んだりして行っている。一方従来からプラスチックフィ
ルムにより深絞り成形されたものにハンバーグ等の食品
をパックし密封した包装体やフランジ付きのプラスチッ
ク容器に食品を密封した包装体などが流通されている。
これらの包装体は外気を完全に遮断するように密封され
ているので、そのまま電子レンジに入れて加熱すると食
品からでる水蒸気の圧力により破裂してしまう。そこで
この場合、食品を包装体から取り出すか、あらかじめナ
イフ等で包装体の一部を切り、蒸気の逃げ口を作ってか
ら加熱処理を行わなければならなかった。しかし食品を
包装体から取り出すか、あらかじめナイフ等で包装体の
一部を切り、蒸気の逃げ口を作ってから加熱処理を行う
ことは煩雑であり、何も前処理なしで電子レンジで加熱
処理できることが望まれていた。これらの問題を解決す

してシールを貼着した包装体や、包装体のシール部分の

蒸気の逃げ口とする方法などが提案されている。しかし

大きさは特に限定するものではなく、蒸気が排出されれ
ば良く、従って溝部はシールされていない非シール部で
あっても差し支えない。そして蒸気圧により内シール部
の開裂を容易にし、且つ適度のシール強度を必要とする
には内シール部3のシール幅は外シール部4のシール幅
より小さく、1〜3mmであることが好ましい。
