Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 ［産業上の利用分野］ 本発明は季節に応じた絵柄を表示する装飾表示付時計に
関するものである。
［従来の技術］ 従来、例えば時計の文字板に絵柄を描いて装飾性を持た
せたものがある。
［発明が解決しようとする問題点］ 上記のものでは、絵柄が固定されているため、長期間使
用していると、飽きがくるものであった。
本発明は、気温の変動があっても簡単な構成で確実に季
節の判定が行え、かつ興趣に富んだ装飾性豊かな時計を
提供することを目的とするものである。
［問題点を解決するための手段］ 本発明は、春と秋はカレンダ回路の出力によって判定
し、夏と冬は当日前一定日数の平均気温から判定し、こ
の判定出力に基いて、季節に応じた絵柄を選択的に表示
することにより、上記目的を達成している。
［実施例］ 図面において、１は時刻表示部で、その上下には季節に
応じた景色等を表示するための表示部２〜２を設けてあ
る。この表示部２〜２は例えば液晶パネルとか蛍光表示
管等からなるものである。３はクロックパルス発生回
路、４は計時回路、５は月日を計数するカレンダ回路で
ある。６は特定時刻、例えば午前５時を検出して一定時
間だけ出力を発生する検出回路である。７は温度セン
サ、８はＡ／Ｄ変換回路、９は記憶回路で、例えば１０
日分の温度データを記憶するものである。１０は記憶回
路９内の温度データの平均値を演算して季節を判別する
演算回路、１１は春秋を判定する春秋判定回路、１２は
表示部２〜２の選択回路である。１３は各回路の動作を
制御するタイミング回路である。
つぎに動作について説明する。近来、一般の家庭では冷
暖房が完備してきて、室内の温度は四季を通じて変化が
少なくなってきている。そこで室内の温度から季節を判
定するには、冷暖房を切ってから室内の温度が戸外の温
度と最も近い温度になる明け方の５時頃の温度を測定す
るのが好ましい。検出回路６は午前５時を検出してタイ
ミング回路１３を動作させる。このタイミング回路１３
の出力によって温度センサ７が動作し、その出力はデジ
タルデータに変換された後、記憶回路９に記憶される。
記憶回路９には１０日前までの温度データが記憶されて
おり、新しいデータが書き込まれるごとに最も古いデー
タが消去される。こうして１０日前までの温度データが
記憶回路９に記憶され、その平均値が演算回路１０によ
って算出される。この値によって季節が判別される訳で
あるが、春と秋については、温度だけでは判別できない
ので、判定回路１１の出力との協働によって両者を判別
するのである。すなわちカレンダ回路５からの３〜６月
の出力と演算回路１０からの一定温度範囲内の出力との
アンドによって春を判別し、９〜１１月の出力と演算回
路１０からの上記一定温度範囲内の出力とのアンドによ
って秋を判別するものである。夏と冬については、演算
回路１０からの出力のみによって判別される。
このようにして季節が判別され、その季節に応じた表示
部が選択的に表示されるものである。
なお表示部は上記のように、季節に応じて分割したもの
に限らず、例えば、液晶表示素子によってドットマトリ
クスを構成し、予めＲＯＭ（リードオンリィメモリ）に
記憶させておいた季節ごとの絵柄の表示パターンを選択
的に読み出して表示するようにしてもよい。
［発明の効果］ 本発明によれば、春と秋はカレンダ回路の出力によって
判定し、夏と冬は当日前一定日数の平均気温から判定
し、この判定出力に基いて、季節に応じた絵柄を選択的
に表示するため、短期的な気温の変動があっても季節の
判定を間違えることがなく、常に季節にあった絵柄を表
示することができる。したがって、四季折々の絵柄を楽
しむことができ、長時間使用しても飽きることがなく、
装飾性に富んだ時計を提供することができる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】季節に応じた絵柄を選択的に表示する表示
    部と、月日を計数するカレンダ回路と、このカレンダ回
    路の出力を受けて春秋を判定する判定回路と、当日から
    所定日前までの特定時刻における平均気温を演算する演
    算回路と、上記判定回路および上記演算回路の出力を受
    け上記判定回路によって春または秋が判定されたときは
    上記表示部によって春または秋の絵柄を選択して表示さ
    せ、夏または冬の季節の絵柄は上記演算回路の出力によ
    って選択して表示させる選択回路とからなる装飾表示付
    時計。
