沿って形成されている胴縁、5はその両縁部に沿って形
成された係止突起5a,5aがガスケット取付け部4,4の凹溝
4a,4a内に夫々挿入されることにより胴縁3の上記T字
の頂辺部分を外側から覆うように即ち目地6の底部に対
応し得るように該胴縁3に組込まれたガスケット、7は
長孔7aを介してビス8等によりガスケット取付け部4の
側壁へ外装パネルに合わせた所定の配設ピッチでプラス
チック製等のキャップで被われたフック部7bがガスケッ
ト5よりも外側に突出するように取付けられたフック
(第2図参照)、9はその両側縁に沿って形成された裏
側折返し部9a,9aが外壁面上に隣接して敷設されている
二本の胴縁3,3(第1図)上のフック7及びガスケット
5と整合するように該裏側折返し部9a,9aに形成された
係合用孔10とフック7のフック部7bとの係合により(第
4図参照)外壁面に沿って吊下げられるようになってい
る外装パネル、11は外装パネル9の上部折曲げ部9b(第
2図,第4図参照)をガスケット取付け部4の適所へね
じ止めするための固定用ビスである。上記の場合、特に
第2図に明示したように上下方向に隣接する外装パネル
9,9の下方側の外装パネル9の上部折曲げ部9bは上方側

スケット取付け部4からの抜け落ち等が完全に防止され
る。次に、敷設された胴縁3から突出するフック7のフ
ック部7bと外装パネル9側の係合用孔10とを係合させる
ことにより外装パネル9を外壁面に沿って吊下するが、
これはフック7へ単に引っ掛けるだけの簡単な作業であ
るから容易且つ能率的に行ない得る。そしてこのように
吊下されることにより外装パネル9はほぼ所望の位置決
めが完了しており、又、このとき縦通しのガスケット5
が裏側折返し部9aに密着するため胴縁3に対してずれな
い程度に固定されている。従って外装パネル9を仮り固
定する作業は最早不必要になるばかりか、かかる仮り固
定の上記に保持しておく必要もなくなる。ここで、かく
して吊下されている外装パネル9の例えば下方側へ隣接
して配置されるべき外装パネル9を胴縁3に吊下する際
その上部折曲げ部9bを上方に吊下されている外装パネル
9の下部折曲げ部9cとガスケット5との間に挿入せしめ
て下方側の外装パネル9をフック7に引っ掛ければ上記
と同様にこの外装パネル9の吊下を行うことかできる。
又、これとは逆に吊下されている外装パネル9の上方側
へ吊下する場合は、かかる上部折曲げ部9bの挿入操作は
不必要であるが、このように複数の外装パネル9を吊下
してゆく際の順序が制限されることなく、任意の外装パ
ネル9から適宜吊下することができるため、現場に即し
た最適の段取りで作業を進めることが可能になる。かく
して、外壁面の所望の領域範囲に吊下された個々の外装
パネル9の上部折曲げ部9bを固定用ビス11により固定し
て外装パネル9の取付けが完了するが、必要に応じてフ
ック7の位置は調節され得るので、取付け完了後の取付
け誤差を完全になくすことができる。又、ガスケット5
はこのような外装パネル9の吊下・固定により裏側折返
し部9a,9aと強く圧着し合うので外装パネル9の内側へ
の漏水の浸入を確実に防止することができる。一方、一
旦取付けられた外装パネル9は上記とは逆の仕方で適宜
のものから自由に取外すことができるのは勿論である。
