Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve an adhesive strength of a surface fastener to a foamed molded form. CONSTITUTION:A flexible maternal 12 integrated with surface fasteners 10 is set in a recess 22 of a mold 20, and an inner protrusion end 24A of an undercut part 24 is intruded into a side face 12A of the material 12. Then, liquid foamed plastic material 28 is transferred to the mold 20 and foamed in the mold 20. Thus, it can prevent the material 28 from being adhered to an engaging surface 10B of the fastener 10, and the face 12A and a rear surface 12C except a surface 12B of the material 12 coupled with the fastener 10 can be impregnated with the material 28.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, automobile seats and the like have a structure in which a cushioning body is covered with a skin material, but the seating surface is often formed in a recessed shape in order to maintain the seated posture of an occupant or for decoration. In such a seat, in order to prevent the skin material from being lifted up from the cushion body in the depressed shape portion, for example, as shown in FIG. 9, the surface fastener 72 is fixed to the depressed shape portion 70A of the seat back 70. The foam molded product 73 is used as a cushion body, and the surface fastener 75 is attached to the surface fastener 72.
The outer surface of the skin material 75 is prevented from rising by engaging the back surface of the skin material.

According to the method of manufacturing a foam fastener-integral foam-molded article of the present invention, the liquid foaming raw material is impregnated into the outer peripheral portion of the soft material bonded to the back surface of the hook and loop other than the bonding surface of the hook and loop fastener. As a result, the hook-and-loop fastener and the foam molded article are bonded together. Therefore, the soft material is firmly bonded to the foamed molded product because it bonds not only to the back surface but also to the side surface. Therefore, if the surface fastener is firmly integrated with the soft material, the adhesive force between the surface fastener and the foam molded article can be improved.

Next, the liquid foamed plastic raw material 28 is injected into the mold 20 and foamed in the mold 20. In this case, the inner protruding end 24A of the undercut portion 24 bites into the side surface 12A of the soft material 12 and seals the outer peripheral portion of the soft material 12, so that the liquid foamed plastic raw material 28 is applied to the engaging surface 10B of the surface fastener 10. It is possible to prevent the adhesion. Further, the liquid foamed plastic raw material 28 is impregnated into the side surface 12A and the back surface 12C of the soft material 12 excluding the front surface 12B to which the surface fastener 10 is bonded. After that, when the liquid foamed plastic raw material 28 is foamed and becomes a foam molded product, the surface fastener integrated foam molded product is taken out from the mold 20.
