Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent moisture from passing from the outside into the inside of a course and to improve reliability without degrading insulation resistance characteristics and oscillation characteristics by applying a moisture-proof coating material on the surface of a case with a prescribed oscillator. CONSTITUTION:A conductive contact agent 13 is applied on the surface of a terminal stand 14 in contact with a lead terminal 15. A piezoelectric magnetic plate 12 is electrically connected and fixed to the terminal stand 14 through the conductive adhesive agent 13. A piezoelectric magnetic vibrator 11 is arranged at the upper part of the surface of this piezoelectric magnetic plate 12, and the electrodes of both of them are electrically connected by the conductive adhesive agent 13. After the terminal stand 14 is covered with a case 17 so as to house it, the opening part of the case 17 is sealed with a sealing resin 16. The entire external face of the case 17 is coated with a moisture-proof coating member 18 so as not to permeate the moisture to the internal face of the case 17. Thus, high reliability can be provided without degrading moisture resistance.

2. Description of the Related Art A conventional technique will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 3 is a front sectional view of a conventional ceramic oscillator, and FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the conventional ceramic oscillator. In FIG. 3, 1 is a piezoelectric ceramic vibrator, 2 is a piezoelectric ceramic plate having two left and right capacitance functions, and 3 is a conductive adhesive.
Reference numeral 4 is a terminal block, 5 is a lead terminal implanted in the terminal block 4, 7 is a case made of a resin having a bottom opening, and 6 is a sealing resin. It is absolutely necessary that the material of the case 7 has an insulating property in order to prevent an electrical short circuit between the piezoelectric ceramic vibrator 1 and the piezoelectric ceramic plate 2, and it is difficult to form the case 7 in a shape that is difficult to mass-produce. Resin is used because it can be easily done and the cost can be reduced.

However, in the above-mentioned conventional structure, since the case 7 is made of resin, water vapor permeates into the case 7 due to decomposition of water, which causes remarkable deterioration of insulation resistance characteristics and oscillation characteristics. There was a problem that the moisture resistance deteriorates.

FIG. 1 is a front sectional view showing a ceramic oscillator of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the ceramic oscillator of the present invention. The conductive adhesive 13 is applied to the surface of the terminal block 14 so that the lead terminals 15 come into contact with each other. The piezoelectric ceramic plate 12 is electrically connected and fixed onto the terminal block 14 via a conductive adhesive 13. The piezoelectric ceramic vibrator 11 is arranged on the upper surface of the piezoelectric ceramic plate 12, and a conductive adhesive 13 is provided between the electrodes of both.
To connect electrically. After covering the case 17 from above so as to accommodate the terminal block 14, the opening of the case 17 is sealed with the sealing resin 16. A moisture-proof coating material 18 is applied to the entire outer surface of the case 17 so that moisture cannot permeate the inner surface of the case 17. Therefore, the humidity resistance does not deteriorate and high reliability can be obtained. Even if the moisture-proof coating material 18 is applied to the case 17 alone, high reliability can be obtained, and even if the moisture-proof coating material 18 is applied to the inner surface of the case 17, the same reliability can be obtained. As the material of the moisture-proof coating material 18, silicon-based, fluorine-based, or epoxy-based resin can be used.

As described above, the ceramic resonator according to the present invention has the case surface coated with the moisture-proof coating material, and can prevent moisture from the outside from permeating into the case. Therefore, it is possible to provide a highly reliable ceramic oscillator without deteriorating the insulation resistance characteristic and the oscillation characteristic.
