、前記警報を活動 させるための手段をさらに含む、 ところのパルス酸素計。 6.請求項1記載のパルス酸素計であって、 前記動きアーチファクト手段が、 前記検出された信号でパルス波形を検出するための手段と、 前記パルス波形の導関数を決定するための手段と、 前記導関数の負のピークに対する前記導関数の正のピークの割合を決定するた めの手段と、 前記割合とスレッショルド値とを比較するための手段と、 前記割合が前記スレッショルドよりも小さいときに、動きアーチファクトを指 示するための手段とから成る、 ところのパルス酸素計。 7.請求項6記載のパルス酸素計であって、 前記スレッショルドが、1と1.4との間にある、 ところのパルス酸素計。 8.請求項1記載のパルス酸素計であって、 当該パルス酸素計が、赤外(IR)信号及び赤色信号を生成し、前記動きアーチ ファクト手段が、 IRパルスと、同時発生する赤色パルスとを相関させるための手段と、 前記パルスが適格されず、前記IR及び赤色パルスが相関するときに、動きアー チファクトを指示するための手段とから成る、 ところのパルス酸素計。 9.パルス酸素計信号で動きアーチファクトを検出するための装置であって、 前記パルス酸素計信号でパルス波形を検出するための手段と、 前記パルス波形の導関数を決定するための手段と、 前記導関数の負のピークに対する前記導関数の正のピークの割合を決定するた めの手段と、 前記割合とスレッショルド値とを比較するための手段と、 前記割合が前記スレッショルドよりも小さいときに、動きアーチファクトを指 示するための手段とから成る、装置。 10.血液の構成物による光吸収に対応する検出器信号を生成 するためのセンサと、動脈パルスに対応する検出された信号でパルスを適格する ための制御手段と、適格パルスがタイムアウト期間中に全く検出されないときに 、警報を生成するための警報生成手段とを有するパルス酸素計における、改良し た方法が、 前記タイムアウト期間の間に動きアーチファクトがあるか否かを決定する工程 と、 前記警報の生成のタイミングを修正する工程とから成る、方法。 11.請求項10記載の方法であって、 前記修正するための工程が、 適格パルスを検出し、分析するための制限状態と、 非適格パルスがノイズによるものか又は動きアーチファクトによるものかを決 定し、適格パルスを探し出すための試験状態とを含み、前記動きアーチファクト 手段が、前記試験状態の間、活動され、 さらに、 適格パルスが第1の時間の間に全く検出されないときに前記適格信号状態から 前記試験状態へと遷移させる工程と、 所定の数の適格信号が前記試験状態で検出されると、前記試験状態から前記適 格信号状態へと遷移させる工程とから成る、 ところの方法。 12.請求項11記載の方法であって、 当該方法が、ソフトウエア・プログラムによって行われる、 ところの方法。 13.請求項11記載の方法であって、 前記試験状態が、 動きアーチファクトが検出され、前記タイムアウト期間が延長される、ところ の動きアーチファクト状態と、 動きアーチファクトが全く検出されず、前記タイムアウト期間が延長されない 、ところのノイズ状態とを含む、 ところの方法。 14.請求項11記載の方法であって、 前記試験状態が最大の試験期間の間より以上の間延長する場合に、前記警報を 活動させる工程からさらに成る、方法。 15.請求項10記載の方法であって、 前記決定するための手段が、 前記検出した信号でパルス波形を検出する工程と、 前記パルス波形の導関数を決定する工程と、 前記導関数の負のピークに対する前記導関数の正のピークの割合を決定する工 程と、 前記割合とスレッショルド値とを比較する工程と、 前記割合が前記スレッショルドよりも小さいときに、動きアーチファクトを指 示する工程とから成る、方法。 16.請求項15記載の方法であって、 前記スレッショルドが、1と1.4との間である、 ところの方法。 17.請求項10記載の方法であって、 前記パルス酸素計が赤外(IR)信号及び赤色信号を生成し、前記決定する工程 が、 IRパルスと、同時発生の赤色パルスとを相関する工程と、 前記パルスが適格されず、前記IR及び赤色パルスが相関されると、動きアーチ ファクトを指示する工程とから成る、 ところの方法。 18.パルス酸素計信号で動きアーチファクトを検出するための方法であって、 前記パルス酸素計信号でパルス波形を決定する工程と、 前記パルス波形の導関数を決定する工程と、 前記導関数の負のピークに対する前記導関数の正のピークの割合を決定する工 程と、 前記割合とスレッショルド値とを比較する工程と、 前記割合が前記スレッショルドよりも小さいときに、動きアーチファクトを指 示する工程とから成る、方法。 19.請求項1記載のパルス酸素計であって、 数値的パルス率を指示するための表示と、 前記動きアーチファクト手段に応答し、動きアーチファクトがあるときに、ダ ッシュと共に前記数値的パルス率を交互させる手段とからさらに成る、パルス酸 素計。 20.血液の構成物による光吸収に対応する検出器信号を生成するためのセンサと 、動脈パルスに対応する検出した信号でパルスをク適格するための制御手段と、 適格パルスがタイムアウト期間に全く検出されないと、警報を生成するための警 報生成手段とを有するパルス酸素計において、その改良物が、 動きアーチファクトが前記タイムアウト期間の間にあるか否かを決定するため の動きアーチファクト手段と、 数値的パルス率を指示するための表示と、 前記動きアーチファクト手段に応答し、動きアーチファクトがあるときに、ダ ッシュと共に前記数値的パルス率を交互にするための手段とから成る、 ところのパルス酸素計。
