Abstract

PURPOSE:To radiate the heat of a heating electric part so as to prevent the occurrence of a partial high-temperature part by arranging an elastic heat radiating part in contact with the heating electric heating part. CONSTITUTION:An electric box is constituted by accommodating heating electric parts 3 (relay, transformer, etc.) in a case 1, together with other scarcely heating electric parts. A heat radiating member 11, which is excellent in heat conductivity and elastic and has heat radiation fins, is interposed between the heating electric parts 3. For the heat radiating part 11, a material where inorganic powder fillers are mixed in large quantity to silicon rubber is used, and the length L is made larger than the contact face with the heating part 3, and the thickness D in width direction is set a little smaller than the interval between heating parts for the sake of heating fins, and it is press-fit between the heat radiation members 3. Hereby, the calorific value generated by the heating parts 3 is radiated efficiently, and the occurrence of partial high- temperature part is prevented, and parts are mounted in high density.

In the above-mentioned electric junction box, the following problems have occurred with the increase in the number of electric components of automobiles in recent years. That is, the size of the electric connection box is limited due to the space of the installation place, and within that restriction, if the number of electric components of the vehicle increases, the number of heat-generating components such as fuses and relays increases, and the electric connection box increases. The density of the connection circuits inside is also high. In particular, the fusible part of the fuse and the coil part of the relay generate a large amount of heat. For this reason, not only the number of heat sources such as the heat-generating components and the terminal connecting portions increase, but also the amount of heat generation increases. As a result, there are problems that local overheating occurs to cause melting damage or deformation of the case body or the like, or heat is trapped inside the case, impairing the function of the fuse or relay.

Since the above-mentioned heat dissipation component has elasticity, the elasticity can be utilized to easily dispose the heat dissipation component between the high-density mounted heat-generating electric component and another electric component or the case wall. Can be installed. Further, the heat of the heat-generating electric component is conducted to the other electric component or the case wall through the heat radiating component and diffused, and at the same time transmitted to the surrounding atmosphere and diffused.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the embodiments shown in the drawings. FIG. 1 is a partial perspective view of an embodiment of an electrical junction box according to the present invention. Reference numerals in the figure are the same as those in FIG. 4 used in the description of the conventional technique, and 11 is a heat dissipation component. The heat dissipation component 11 is formed of a resin material having good thermal conductivity and elasticity, and has a comb-like fin shape. The heat dissipation component 11 is a heat generating electrical component 2
Inserted in the space between the relays 3 by utilizing its elasticity,
The thickness D of the heat dissipation component 11
Is slightly larger than the interval between the relays 3 and 3.
In addition, the length L of the surface of the heat dissipation component 11 facing the relay 3
Is larger than the length of the surface of the relay 3. By doing so, the heat generated from the two relays 3 is generated by the heat dissipation component 11
This radiates heat to the surrounding space, preventing the generation of local high-temperature parts in the electrical junction box. Here, as the resin material having good thermal conductivity and elasticity, for example, silicone rubber in which a large amount of inorganic powder filler is filled is used.

FIG. 2 is a partial perspective view of another embodiment.
In the present embodiment, the heat dissipation component 12 is a thin plate made of metal (copper, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.) processed into a corrugated shape to form a ring, and has thermal conductivity and elasticity. This heat dissipation component 12 is bent at a right angle so that it contacts two surfaces of one relay 3 and one surface of the other relay 3 and is elastic in the gaps between the relays 3 and 3 and between the relay 3 and the case 1. It is inserted and retained by utilizing sex. Also in this embodiment, the thickness of the heat dissipation component 12 is set to be slightly larger than the width of the gap to be inserted, and the length thereof is longer than the length of the two surfaces of the relay 3 in contact therewith. The heat dissipation component 12 made of metal is not limited to the above embodiment, and may be a thin plate having a hollow structure.

As described above, according to the present invention, in an electric connection box having an electric component including a heat generating electric component housed in a case, a heat radiating component having elasticity is brought into contact with the heat generating electric component. Since the heat dissipating components are arranged in a narrow space in the densely packed electrical junction box, the heat dissipating components can be easily mounted by using elasticity, and the heat of the heat generating electrical components can be diffused to locally There is an excellent effect that it is possible to prevent the generation of a typical high temperature portion.
