The present invention is a tubular suture prosthesis. When applied to an automatic suturing device, the prosthesis can be attached by a simple operation of simply fitting the staple on the staple portion. By performing the gold operation, a patch is interposed between the human body tissue and the staple, and the above-described problems such as air leakage and tearing of the tissue are eliminated.

[0006] On the other hand, since a biodegradable and absorbable material is used as the material, it has a feature that it does not remain as a foreign substance in the body if left as it is. As the biodegradable and absorbable material, polyglycolic acid, polylactic acid, or a copolymer of the two, or a material already applied as a medical material, such as a mixture, paradioxanone, polycaprolactone, and chitin, are selected. It can be formed by knitting, weaving, or non-woven fabric of the thread-like material, or by forming a cloth-like body such as a film into a tubular shape by an appropriate means such as adhesion or sewing. Particularly preferred examples of such a cloth-like body include flexibility,
From the viewpoints of air permeability, blood absorption, ease of staple passage, decomposability, etc., the inventors of the present invention have invented Japanese Patent Publication No. 5-1857.
No. 9 discloses a nonwoven fabric made of polyglycolic acid.

[0007] Further, the above-mentioned cylindrical formation is performed in a desired size,
That is, the cloth-like body cut into an appropriate size according to the size of the staple embedding portion of the automatic suturing machine to be applied is joined by an arbitrary method such as stitching, bonding, or the like. The use of the means of bonding is particularly preferable because it is advantageous in the workability after the suturing operation described later. However, a knitted fabric knitted in a high-density tubular shape may be used as it is so as to be suitable for the use. Hereinafter, the configuration and application will be described with reference to the drawings exemplifying the configuration and application.

FIG. 1 illustrates the construction of a suturing prosthesis 1 according to the present invention. For example, FIG.
A plurality of knitted fabrics knitted with polyglycolic acid yarns disclosed in the specification are overlapped, and a nonwoven fabric obtained by needle punching the knitted fabric is cut into a rectangular shape, and its edges are joined together. At the time of such suturing, as shown in the figure, when the thread end 3 is pulled, the seam 2 is released and the both ends are sewn roughly so that the both end edges can be easily separated at the joint portion 4. FIG. 2 shows a cross-sectional view of FIG. The suturing prosthesis of the present invention having such a configuration is as follows.
A double staple (2 rows × 2 rows of staples embedded) type automatic suturer, that is, a frame 6 having a staple receiving groove, as shown in FIG.
Automatic suturing device 5 having staple built-in cartridge 7, staple fastening handle 8, and cutter 9 as main components.
Frame 6 and the cartridge 7 are used by fitting. FIG. 4 shows such a fitted state. The suture prostheses 1 and 1 ′ are fitted to the frame 6 and the cartridge 7, respectively.

FIG. 5 shows a normal suturing operation, that is, a metal staple 10 clamping operation by the automatic suturing device 5 fitted with the suturing prostheses 1 and 1 'as shown in FIG. FIG. 6 shows a state in which the lesioned part 11 is separated from the part 12 which is not operated by the operation, and as shown in FIG.
The staple 10 is fixed via 1 'to prevent air leakage and tissue rupture by a patch-like function. FIG. 6 is a diagram of FIG. 5 viewed from the X direction. The cutter 9
The cutting portion of the suture prosthesis material 1 cut by the operation is a line AA in FIG. 2, that is, a substantially middle portion. After such a cutting operation, the joint 4 shown in FIG. 3 by pulling, the edge of the joint 4 becomes one edge as shown in FIG. 5 and remains in the body while being fixed by staples, and the resected lesion 1 is removed.
1 is discarded with the rest of the suture prosthesis.

In the structure of the present invention, in view of performing such an operation, it is preferable to use means such as temporary sewing and temporary bonding so that the joint portion can be easily separated at the time of forming into a tube.
With this configuration, there is no need to cut and separate the relevant portion using a clamp, scissors, or the like after the cutter operation, and the operation is extremely simple. When the biodegradable and absorbable material to be applied is expensive, use a material that is applied only to the staple action peripheral edge portion 14 as shown in FIG. 7, and use the other portion 15 as an inexpensive other material with an adhesive. Temporary bonding 16 may be used. In the above example, a cylindrical shape is formed by means such as sewing or bonding. However, if scissors or the like are used for separating the joint, such consideration is not required.

[Effects of the Invention] As described above, the present invention can prevent air leakage from a resection portion or tearing of soft tissue in an operation using a conventional staple-type automatic suturing device, and its application range is reduced. Can be expanded. Also, there is an advantage that the bonding operation or the like is extremely easy.
