Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】本来、平面である映像表示装置の映像表示面を
立体的に見せる。 【構成】映像表示装置１は、映像表示面２の外枠とし
て、映像表示面２を反射するための鏡３ａ，３ｂ，３ｃ
を備えている。これにより、映像表示面とその反射映像
が同時に見えるため、映像面が立体的に見える視覚効果
が得られる。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は立体感を強調するための
機構を付加した映像表示装置に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来、映像表示装置の前面の外枠は写り
込み等を防止するため、光を反射しにくい艶消し黒等の
色および素材が使用されていた。
【０００３】また、映像表示装置には、映像面を立体的
に見せる特別な機構等の工夫はされていなかった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】従来、映像表示装置の
映像表示面はあくまで平面であり、特殊な映像と眼鏡と
をしない限り立体的には見えなかった。
【０００５】本発明の目的は、映像面を立体的に見える
視覚効果を有するようにした映像表示装置を提供するこ
とにある。
【０００６】本発明の他の目的は、映像表示面と、その
映像表示面の辺からあたかも奥に写されるように反射映
像とを同時に見せるようにした映像表示装置を提供する
ことにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明の第１の映像表示
装置は映像表示面の外枠に該映像表示面の少なくとも一
部を反射する反射板を備えたことを特徴とする。
【０００８】本発明の第２の映像表示装置は、前記第１
の映像表示装置であって前記映像表示面の外枠の四辺の
うち少なくとも２辺を前記反射板にしたことを特徴とす
る。
【０００９】本発明の第３の映像表示装置は、前記第１
の映像表示装置における前記反射板の表面が鏡面である
ことを特徴とする。
【００１０】本発明の第４の映像表示装置は、前記第１
の映像表示装置における前記反射面が鏡および金属の少
なくとも一方であることを特徴とする。

【実施例】次に本発明の一実施例について図面を参照し
て詳細に説明する。
【００１２】図１を参照すると、本発明は、ブラウン管
方式や液晶方式の映像表示装置１が前提となる。
【００１３】本発明の第１の実施例は映像表示面２の外
枠として上側，下側，表示面に向って左側および右側に
鏡３ａ，３ｄ，３ｂおよび３ｃが備えられている。
【００１４】図示されない第１の変形例は全ての鏡３ａ
〜３ｄの代りに鏡面の金属で構成される。
【００１５】図示されない第２の変形例は鏡３ａ〜３ｄ
の一部の代りに鏡面の金属で構成される。

像が反射されるため映像面が立体的に見える視覚効果は
顕著である。

では、映像表示面２の外枠の上側，表示面に向って左側
および右側に鏡３ａ，３ｂおよび３ｃが備えられてい
る。
【００１８】図示されない第１の変形例は３つの鏡３ａ
〜３ｃの代りに鏡面の金属で構成される。
【００１９】図示されない第２の変形例は、３つの鏡３
ａ〜３ｃの一部の代りに鏡面の金属で構成される。
【００２０】この第２の実施例では枠の３つの面で映像
が反射されており、枠の全ての面で映像が反射されなく
ても立体的な視覚効果が得られる。
【００２１】図２および図３を参照すると、映像表示装
置１を正面からみた場合、映像表示面２および反射映像
を示す斜線部分４ａ，４ｂおよび４ｃも同時に見えるた
め、４面であっても長方体に見える。
【００２２】この面は、映像表示面の他、左右２面の反
射面または上下２面の反射面であっても立体的な視覚効
果は得られる。

【発明の効果】以上説明したように本発明による映像表
示装置は、映像表示面と鏡のような反射面による反射映
像を同時に見せることにより、映像面を立体的に見える
視覚効果が得られる。

  1. 【請求項１】 映像表示面の外枠に該映像表示面の少な
    くとも一部を反射する反射板を備えたことを特徴とする
    映像表示装置。
  2. 【請求項２】 前記映像表示面の外枠の四辺のうち少な
    くとも２辺を前記反射板にしたことを特徴とする請求項
    １記載の映像表示装置。
  3. 【請求項３】 前記反射板の表面が鏡面であることを特
    徴とする請求項１記載の映像表示装置。
  4. 【請求項４】 前記反射板が鏡および金属の少なくとも
    一方であることを特徴とする請求項１記載の映像表示装
    置。
