Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a releasable layer in uniform thickness, and to obtain the title foamed sheet, properties of which are hardly changed, by providing a process, in which a thermoplastic film having the releasable layer consisting of an ultraviolet curing type silicone resin layer on an external surface on the top face of the thermoplastic resin foamed sheet, and a process in which an adhesive layer is formed onto other surfaces. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin film 12 is coated with an ultraviolet curing type silicone resin composition, and an ultraviolet curing type silicone resin is cured through ultraviolet-light irradiation, thus forming a silicone releasable layer 13. The thermoplastic film 12 with the releasable layer 13 is superposed, joined and laminated on the top face of a thermoplastic foamed sheet 11 while positioning the releasable layer 13 on the outside. The other surface of the thermoplastic resin foamed sheet 11 is coated with adhesives, thus forming an adhesive layer 15. The joining of a releasable film 14 and the coating of adhesives can be conducted simultaneously, and curing by the silicone resin composition of the releasable film 14 can be performed easily by the irradiation of the silicone resin composition with ultraviolet rays after joining through a thermal laminating method.

2. Description of the Related Art Adhesive thermoplastic resin foamed sheets can be easily attached to a target object by giving them adhesiveness while making the best use of the characteristics of a foamed body. It has been applied to a wide range of fields such as materials, but especially when a thermoplastic resin foamed sheet with an adhesive layer is stacked or rolled, peeling is prevented by preventing adhesion between the stacked sheets or between the rolled layers. In order to have the property, the release paper was interposed.

In the above-mentioned conventional adhesive thermoplastic resin foamed sheet, when the rolled sheet is rolled or the sheets are stacked and brought to the site, the release paper interposed as described above is generated. In addition to being a waste material and wasting resources, it costs too much to bring it back,
It was very wasteful. As a countermeasure, an adhesive thermoplastic resin foam sheet in which a silicone release layer is provided on one surface of the thermoplastic resin foam sheet and an adhesive layer is provided on the opposite surface as proposed in Japanese Patent Application No. 3-136686 is proposed. ing. However, since there is no established technique for producing the adhesive thermoplastic resin foam sheet, the development of an advantageous method has been desired. The present invention aims to solve this problem.

This will now be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 shows an adhesive thermoplastic resin foam sheet obtained by the present invention. On the upper surface of the thermoplastic resin foam sheet 11, a release layer 13 composed of an ultraviolet curable silicone resin layer on the outer surface of the thermoplastic resin film 12 is formed. The release film 14 provided with is laminated, and the thermoplastic resin foam sheet 1 is also provided.
An adhesive layer 15 is provided on the lower surface of 1. In the practice of the present invention, the joining of the release film and the coating of the pressure-sensitive adhesive can be carried out at the same time, and the silicone resin composition layer of the release film is cured by ultraviolet rays after the joining by the thermal lamination method. It is easily performed by irradiating the silicone resin composition layer with ultraviolet rays. Further, the silicone resin composition layer is semi-cured by irradiation with ultraviolet rays and completely cured by heat during lamination.

As the thermoplastic resin foamed sheet used in the present invention, a thermoplastic resin such as polyurethane resin, polyethylene resin (including crosslinking), polypropylene resin or the like is used, and the foaming rate and the thickness of the foamed sheet are For example, a foaming ratio of 3 to 50 times and a thickness of about 3 mm to 10 mm can be applied, although it depends on the material and the application. Various resins such as polyester resin, polyethylene resin (including crosslinking), polypropylene resin, vinyl resin, polystyrene resin and acrylic resin are used as the thermoplastic resin film provided with the release layer of the ultraviolet curable silicone resin composition. In this case, it is necessary to select a material for the thermoplastic resin foam sheet and a material for the thermoplastic resin film that are easy to form a laminated structure by welding. The thinner the thermoplastic resin film is, the better.
Those having a thickness of about m to 1 mm are used. It can be formed by laminating a film made of the same material as or similar to that of the foam layer or by coextrusion with the foam layer.

There are various types of UV-curable silicone resin compositions. Among them, the one in which an epoxy-functional silicone is cured by UV in the presence of a cation-generating catalyst does not inhibit curing by oxygen. ,
Epoxy-functional silicones, which are said to have no unpleasant odor, but further contain an antistatic agent composed of a compound containing no nitrogen, phosphorus and sulfur and a photoinitiator, are preferred. (See Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 4-59207), here, epoxy-functional silicones include polymethyl hydrogen siloxane, olefinic epoxy monomers such as 4-vinylcyclohexene oxid, allyl glycidyl ether, and 7-epoxy-1-octene. It can be obtained by addition reaction of a monomer. Further, the lamination can be easily achieved by using a heating roll, but in some cases, an adhesive may be applied and adhered.

Comparative Example 1 A pressure-sensitive adhesive thermoplastic resin foam sheet of Comparative Example was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the ultraviolet curable silicone resin composition was directly applied without using a polyethylene film. The ultraviolet curable silicone resin composition could not be applied to a uniform thickness, the spreading force was large, and only a sheet having a low adhesive strength was obtained. Comparative Example 2 As a result of replacing the application of the ultraviolet curable silicone resin composition of Example 1 with an embossed polyethylene film bonded to the foam layer, the expansion force was increased, and only a sheet with low adhesive strength was obtained. I couldn't do it. Comparative Example 3 Silicone-coated paper was used as a separator without using the thermoplastic resin film layer coated with the ultraviolet curable silicone resin composition. I was satisfied with the adhesive properties,
However, a large amount of separator became waste.

As can be seen from the above embodiments, the present invention has no separator to be discarded, and since the peelable resin layer is provided, even if the amount of expensive ultraviolet-curable silicone resin used is small. A high adhesive strength is obtained. When the foam is polyethylene, polyethylene is the most preferable as the peelable resin layer, polypropylene is likely to cause vertical tearing, and polyethylene terephthalate can be obtained only with a small elongation, so it is necessary to consider its use. Further, as the thermoplastic resin foam sheet, in the case of continuous cells such as polyurethane,
When polyester is used, a pressure-sensitive adhesive can also be applied by coating on one side of a polyethylene sheet, and this can be provided by heat lamination to effectively use the adhesive strength.

According to the present invention, since the silicone resin having releasability is not directly applied to the expandable resin layer, it is not applied to the unevenness of the expandable resin layer, and therefore, the release of a uniform thickness is achieved. Layers can be realized. Further, since the peelable silicone resin is cured by ultraviolet rays, unnecessary heat is not applied to each layer and there is little risk of deterioration. Further, the silicone resin that forms the peeling property and the foamed thermoplastic resin can be easily integrated by thermal lamination. Furthermore, as described in claim 2, it is also possible to carry out preliminary curing with ultraviolet rays and complete curing by heating during thermal lamination.
