Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a resin composition for electrical equipment insulation treatment which increases moisture resistance and corrosion prevention effect by blending a specified amount of diisopropyle ammonium nitrate in an unsaturated polyester resin. CONSTITUTION:An acid component (example: terephthalic acid), an alcohol component (example: ethylene glycol), and a midification component (example: linseed oil) if necessary are reacted to synthesize an unsaturated polyester, and a necessary additive such as a curing agent (example: benzoisoperoxide) is blended thereto. 0.3-5 pts.wt. diisopropyle ammonium nitrate is blended to 100 pts.wt. unsaturated polyester resin obtained to prepare a resin composition for electrical equipment insulation treatment. This resin composition is impregnated in electrical equipment such as a motor for insulation treatment. An input plug of a core or a transformer of electrical equipment is prevented from generating rust even under high moisture.

2. Description of the Related Art Unsaturated polyester resins composed of unsaturated polyester and a crosslinkable monomer are harmonized in terms of mechanical, electrical and thermal characteristics, workability and economical efficiency, and therefore FRP laminated. It is used in many applications including boards. Further, this resin is also widely used as an impregnating varnish for motors, transformers and the like because it has excellent properties and workability for electrical insulation. However, conventional motors and transformers treated with varnish are used in high humidity, or when they are stored in a closed state for a long period of time, due to moisture, oxygen, etc., the core of the motor or transformer, The metal plug for power input of the adapter transformer was rusted, which had the drawbacks of lowering the product value, increasing iron loss, and poor conduction of the plug.

The component (B) used in the present invention, diisopropylammonium nitrate, is a known compound,
Both reagents and industrial grade can be used. For industrial use, there is the product name Kirest CVI150 manufactured by Kirest Co., Ltd. The amount of diisopropylammonium nitrate used is 0.3 to 5.0 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the component (A). If the amount of diisopropylammonium nitrate is less than 0.3 parts by weight, the rust-preventing effect of the core of electric equipment and the rust-preventing effect of the plug of the adapter transformer are insufficient, and even if it exceeds 5.0 parts by weight, No significant improvement in these effects is observed.
