Description
【0001】[0001]
The present invention particularly relates to the provision of a suture prosthesis suitable for use in an automatic suturing device.
【0002】[0002]
Conventionally, stapler-type automatic suturing devices with a large number of staples are often used for surgical operations such as excision and anastomosis of tubular organs, but when applied to the lungs, etc. When applied to soft tissue, problems such as tissue damage and rupture may occur.
【0003】[0003]
The present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art, and particularly provides a sewing prosthesis material suitable for use in an automatic suturing device.
【0004】[0004]
That is, the present invention relates to a suture prosthesis material having a tubular shape and comprising a biodegradable and absorbable cloth-like body.
【0005】[0005]
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention is a suture prosthesis configured in a tubular shape, and when applied to an automatic suturing device, the suture prosthesis can be attached by a simple operation of simply fitting the staple on the staple portion. By performing the operation, it becomes a patch cloth interposed between the human body tissue and the staples, and the problems such as the air leakage and the tear of the tissue described above are solved.
On the other hand, since the biodegradable and absorbable material is used as the material, it has a feature that it does not remain as a foreign substance in the body when left as it is. As the biodegradable and absorbable material, polyglycolic acid, polylactic acid, a copolymer of the both, a mixture, paradioxanone, polycaprolactone, chitin, or the like, which has already been applied as a medical material, is selected. The filamentous material is knitted, woven, or made into a non-woven fabric, or a cloth-like body such as a film is formed into a tubular shape by an appropriate means such as bonding or sewing. Particularly preferable examples of such a cloth-like material are Japanese Patent Publication No. 5-18579, which was previously invented by the applicant of the present invention, in view of flexibility, breathability, blood absorption, ease of passing staples, degradability and the like. Non-woven fabrics made of polyglycolic acid disclosed in 1) can be exemplified.
In addition, the above-mentioned tubular formation is performed by stitching, adhering, etc., a cloth-like body cut into an appropriate size according to a desired size, that is, a size of a staple embedding site of an automatic suturing device to be applied. The joining is performed by an arbitrary method, but it is particularly preferable to use means such as rough tacking or temporary tacking because it is advantageous in workability after the suturing operation described later. However, a knitted fabric knitted in a high density in a tubular shape may be used as it is so as to be suitable for the use. Hereinafter, the configuration and application will be described with reference to the drawings.
【0008】[0008]
FIG. 1 shows an example of the structure of a suture prosthesis 1 according to the present invention. For example, a plurality of knitted fabrics knitted with the polyglycolic acid yarn disclosed in the above-mentioned Japanese Patent Publication No. 5-18579 are stacked. It is made by using needle-punched non-woven fabric to cut it into rectangles, and joining the edges together and stitching them together. 3 is pulled, the seam 2 is loosened and both edges of the joint 4 are roughly sewn so that they can be easily separated. Incidentally, FIG. 2 shows a cross-sectional view of FIG. The suture prosthesis of the present invention having such a structure has a double staple (two rows × two rows of staple embedding) type automatic suturing device, that is, a staple receiving groove, which is generally used in the past, as shown in FIG. The frame 6, the cartridge with built-in staple 7, the staple tightening handle 8, the frame 6 of the automatic suturing device 5 having the cutter 9 as a main component, and the cartridge 7 are used by being fitted respectively. This fitting state is shown in FIG. 4, and the suture prostheses 1 and 1 ′ are respectively fitted to the frame 6 and the cartridge 7 part.
FIG. 5 shows a normal suturing operation, that is, a metal staple 10 is clamped by the automatic suturing device 5 in which the suture prostheses 1 and 1 ′ are fitted as shown in FIG. FIG. 6 shows a state in which the lesioned part 11 and the non-lesioned part 11 are separated by operating the human body tissue 13 of the relevant part as shown in FIG. 6 and FIG. It is fixed by the staple 10 through the ′ ′, and prevents air leakage and tissue rupture by the function of a patch. 6 is a view of FIG. 5 viewed from the X direction. The cut portion of the suture prosthesis 1 cut by the operation of the cutter 9 is the line AA in FIG. 2, that is, a substantially intermediate portion, and after the cutting operation, the joint portion 4 shown in FIG. If the thread end 3 of 2 is separated by pulling it, the edge of the joint 4 becomes one edge as shown in FIG. 5, and remains in the body fixed with staples, and the excised lesion Part 11 is discarded with the rest of the suture prosthesis.
Incidentally, in the configuration of the present invention, in view of performing such an operation, it is preferable to use means such as temporary sewing and temporary adhesion so that the joint portion can be easily separated at the time of tubular formation. By doing so, it is not necessary to cut and separate the relevant part using scissors after the operation of the clamp and the cutter, and the operation is extremely simple. Further, when the biodegradable and absorbable material to be applied is expensive, as shown in FIG. 7, the material only for the stapling peripheral edge portion 14 is used, and the other portion 15 is made of an inexpensive other material by an adhesive. The temporary adhesion 16 may be performed. The above example is made into a tubular shape by means such as sewing or bonding, but if scissors or the like is used to separate the joints, such consideration is not necessary.
【0011】[0011]
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY As described above, the present invention can prevent the air leakage from the resection site or the rupture of soft tissue in the operation using the conventional staple type automatic suturing device, and its application range can be expanded. Moreover, there is an advantage that the bonding operation and the like are extremely easy.
