Abstract

CONSTITUTION:The cockroach-attracting and feeding-stimulating agent comprises one or more kinds of compounds of the formula (R is amino, OH; X is methylene, O) (e.g. 5-indanol, 5-aminoindane, 3',4'-methylene dioxyphenol, 3',4'-methylenedioxyaniline) as an active ingredient. The compound of the formula exhibits a strong attracting action and a strong feeding action for many kinds of cockroaches, has a good fixing property, and further does not cause the deterioration of its activity even in the case of the coexistence of female and male cockroaches.
