This type of coil is suitable when insulation of the coil core is required or when the coil cross-sectional area is sufficiently large for the winding. Recently, however, there has been a strong demand for miniaturization and improved electrical performance of these exciting coils. In order to satisfy these requirements, the coil is energized and heated while the self-bonding insulated wire is wound around the winding frame, or the coil is heated from the outside, and the adjacent conductors of the coil are joined to each other. It is conceivable to use a coil removed from the reel. Since this coil does not have a bobbin, the gap between the coil and the core can be reduced, which is optimal for downsizing the coil and improving electrical performance.
In this coil, the terminal lead wire is soldered and fixed to the pattern of the printed circuit board.

However, when the coil is used in a place where the vibration is large, or when the coil body side is used by an exciting force, the terminal lead wire is fixed by soldering to the pattern of the printed circuit board in the coil. Since it is only for the purpose, the fixing force to the printed circuit board is weak, and the mounting position of the coil is not regulated accurately, so the coil becomes easy to work due to vibration etc. There is a problem in that it cannot be put to practical use due to a problem such as poor insulation caused by contact with the core. The present invention has been made to solve these problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide an exciting coil having a reduced size and improved electric performance.

A self-bonding wire that is wound a predetermined number of times is heated and cooled to be configured into a predetermined shape, and an opening larger than at least a cross-sectional area of a core inserted into the coil is formed on both end surfaces of the coil. In addition, a flange member, in which lead terminal pins for connecting lead wires, projections for regulating the mounting position of the coil, and metal pieces having screw holes are arranged, is bonded and fixed to form the coil.

Even the coil not wound on the bobbin is firmly fixed to the printed circuit board like the coil wound on the bobbin by the flange members connected to both end faces of the coil,
It is also earthquake-resistant, and the gap between the coil and the core can be made small, resulting in a small coil with excellent electrical performance.

The present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 1A is a sectional view showing the structure of a coil, and FIG. 1B is a view showing the structure of a flange member. In the figure, 1 is a coil, 2 is a flange member, 3 is a projection (one is not shown) for restricting the mounting position when the coil is mounted on a printed circuit board, and 4 is provided on the flange member 2 by integral molding or fitting. Lead terminal pins (one of which is not shown) 5 are metal pieces similarly provided, and each metal piece 5 is provided with a screw hole 6 into which a screw is screwed. 7 is a flange member 2
It is a hole provided for screw insertion. Reference numeral 8 denotes one end lead wire of the coil 1, 9 is an adhesive, and 10 is an opening provided in the flange member 2. The coil of the present invention is a core
14 (Fig. 2 (b)) Use a winding frame that has the same cross-section as the one shown in Fig. 2 (b), and after winding a certain number of self-bonding wires, energize the coil or heat the coil from the outside to heat the adjacent wires of the coil. After adhering to the both ends A of the coil removed from the bobbin,
The flange member 2 is bonded to each A'using an adhesive 9 and the terminal lead wire 8 of the coil is connected to the flange member 2
It is configured by soldering and connecting to the lead terminal pins 4 provided on the. Then, the coil is attached to the printed circuit board by inserting the protrusions 3 for restricting the mounting position of the flange member 2 into the recesses or the holes provided in the printed circuit board in advance, and aligning them with a predetermined pattern provided on the printed circuit board. Each lead terminal pin 4 is inserted into a pattern hole to be connected to, and a screw is inserted through a hole provided in the printed board and a hole 7 provided in the flange member 2 to be provided in the metal piece 5. The coil is fixed to the printed circuit board by screwing a screw into the screw hole 6 formed therein. Then, the lead terminal pin 4 and the pattern of the printed board are soldered to connect the coil in an electric circuit manner.

According to the present invention, even if the coil is not wound on the bobbin, it is fixed to the printed circuit board like the coil wound on the bobbin by simply connecting the flange members to both end faces of the coil, so that the fixing force is large and the vibration resistance is high. In addition to improving the efficiency, there is an advantage that the mounting position is accurately regulated. Since the body of the conventional bobbin is not necessary, the gap between the coil and the core can be reduced, the coil can be downsized, and a coil having a large excitation energy and improved electrical performance can be obtained.
Further, compared with the coil using the bobbin, the practical effect such as the reduction of the molding material is large.
