Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】 双方向ＣＡＴＶシステムのネットワークを利
用してそのエリア内の気象情報をきめ細かに収集する。
また収集された気象情報に基づいて得られたその地域の
気象予報をＣＡＴＶの加入者に提供する。 【構成】 請求項１では双方向ＣＡＴＶシステムの中継
伝送路１上に任意の間隔で気象観測を行う気象観測装置
２を多数設置し、これら気象観測装置２が観測した気象
情報をＣＡＴＶのセンタ３に伝送する。請求項２では気
象観測装置２を中継伝送路１上の中継伝送機器５に内蔵
する。請求項３では気象観測装置２を中継伝送路１上に
直接設ける。請求項４ではセンタ３に集められた気象情
報を基に得られた気象予報を中継伝送路１を通して加入
者側に送信する。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、双方向ＣＡＴＶシステ
ムを利用して、同システムが布設されているエリア内の
気象情報（気温、湿度、気圧、風速、風向、日照時間、
降雨量、降雪量、積雪量等）を収集する気象情報入手方
法と、その収集した気象情報に基づいて得られた気象予
報（天気予報）をＣＡＴＶシステムの加入者に送信する
ようにした気象予報方法に関するものである。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】気象庁では気象予報（天気予報）の基に
なる気象情報を地上、海上、空、宇宙から種々の方法で
収集し、それら各方面から得られた多角的情報を総合し
て気象予測を行っている。このように現在の気象観測や
予測では各方面から多角的に情報を収集しているが、地
上での各地の気温、湿度、気圧、風速、風向、日照時
間、降雨量、降雪量、積雪量等の気象情報の収集もかな
り重要な位置を占めている。このような各地域の気象情
報を収集するシステムとしてはアメダスがあった。
【０００３】この地域気象情報収集システム（アメダ
ス）は、全国各地（約１、３００ケ所）に配置された気
温、湿度、気圧、風速、風向、日照時間、日照量、降雨
量等の気象要素を観測する気象観測装置と東京にある気
象庁の地域気象観測センタとを電話回線により接続した
システムで、各気象観測装置で観測された気象データは
電話回線により毎正時（００分）毎に地域気象観測セン
タへ送信され、センタへ送信された気象データはセンタ
内の電子計算機で処理された後、気象庁の気象資料自動
編集装置に送られて気象資料となったり、各地の地方気
象台に送信されて各地の気象予報の資料として使用され
たりする。
【０００４】
【発明が解決しようとする課題】前記地域気象情報収集
システムは全国的な気象予報には大変に優れたシステム
であるが、情報収集箇所は都道府県単位で見ると数箇所
しかなく、都道府県内の限られた地域（例えば郡、市、
町、村単位）の気象情報まで収集することはできない。
そのため、都道府県内の限られた地域毎の気象（夫々の
地域に特有な雷雨、突風、フェーン現象による異常な温
度上昇等）を予報する場合に、地域別に精度の高い気象
予報を行うことができないという問題があった。
【０００５】一方において、最近では、これまで以上に
精度の高い地域的な気象予報が要求されている。このた
め、これまでの気象情報収集方法では地域と密接した気
象予報を行うことが難しかった。
【０００６】本発明の目的は、双方向ＣＡＴＶシステム
のネットワークを利用して同システムのエリア内の気象
情報をきめ細かに収集できる気象情報入手方法と、収集
された気象情報に基づいて得られたその地域の気象予報
をＣＡＴＶの加入者に提供できるようにした気象予報方
法を提供することにある。
【０００７】
【課題を解決するための手段】本発明のうち請求項１の
双方向ＣＡＴＶシステムを利用した気象情報入手方法は
図１に示すように、双方向ＣＡＴＶシステムの中継伝送
路１上に任意の間隔で気温、湿度、気圧、風速、風向、
日照時間、降雨量、降雪量、積雪量等の気象観測を行う
気象観測装置２を多数設置し、これら気象観測装置２が
観測した気象情報を双方向ＣＡＴＶシステムのセンタ３
に伝送するようにしたものである。
【０００８】本発明のうち請求項２の双方向ＣＡＴＶシ
ステムを利用した気象情報入手方法は、前記気象観測装
置２を中継伝送路１上に設置される双方向増幅器等の中
継伝送機器５に内蔵してなることを特徴とするものであ
る。
【０００９】本発明のうち請求項３の双方向ＣＡＴＶシ
ステムを利用した気象情報入手方法は、前記気象観測装
置２を中継伝送機器５とは別に中継伝送路１上に設け、
同気象観測装置２が観測した気象情報を中継伝送路１に
よりセンタ３に伝送することを特徴とするものである。
【００１０】本発明のうち請求項４の双方向ＣＡＴＶシ
