Description of the Related Art Polycarbonate resin sheets are widely used because of their excellent transparency and mechanical properties, and are thermoformed into various shapes for use. Usually, a polycarbonate resin sheet is provided with a masking film on one or both sides thereof to protect the surface from scratches, contamination, etc. until the final use state. The masking film is usually a film of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene / polypropylene copolymer, polyethylene terephthalate or the like having a thickness of several tens of μm and an adhesive layer provided on one side thereof.

The glass transition point of a polycarbonate resin from 2,2-bis (4-hydroxyphenyl) propane (commonly called bisphenol A), which is a typical polycarbonate resin, is about 145 ° C., and when the polycarbonate resin sheet is thermoformed, Heat to about 160-180 ° C. When thermoforming is performed with the polyethylene terephthalate film masked, the melting point of polyethylene terephthalate is higher than the thermoforming temperature and it has heat resistance but does not stretch. Therefore, polyethylene terephthalate masking film is used during thermoforming, especially during press forming. In this case, tears and wrinkles are generated, and patterns due to the sliding of the masking film are generated, and these tears, wrinkles, slip patterns, etc. are transferred to the sheet, resulting in poor appearance. When thermoforming is performed with a film of polyethylene, polypropylene or a polyethylene / polypropylene copolymer masked, the melting point of these is lower than the thermoforming temperature of the polycarbonate resin sheet and has no heat resistance. In molding, male type, female type, fusion to the surface of the sheet, tearing,
Wrinkles and the like due to heat shrinkage and patterns due to slipping of the masking film occur, and these fusion marks, tears,
Wrinkles, slip patterns, etc. are transferred to the sheet, resulting in poor appearance.
Therefore, in the past, the masking film was peeled off and thermoformed,
After molding, they are put in a bag or masked again to prevent dust adhesion and damage, and the man-hours and costs required for this are considerable. Moreover, it is not possible to prevent scratches and contamination during thermoforming.

It may be a polycarbonate resin in which a part or all of it is replaced with another dihydric phenol. Other dihydric phenols include, for example, 1,1-bis (4-hydroxyphenyl) ethane, 1,1-bis (4-hydroxyphenyl) cyclohexane, 2,2-bis (4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethylphenyl). ) Propane 2,2
-Bis (4-hydroxy-3,5-dibromophenyl)
Propane, 2,2-bis (4-hydroxy-3-methylphenyl) propane, bis (4-hydroxyphenyl)
Examples thereof include sulfide and bis (4-hydroxyphenyl) sulfone. Examples of the carbonate precursor include carbonyl halide, carbonate ester, haloformate and the like, and specific examples include phosgene, diphenyl carbonate, dihaloformate of dihydric phenol and the like. In producing a polycarbonate resin, the above dihydric phenols may be used alone or in combination of two or more, and if necessary, a molecular weight modifier, a branching agent, a catalyst and the like may be used. The molecular weight of the polycarbonate resin is usually 13,000 to 10,000 as a viscosity average molecular weight.
It is 0, preferably 15000 to 45000. In addition, additives such as heat stabilizers (0.001 to 0.1% by weight) such as phosphorous acid ester, phosphoric acid ester, and phosphonic acid ester, triazole-based, acetophenone-based, salicylic acid ester-based, etc. may be added to the polycarbonate resin as required. UV absorber (0.1 to 0.7% by weight), tetrabromobisphenol A, low molecular weight polycarbonate of tetrabromobisphenol A, flame retardant such as decabromodiphenyl ether (3 to 15% by weight), colorant, fluorescent whitening You may mix agents and the like. The polycarbonate resin sheet targeted by the present invention is usually produced by extrusion molding, and its thickness may vary within a wide range depending on the use, but it is usually preferably about 1.0 to 15 mm.

The polycarbonate resin film used here is preferably made of the same kind of polycarbonate resin as the above-mentioned sheet, and the molecular weight thereof may be the same or different. The polycarbonate resin film used for the masking film is usually manufactured by extrusion molding, and if the thickness is too thick, the molding accuracy of the molded product will deteriorate due to the clearance of the male type and female type, and the cost will increase. It becomes bulky. Also, if it is too thin, it will easily tear,
Since it will not function as a masking film,
10 to 150 μm is suitable, especially 30 to 100 μm
m is preferred. In addition, an antioxidant, an ultraviolet absorber, a coloring agent such as a pigment or a dye, an inorganic substance and the like may be added to the polycarbonate resin film, if necessary.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive may be a pressure-sensitive adhesive used for a usual masking film, and examples thereof include polybutyl acrylate, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer, ethylene-acrylic acid ester copolymer, and these and styrene- Examples thereof include a mixture of a styrene-diene copolymer such as a butadiene block copolymer and a styrene-isopropylene block copolymer. If the thickness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is too thick, slippage may occur during thermoforming, so that the thickness is preferably about 3 to 50 μm, and particularly preferably 5 to 30 μm.

For example, when the polycarbonate resin sheet is a polycarbonate resin sheet made of bisphenol A, it is usually heated at about 160 to 180 ° C. for several minutes to several tens of minutes, and when the sheet becomes soft, it is press-formed using a male mold and a female mold. . When molding, it is preferable to carry out preliminary drying at about 80 to 120 ° C for several hours to several tens of hours.

The appearance is evaluated by visually observing the occurrence of changes such as tears in the masking film after molding, and by peeling off the masking film and visually confirming the presence or absence of transfer of the masking film fusion marks, tears, wrinkles, slip patterns, etc. on the surface of the polycarbonate resin sheet. It was judged by.

Polybutyl acrylate as an adhesive is supplied to the resin and melted at 140 ° C., and the thickness of the polycarbonate resin film is 40 μm through a feed block and a T die
The masking film was extruded while controlling the thickness of the polybutyl acrylate layer of the surface layer to 20 μm. The same polycarbonate resin used to manufacture the masking film was melt extruded into a sheet with a thickness of 5 mm and a width of 1000 mm using an extruder with a screw diameter of 120 mm and a T-die, and a diameter of 150 mm.
The sheet was sandwiched between a pair of silicon rubber rolls having a diameter of 2.0 mm at a pressure of 2.0 kg / cm 2 , and the above masking films were inserted into and pasted on these rolls on both sides of the sheet. The polycarbonate resin sheet to which the obtained masking sheet is attached is pre-dried at 120 ° C. for 16 hours, then heated at 180 ° C. for 12 minutes, press-molded using a male mold and a female mold, and the masking sheet after pressing is peeled off to form a polycarbonate. When the appearance of the surface of the sheet was evaluated, no fusion marks, tears, wrinkles, slip patterns, etc. were observed on the masking film, and the appearance was good.

When the appearance of the surface of the polycarbonate sheet was evaluated by peeling off the sheet, it was found that the periphery of the sheet had a fusion trace and a trace of a tear at the time of molding, resulting in poor appearance.
