DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION <Industrial field of application> The present invention is to react animal and vegetable oils (beef tallow, coconut oil, castor oil, olive oil, palm kernel oil, sheep oil, etc.) or its decomposed fatty acid with an alkaline agent, The present invention relates to improvement of transparency and long-term storage stability of a transparent soap in which sugars (sucrose, sorbitol, maltitol, etc.), lower alcohols and polyhydric alcohols are added as a clarifying agent.

<Prior Art> Generally, the commercially available transparent soap has a water content of about 18 to 25 parts by weight at the time of shipment, but in the case of long-term storage, the equilibrium water content may reach around 9 parts by weight. In this way, when the water content in the transparent soap is reduced, the sugar is recrystallized and partly whitened, and when it further proceeds, it becomes opaque and cracks occur.

Even if this happens, the soap function will be fully fulfilled, but the whitening prevention has been an important point for quality improvement because it loses its value as a product. Therefore, it has been desired to develop a transparent soap with improved opacity.

Addition of a large amount of esters as an oil component to transparent soap is effective in preventing whitening, but has a drawback that it tends to be softened. Therefore, the present applicant has conducted repeated experiments as to how to prevent whitening with a small amount of esters, and as a result, using 1-hydroxyethane-1,1 diphosphonic acid or a salt thereof in combination has an effective effect. That is what I found.

This 1-hydroxyethane-1,1 diphosphonic acid or a salt thereof is widely used as a chelating agent for a soap to improve foaming even in hard water, and as an antioxidant. It wasn't enough. That is, the whitening prevention effect of the transparent soap, a sufficient effect can not be expected only by using the esters, 1-hydroxyethane-1,1 difosiphonic acid or a salt thereof, but a synergistic effect can be obtained by using the two in combination. It emits and has a remarkable effect.

The compounding amount of 1-hydroxyethane-1,1 diphosphonic acid or a salt thereof can be 0.1 to 2 parts by weight with respect to the anhydrous transparent soap glue. If it exceeds 2 parts by weight, in the case of transparent soap, it becomes soft and hard to solidify. On the other hand, if the amount is less than 0.1 parts by weight, a sufficient effect cannot be obtained.

Esters are 0.3 to 15 relative to anhydrous transparent soap glue.
It can be mixed in parts by weight. Especially, ethyl ester of fatty acid has a good compatibility with the transparent soap substrate. If it exceeds 15 parts by weight, the original cleaning function of soap will be lost,
On the other hand, if it is less than 0.3 parts by weight, a sufficient effect cannot be obtained.
