Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は，合成樹脂成形品に粒状の模様を形成する方法
に関するものである。
〔従来の技術〕 従来，装飾性の有無が重要視される化粧品容器等に装飾
性を持たせるため，模様を形成したり光沢を持たせる
等，様々な工夫がされてきた。
そうした装飾効果の目的において，粒状の模様を形成す
るといった新たな装飾手段も考えられた。
〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕
しかし，従来の技術をもって上記した粒状模様を形成す
ることは殆ど不可能であった。例えば，従来技術の一つ
のインサート方法というものがあるが，これは模様とし
たい部分に凹部あるいは空洞部分を形成した半製品を金
型に入れ、その凹部あるいは空洞部分に，溶融した樹脂
を流しこんで製品とするものである。このインサート方
法をもって粒状模様を形成するには，粒状の大きさをあ
る程度以上の大きなものとする必要があり，数ミリとか
１ミリ以下といった細かな粒状模様を形成することは難
しかった。
又，塗膜することによって，粒状模様を形成する粒状体
をベース樹脂２上に被覆する方法も考えられるが，この
方法だと塗膜で粒状体を完全に覆うことが難しく，その
結果，粒状体が塗膜から突出してしまうという不都合が
生じる。
本発明は、上記の点に鑑み考えられたもので，合成樹脂
製品１に粒状模様を簡単かつ確実に形成する方法を提供
することを目的とする。
〔問題を解決するための手段〕
そのため，製品を形成するベース樹脂２に，そのベース
樹脂２の融点温度を軟化点とし，径がゲート口径より大
きいものをも含みかつ色がベース樹脂２と異なる粒状体
樹脂３を混入し，その混合物を粒状体樹脂３の軟化点温
度においてゲートから金型内に射出し成形する。
〔作用〕
本発明は，粒状体樹脂３をベース樹脂２が溶融する温度
において軟化するものを選択しているので，ベース樹脂
２が溶融した状態にあっても，溶けることなくその形を
保っている。
又，粒状体樹脂３は，溶融状態にあるベース樹脂２と共
にゲートから射出される際軟化状態にあるので，径がゲ
ートの口径より大きくても変形することによってゲート
内を容易に通り抜けることが出来る。そして，金型内に
射出された後は原形に復帰し，粒状の模様を形成する。
〔実施例〕
図示実施例は，本発明方法によって成形された製品で，
コンパクト容器の蓋となる製品を示している。
ベース樹脂２と粒状体樹脂３の選択は，ベース樹脂２が
溶融する温度において粒状体樹脂３が軟化するものを選
択すれば良いのであり，例えば，ベース樹脂２を融点が
約220℃のAS樹脂とし，粒状体樹脂３を融点が約260℃の
アクリル樹脂とすると，そうした目的通りの樹脂を得る
ことが出来る。
使用される粒状体樹脂３の内，最も大きなものの径は，
それが射出されるゲート口径の大小によって左右される
が，例えば，一実施によるとゲート口径が0.8mmの場
合，最大外径が約3mmまでのものが使用出来た。この場
合の粒状体樹脂３はゲート口径の約４倍の大きさである
が、勿論これは加熱温度や射出圧力等によって左右され
るものであり，限定は出来ない。
ベース樹脂２と粒状体樹脂３の色の選択は，自由に行う
ことが出来る。例えば，ベース樹脂２を黒とし，粒状体
樹脂３を一色に限定せず金，銀，青，等として星空を連
想させる模様する等，あらゆる装飾効果を引き出すこと
が出来る。
又，粒状体の大きさも統一したり，又，ゲート口径との
関係において許される範囲内で様々な大きさのものを混
ぜることにより，あらゆる模様を形成することが可能で
ある。
〔発明の効果〕
このように，本発明によると，ベース樹脂２の溶融温度
において軟化する樹脂を粒状体樹脂３としてベース樹脂
２に混入し，上記温度において樹脂成形するのみで，容
易かつ確実に粒状模様を形成することが出来る等，優れ
た効果を発揮する。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】射出成形によって成形される合成樹脂製品
    （１）に粒状の模様を形成する方法であって，製品を形
    成するベース樹脂（２）に，該ベース樹脂（２）の融点
    が軟化点であると共に，径が射出ゲート口径より大きい
    ものをも含み，かつ該ベース樹脂（２）と異なる色の粒
    状体樹脂（３）を混入し，前記ベース樹脂（２）と粒状
    体樹脂（３）との混合物を該粒状体樹脂（３）の軟化点
    温度において前記ゲートから金型内に射出成形して成る
    粒状模様形成方法。
