大ギヤー13が固着し、小ギヤー15が噛み合つている。始
動モーター17の駆動軸19に電磁クラツチ21を介して接続
する回転軸23に小ギヤー15が固着している。始動モータ
ー17は中立位置復帰型の始動用の正逆転の切換スイツチ
25によつて切換作動する中立位置復帰型の切換リレー27
に接続し、切換リレー27はリレー29の接点31を介してバ
ツテリー33に接続している。切換スイツチ25は回転検出
用接点35,リレー29を直列にバツテリー33に接続してい
る。リレー29と並列に電磁クラツチ21が接続している。
バツテリー33には電源に接続するための充電用コネクタ
ー37が接続している。マグネツトホイル5の外周に埋設
するマグネツトに感応して起電する起電コイル7の二次
回路39には点火栓41が設けられ、一次回路43は点火ユニ
ツト45に接続するとともに、整流用のダイオード47を介
してバツテリー33に接続している。点火ユニツト45は一
次電圧が所定の電圧に達したときに一次回路43を短絡さ
せて二次回路39を高圧に起電させて点火栓41で放電させ
るものである。また一次回路43に回転検出装置49が接続
し、エンジンの1回転毎に発する一次回路の電流のパル
スを計測し、所定時間におけるパルス数が所定の数値に
達したとき、すなわち、エンジンが所定の回転速度に達
したとき回転検出用接点35を遮断するよう設けられてい
る。また一次回路43を短絡させるエンジン停止用のスイ
ツチ51が設けられている。これにより、接点35と切換ス
イッチ25とを直列に接続した回路(第1の回路)の通電
時には接点31が閉じ、この接点31と切換リレー27とを直
列に接続した回路(第2の回路)が通電し、又、第1の
回路の遮断時には第2の回路が遮断するものである。

継続するとともに、回転検出装置49において回転速度を
検出して、回転検出用接点35を遮断して電磁クラツチ21
を遮断し、同時にリレー29の電流を遮断して接点31を遮
断し、始動モーター17は停止する。同時に、切換スイツ
チ25,切換リレー27は中立位置に復帰する。エンジン1
が回転している間は始動モーター17に回転することがな
いが、エンジン1が停止すると回転検出用接点35が接続
して元の状態に復帰する。逆転の際には、切換スイツチ
