Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance wind resistance stability of a bridge. CONSTITUTION: An opening 9, which easily passes wind, is made on a web face 7 of a rail main body 2 installed along a bridge. The wind, that strikes against a bridge girder blows through the opening 9 and is divided into fine parts and turned into a smooth flow, thereby preventing the generation of a large swirl and hence protecting the bridge from vibrations caused by the whirl- pool. Since the opening 9 is installed to the rail main body 2, the thickness of the web face 7 is increased to such an extent that it may cover the opening 9, thereby eliminating any problems about the strength of the rail. Even if the opening 9 is installed, there occurs no problem which may damage the scenery view.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a rail of an inspection vehicle for inspecting and inspecting a bridge girder or the like of a bridge is attached to a lower portion of the bridge girder along the bridge girder, and the inspection vehicle moves along the rail. A conventional example of the rail of this bridge inspection vehicle will be described with reference to FIGS. 4 to 6. 01 is a bridge girder having a flat hexagonal sectional shape, 02,
Reference numeral 02 denotes an I-shaped rail main body, and the I-shaped rail main bodies 02 and 02 are attached to the lower surfaces of the widthwise end portions of the bridge girder 01 in parallel with the longitudinal direction of the bridge girder 01 via attachment ribs 03 and 04. ing.

It has become clear that the rail of a bridge inspection vehicle adversely affects wind resistance stability depending on its installation position. Even if the cross-sectional shape of the bridge body is excellent in wind stability, wind stability may be impaired depending on the installation position of the inspection vehicle rail. The location is verified and applied to the actual bridge, but it is the current situation.

The cause of such deterioration of wind resistance stability is shown in FIG.
This is because the wind 05 that hits the bridge girder 01 becomes a flow that is largely separated from the rail 02, as shown in FIG. Therefore, the bridge girder 01 has a problem that vibration is excited and wind resistance stability is impaired.
