(Prior Art and Problems Thereof) Recently, as a printing device for a word processor or a computer, a dot-impact printer that drives by printing a thin metal pin on a cloth ribbon is widely used.
If you want to speed up printing and improve quality with this dot printer method, dot wire (metal pin described above)
It is necessary to make the diameter of the wire very small, for example, about 200μ. When the dot wire is made thin as described above, the dot wire is abraded significantly due to printing, which is a serious problem.

(Progress of Invention) Several approaches can be considered to solve the above problems. For example, a method of improving the material of the dot wire or a ribbon of the printer can be considered.

The inventors of the present invention focused on the ink used for the ribbon of the printer, particularly the colorant used for the ink, to solve the problem.

Conventionally, the black colorant used in this type of ribbon ink is mainly carbon black. The present inventors considered that the particle size of carbon black is related to the wear of the dot wire, and attempted to reduce the particle size. As a result, the wear amount of the dot wire decreased as the carbon black particle size decreased, but the wear amount of the dot wire was large even with carbon black having a considerably small average particle size, which was not practically satisfactory. It was

On the other hand, when aniline black was used as a substitute for carbon black, the wear amount of the dot wire was considerably reduced. However, in the case of aniline black, the density of printed characters, the light resistance, and the chemical resistance are low and not satisfactory. Therefore, when various combinations of carbon black and aniline black were examined, it was found that there was a strong correlation between the particle size of carbon black and the effect of aniline black as a lubricant.

(Structure of the Invention) That is, the present invention provides a ribbon ink for a dot printer, which contains carbon black having an average particle diameter of 30 mμ or less, aniline black, and a vehicle.

The carbon black used in the present invention may be commercially available, but it is required that the average particle size is 30 mμ or less, preferably 20 mμ or less. If it exceeds 30 mμ, the amount of wear of the dot wire increases, which is not preferable. The average particle size is usually measured using an electron microscope. Carbon black is 5 in the ribbon ink for dot printers of the present invention.
It is compounded in an amount of -30% by weight, preferably 10-20% by weight. If it is less than 5% by weight, performances such as light resistance and chemical resistance are insufficient, and if it exceeds 30% by weight, abrasion of the dot wire becomes large.

Aniline black acts more as a lubricant than a colorant in the present invention. The effect of aniline black as a lubricant is remarkable when combined with carbon black having a particle size of 30 mμ or less. The amount of aniline black added to the ink is 5 to 25% by weight, preferably 5 to
It is 20% by weight. If it is less than 5% by weight, the anti-friction effect is not sufficient and the dot wire is abraded. If it exceeds 25% by weight, the resistance of the printed characters becomes poor.

The ribbon ink for a dot printer of the present invention can be obtained by thoroughly mixing the above components with a vehicle such as a non-volatile oil. A ribbon for a dot printer can be obtained by applying the obtained ink to a ribbon material such as nylon cloth. Examples of the non-volatile oil include motor oil, oleic acid, rapeseed oil, soybean oil, castor oil and the like. Coating is usually performed by a method such as gravure or flexo. Commonly speaking, the coating amount is 10-17g /
m 2 .

(実施例) 本発明を実施例により更に詳細に説明する。(Examples) The present invention will be described in more detail with reference to Examples.

Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Examples 1 to 5 Inks were obtained with the formulations shown in Table 1 and nylon 6 having a width of 13 mm was used.

The ribbon cassette was adjusted to a Mobius ring of 5 m and filled. Using the obtained ribbon cassette, 100 million dots were printed with a dot impact printer, and the abrasion amount was measured. The results are shown in Table-1.

As is clear from the above table, the carbon black having a particle size of 30 mμ or less and combined with aniline black has a small wear amount, a high printing density, and a good durability. Further, as compared with Comparative Examples 3 and 4, even if the particle size of carbon black is small, the amount of wear is 40 if the amount of aniline black is not mixed.
It exceeds mμ. Comparative Example 5 is an example of aniline black alone. In this case, the amount of wear is small but the print density and print resistance are poor.
