Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a fungus culturing method capable of growing a large amount of conidia irrespective of thickness of a medium in relation to culture of a filamentous fungus and capable of extremely widening a use aspect in a research field such as a kind of nutrition required by a fungus to retain. CONSTITUTION:In culture of including a basidiomycte such as mushroom and fungi filamentous fungus such as a mold, vermiculite is added to a medium and the culture is carried out.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Industrial field of application] The present invention relates to the use of vermiculite for the infestation of hyphae of filamentous fungi such as basidiomycetes and molds, fruit body formation of mushrooms, and sporulation of filamentous fungi. The present invention relates to a characteristic culturing method.

(2) Regarding the culturing of filamentous fungi, on the agar medium or in the form of rice bran or rice bran, the conidia are produced.
In the culture medium using only the rice bran and rice bran, the air permeability was poor and the uniformity of spore formation was lacking.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] According to the present invention, when vermiculite is used when culturing or cultivating basidiomycete mushrooms, the problem of selection of tree species peculiar to mushrooms can be solved. In addition, it has become possible to greatly expand the field of use in terms of research such as what nutritional requirements are held by the bacterial species. It is a property of vermiculite that is porous and has excellent absorbency, water retention, breathability, lightness, particle size stability, and high stability to heat and chemical substances, and is used to infuse various culture media. It is possible. In addition, depending on the type of mushroom, it is possible to generate mushrooms without using wood that is complex in composition, which saves wood resources and shortens the number of breeding days. Furthermore, when used as a culture medium for mushroom inoculum, it is lightweight and extremely easy to handle, unlike sawdust.
The use of vermiculite, which is easy to process, improves workability, and since the waste medium is mixed with vermiculite, the waste medium can be quickly fermented and can be immediately used as a high-quality organic fertilizer containing a soil improver for agricultural crops. Regarding the culture of filamentous fungi, unlike rice bran and fu, which tend to be compacted when it contains water, it became possible to increase the amount of medium per unit area by using vermiculite. This made it possible to generate a large amount of conidia regardless of the thickness of the medium. Examples of the present invention will be described below.

[Result 1] In Example 1, by adding vermiculite, it was possible to obtain the effect of increasing the number of days for completing the growth of the bacteria for 2 to 3 days, the number of days until the harvest of the mushrooms for 5 days, and the yield of 9 to 12 g per bottle. This made it possible to improve the turnover rate of cultivation. In addition, it is possible to improve work efficiency because it is easy to take out the waste medium after harvesting mushrooms.

[Result 2] By mixing vermiculite with an appropriate amount (1% to 90%) and sawdust, it was possible to shorten the number of days of cultivation by 5 days and the number of days of mushroom occurrence by 10 days, and the yield was increased.
In particular, in bacterial bed cultivation, since the medium weight is large, by mixing vermiculite, which has excellent air permeability and water retention,
The effect was more pronounced than in bottle cultivation.
