Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily connect a braided wire to a terminal block material without being influenced by a pitch between terminals, shape of the terminal block material, etc., by ultrasonic-welding a connection part between the braided wire and the terminal block material. CONSTITUTION:In a lead connecting structure, a flexible flat braided copper wire 2 is arranged astride terminal block materials 1A, 1B respectively formed of a conductor, and connection parts 3 between each block material 1A, 1B and the copper wire 2 are respectively ultrasonic-welded by using an ultrasonic welding machine. In a device for manufacturing the lead connecting structure, first on a workpiece mounting base 11, the terminal block materials 1A, 1B are set by providing a space S. Next, the flat braided copper wire 2 is arranged in each positioning groove 4 of the block materials 1A, 1B, to press, from above of this copper wire, horns 12a of the ultrasonic welding machine 12 to the connection part 3 through tools 13 therebetween, and when this part is given an ultrasonic vibration, the block materials 1A, 1B and the copper wire 2 are fused and connected.

However, in the method in which the braided copper wire and the terminal block material are connected by casting and crimping, the work is difficult and technical when the pitch between the terminals is short. However, there was a problem that it required advanced equipment and increased costs. The workability is also greatly affected by the shape of the terminal block material,
Therefore, there is a problem that the design of the terminal block material is limited and the design is difficult.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems, and its purpose is not significantly affected by the pitch between terminals, the shape of the terminal block material and the like, and between the knitting wire and the terminal block material. It is an object of the present invention to provide a lead connecting method and a structure capable of easily connecting to each other. Furthermore, other purposes will be clarified one after another in the content described below.

1 and 2, in this lead connection structure, a flexible flat braided copper wire 2 is arranged so as to straddle a terminal block material 1A and a terminal block material 1B each made of a conductor. Then, the joining portion 3 between each of the terminal block materials 1A and 1B and the flat braided copper wire 2 is ultrasonically joined using an ultrasonic joining machine. Positioning grooves 4 for receiving one end of the flat braided copper wire 2 are formed in the terminal block materials 1A and 1B side where the joining portion 3 is provided in the manufacturing process. The depth of the positioning groove 4 is substantially equal to the thickness of the flat braided copper wire 2 and the width thereof is also substantially equal to the width of the plain braided copper wire 2.

FIG. 3 shows one manufacturing apparatus for forming the lead connecting structure shown in FIGS. In this manufacturing apparatus, first, the terminal block members 1A and 1B are set on the work mounting table 11 with a gap S (about 6.4 mm in this embodiment) provided therebetween. Next, the flat braided copper wire 2 is placed in each positioning groove 4 of the terminal block materials 1A and 1B,
When the horn 12a of the ultrasonic bonding machine 12 is pressed against the bonding portion 3 via the tool 13 and ultrasonic vibration is applied to the horn 12a, the terminal block materials 1A and 1B and the flat braided copper wire 2 are applied. It has a structure in which it can be melted and joined to each other. The lead connection structure shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is formed in this manner.
