Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent slipping caused by a hydroplaning phenomenon by attaching a sensor for measuring a water condition on the ground to a tire and reporting an increase in a slipping danger to a passenger. CONSTITUTION:Positive and negative electrodes 1 and 2 are buried in a ground so as to be kept within the range of a contact surface of a tire at the time of stop. When electricity flows across these electrodes for over a specified time, a water layer is formed between the tire and the ground and the likelihood of slipping by a hydroplaning penomenon is identified. Then, a danger signal is sent to a driver in the car by a wiring 7. Thus, a slipping danger by the hydroplaning phenomenon can be reported to a driver and safe driving can be maintained.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an apparatus for detecting the condition of an automobile tire. Slip on rain roads is said to occur due to the so-called hydroplaning phenomenon, which creates a layer of water between the tire and the ground. The present invention is to install a sensor for measuring the state of the ground contact surface on the tire, when the ground contact surface of the tire is in a certain condition, notify the driver of that, or by automatically decelerating the speed of the vehicle, It is intended to prevent slipping due to the hydroplaning phenomenon. It is also possible to attach various inspection devices to the tire to notify the driver of the tire air pressure, the wear state, the temperature, the presence or absence of a puncture warning, and the like. The following is a bulleted description.

(A) The positive electrode 1 and the negative electrode 2 are buried in the range of the surface of the tire that fits in the ground contact surface when the vehicle is stopped. In FIG. 1, the positive and negative positions may be reversed.

(B) When the tire rotates and the positive and negative electrodes are grounded, and when a certain amount of electricity flows to the two electrodes, a layer of water is created between the tire and the ground, and hydroplaning is performed. It can be judged that slip due to the phenomenon is likely to occur.