ステムを利用した気象予報方法は、双方向ＣＡＴＶシス
テムの中継伝送路１上に任意の間隔で気温、湿度、気
圧、風速、風向、日照時間、日照量、降雨量等の気象観
測を行う気象観測装置２を多数設置し、これら気象観測
装置２が観測した気象情報を双方向ＣＡＴＶシステムの
センタ３に伝送し、同センタ３に集められた気象情報に
基づいて得られた気象予報を、ＣＡＴＶシステムの中継
伝送路１を通して加入者側に送信するようにしたもので
ある。

【作用】本発明のうち請求項１〜３の双方向ＣＡＴＶシ
ステムを利用した気象情報入手方法では、中継伝送路１
上の各所に設置されている気象観測装置２が気温、湿
度、気圧、風速、風向、日照時間、降雨量、降雪量、積
雪量等の気象観測を行うと、その観測された気象情報が
ＣＡＴＶの中継伝送路１の上り信号用回線を通してセン
タ３に伝送されるため、同センタ３では中継伝送路１に
伝送された気象情報を受信することによりＣＡＴＶシス
テムのエリア内の気象情報を一手に収集することができ
る。
【００１２】本発明のうち請求項４の双方向ＣＡＴＶシ
ステムを利用した気象予報方法では、センタ３に集めら
れた気象情報を処理して得られる気象予報が中継伝送路
１を通して各加入者に送信されるため、ＣＡＴＶの加入
者は自分が住んでいる地域の詳しい気象予報を知ること
ができるようになる。

【実施例１】図１は本発明の双方向ＣＡＴＶシステムを
利用した気象情報入手方法とその気象情報に基づいた気
象予報方法の一実施例を示したものである。同システム
はセンタ３と加入者とを結ぶ中継伝送路１が１本の同軸
ケーブルによる双方向通信（通信用周波数帯域のうち高
帯域側がセンタ３から加入者側への下り信号用、低帯域
側が加入者側からセンタ３への上り信号用）となってお
り、同中継伝送路１の途中には双方向増幅器（中継伝送
機器）５が多数設置されている。
【００１４】前記双方向増幅器５は、中継伝送路１のセ
ンタ３側の同軸ケーブルに接続される端子１０と加入者
側の同軸ケーブルに接続される端子１１とを備えてお
り、センタ側の端子１０に同センタ３からの下り信号が
入力されるとハイパスフィルタ１４を通過し、下り回線
用増幅器１５によって増幅され、ハイパスフィルタ１６
を通過して加入者側の端子１１に出力され、また一方、
加入者側の端子１１に上り信号が入力されるとローパス
フィルタ１７を通過し、上り回線用増幅器１８によって
増幅され、ローパスフィルタ１９を通過してセンタ側の
端子１０に出力されるようになっている。
【００１５】また、前記上り回線用増幅器１８とローパ
スフィルタ１９との間には同双方向増幅器５の動作状態
をチェックしてその動作情報をセンタ３に送信させるた
めのステイタスモニタ２０が取り付けられている。この
ステイタスモニタ２０は、双方向増幅器５の動作状態を
チェックしながらその動作状態をデータとして算出し、
その算出されたデータを上り回線用の周波数の信号に変
調して、センタ３に送信することができるように構成さ
れている。
【００１６】また、前記双方向増幅器５には、外部の気
温、湿度、気圧、風速、風向、日照時間、降雨量、降雪
量、積雪量等を測定する気象観測装置２が取り付けられ
ている。同気象観測装置２は双方向増幅器５に内蔵され
る内蔵ユニット２１と、同双方向増幅器５に外付けされ
る外付けユニット２２とに分かれており、同外付けユニ
ット２２は双方向増幅器５に設けられた端子６に接続さ
れて内蔵ユニット２１と接続されている。なお、内蔵ユ
ニット２１は気象観測に大型の計測器を必要としない気
温、湿度、気圧、日照時間の測定装置となり、外付けユ
ニットは気象観測に比較的大型の計測器を必要とする風
速、風向、降雨量、降雪量、積雪量の測定装置となって
いる。
【００１７】前記内蔵ユニット２１は、気温、湿度、気
圧、日照時間を計測する各種計測器と、各計測器の計測
データを前記ステイタスモニタ２０によって処理可能な
信号に変換する処理回路とを内蔵しており、各計測器で
計測されたデータが処理装置で処理されてステイタスモ
ニタ２０に出力されるようになっている。
【００１８】前記外付けユニット２２は、風速、風向、
降雨量、降雪量、積雪量を計測する各種計測器と、各計
測器の計測データを前記ステイタスモニタ２０によって
処理可能な信号に変換する処理回路とを内蔵しており、
各計測器で計測されたデータが処理装置で処理され、端
子６を経由して前記内蔵ユニット２１に送られ、内蔵ユ
ニット２１を経由してステイタスモニタ２０に出力され
るようになっている。前記両ユニット２１、２２で測定
された気象情報のデータはステイタスモニタ２０で上り
回線用の周波数の信号に変調され、センタ３に伝送され
る。
【００１９】一方、センタ３には、前記の双方向増幅器
５より中継伝送路１の上り信号用回線を経由して伝送さ
れてきた信号（気象情報のデータと双方向増幅器５の通
