た。かくして本発明は、シリカゾルを熟成した後20〜60
℃の温度で乾燥して得られる二酸化珪素であって、平均
粒径が凝集状態で10〜20μm、水分含有量80〜20重量%
の二酸化珪素と炭酸塩及び又はい重炭酸塩とを主成分と
し、二酸化珪素と炭酸塩及び/又は重炭酸塩との総量に
対して炭酸塩及び/又は重炭酸塩の使用量が5〜25重量
%である消火剤を提供するにある。
