溶融混練する混練機(2)とこの混練機(2)にフィー
ダ(1)から落下する成形材料を供給するシュート
(3)とから成る成形材料の供給装置において、上記フ
ィーダ(1)内に堆積する成形材料の堆積量によって変
位する成形材料の粉面を検出するセンサー(4a),
(4b)をフィーダ(1)の上下に対設し、成形材料の
粉面が上下のセンサー(4a),(4b)間に位置する
信号を受信するとフィーダ(1)の成形材料の搬送量と
等量で搬送し、成形材料の粉面が上位のセンサー(4
a)上に位置する信号を受信するとフィーダ(1)の成
形材料の搬送を一旦停止し一定時間の停止後搬送を再開
し、成形材料の粉面が下位のセンサー(4b)下に位置
する信号を受信するとフィーダ(1)の成形材料の搬送
量を増量して搬送する制御装置(5)を備えたことを特
徴とする成形材料の供給装置。