信状態のデータ）を受信して元のデータに変換するデー
タ復調器２５と、気象予測用のデータを処理して画像化
された気象予報（気象図、気温表等）を作製するＣＰＵ
２６と、同ＣＵＰ２６が出力する気象予報（画像）をＴ
Ｖ信号に変換して中継伝送路１に出力するＴＶ変調器２
７とが設置されている。なお、センタ３に伝送されてき
た双方向増幅器５の通信状態のデータは前記データ復調
器２５で復調された後、図示されていないＣＰＵで処理
されて通信状態をモニタするモニタ回路に出力されるよ
うになっている。
【００２０】なお、本実施例１のセンタ３では双方向増
幅器５の気象観測装置２から送られてくる気象情報のデ
ータを受けるだけであるが、前記センタ３にステイタス
モニタ２０や気象観測装置２を制御するコントローラを
設け、同コントローラから双方向増幅器５へ制御信号を
送ってステイタスモニタ２０や気象観測装置２を制御
し、指定の時刻に気象観測を行わせたり、特定の気象観
測装置２を指定してある地域の気象観測を集中して行わ
せてもよい。
【００２１】この他、本発明の双方向ＣＡＴＶシステム
を利用した気象情報入手方法とその気象情報に基づいた
気象予報方法では外部の気温、湿度、気圧、風速、風
向、日照時間、降雨量、降雪量、積雪量等を測定する気
象観測装置２を前記中継増幅器５とは別体に作製し、こ
の気象観測装置２を図２に示すように中継伝送路１に直
接接続させ、同気象観測装置２が観測する気象情報を直
接中継伝送路１の上り回線に入力し、センタ３に伝送さ
せても良い。但し、この気象観測装置２は、気象観測用
（気温、湿度、気圧、風速、風向、日照時間、降雨量、
降雪量、積雪量等）の計測器の他に、各計測器から出力
される信号を処理する処理回路や、同処理回路が処理し
たデータをＣＡＴＶの上り回線用の信号に変調して送り
出す送信回路が内蔵されている。

【発明の効果】本発明の双方向ＣＡＴＶシステムを利用
した気象情報入手方法によれば下記のような効果があ
る。 ．ＣＡＴＶのエリア内に網の目のように張りめぐらさ
れている中継伝送路１を利用して気象観測装置２が観測
した気象データを収集するので、同中継伝送路１の各所
に直接或は各種中継伝送機器５を介して気象観測装置２
を取り付ければ、同エリア内の気象情報を簡単に、しか
もアメダスのように電話回線を使用せずにセンタ３に集
めることができる。従って、双方向ＣＡＴＶシステムの
ある地域では、気象観測装置２を設置するにあたって新
たに電話回線や無線回線等の通信設備が不要となり、設
備投資を抑えることができる。 ．通常ＣＡＴＶは市町村単位規模で中継伝送路１が構
築されているため、同球形伝送路１上の気象情報を収集
すれば、市町村単位での気象予報に必要な気象情報を収
集することができ、同ＣＡＴＶのエリア内の気象予報を
より正確に行うことが可能となる。
【００２３】本発明の双方向ＣＡＴＶシステムを利用し
た気象予報方法では、ＣＡＴＶのエリア内で観測された
気象情報を基に得られた気象予報が、同ＣＡＴＶのエリ
アにいる加入者に向けて送信されるため、地域に密着し
た気象予報システムとして機能する。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 双方向ＣＡＴＶシステムの中継伝送路上
    に任意の間隔で気温、湿度、気圧、風速、風向、日照時
    間、降雨量、降雪量、積雪量等の気象観測を行う気象観
    測装置を多数設置し、これら気象観測装置が観測した気
    象情報を双方向ＣＡＴＶシステムのセンタに伝送するこ
    とを特徴とする双方向ＣＡＴＶシステムを利用した気象
    情報入手方法。
  2. 【請求項２】 前記気象観測装置を中継伝送路上に設置
    される双方向増幅器等の中継伝送機器に内蔵してなるこ
    とを特徴とする請求項１の双方向ＣＡＴＶシステムを利
    用した気象情報入手方法。
  3. 【請求項３】 前記気象観測装置を中継伝送機器とは別
    に中継伝送路上に設け、同気象観測装置が観測した気象
    情報を中継伝送路によりセンタに伝送することを特徴と
    する請求項１の双方向ＣＡＴＶシステムを利用した気象
    情報入手方法。
  4. 【請求項４】 双方向ＣＡＴＶシステムの中継伝送路上
    に任意の間隔で気温、湿度、気圧、風速、風向、日照時
    間、日照量、降雨量等の気象観測を行う気象観測装置を
    多数設置し、これら気象観測装置が観測した気象情報を
    双方向ＣＡＴＶシステムのセンタに伝送し、同センタに
    集められた気象情報に基づいて得られた気象予報を、Ｃ
    ＡＴＶシステムの中継伝送路を通して加入者側に送信す
    るようにしたことを特徴とする双方向ＣＡＴＶシステム
    を利用した気象予報方法。
